Rachamankha: "Great hotel on great location"
"I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and clean, and so is the hotel. Service is outstanding and all staff is really friendly. My stay included breakfast, which was delicious! Food is so good and inexpensive! Location is great, near the night market (10 min in tuk tuk), but far from the loud areas, which is good for me. My only complaint is the lack of a fitness center. I would stay there again!"Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song made Ho Chi Minh City a magical stay"
"Villa Song is beautifully located on the Saigon River, with gorgeous views for 220 degrees. While away from the downtown, there is no problem with access: the boat shuttle is less than 15 minutes and a stunning architectural tour of HCMC, and taxis are inexpensive. The Villa Song is an oasis of calm with wonderful service that is attentive without being intrusive. Gracious, accommodating, impeccable. Room Tip: Rooms on second floor with a balcony are worth the extra price."Locavore: "Impressive servings"
Going to Locavore is like being at one of your favorite high-end restaurants. They offer food served in ways that you don't consider yourself. They played with ingredients and served it in their lovely place in Ubud. I was surprised by the match between the cocktails and food + the surprise snacks that were served. We recommend going all-in if you visit this place.Tandjung Sari: "Perfect for Honeymooners"
My husband an I came to the beautiful place as a gift from my father in law, as he had stayed here before. We were so pleasantly surprised, the place was fantastic. The room was clean and had relaxing day beds inside and out the front of the cottage we even had out own private hut to relax in. The room was very clean and we felt very comfortable, the shower was outdoors. The best part was the beautiful gardens that surrounded us, the restaurant is on the beach, also the day spa at the hotel is the best I have ever been to. We cant wait to return.tugu lombok: "Too good… Tugu!"
We are travellers who enjoy the splurge when it's worth it but never like to return to locations we have previously visited (the world is just too big). Tugu is one of those places we would love to visit again though, if only for its uniqueness. One of the first things you'll hear on your intro is that Tugu is not for everyone and this is the kind of thing that makes me happy on holidays. Who wants to spend money to get holidays that are "for everyone"? In Tugu you will be taken care of individually. We stayed 4 nights at Dadap Merah on the Retreat package and definitely recommend the package to all. The room is unique and -frankly- perfect. We loved the rustic quirkiness of the resort and the kindness of all staff. Terima kasih and you again!Villa Song Saigon: "Perfect Oasis in Saigon"
Saigon can be hectic to say the least, and having Villa Song to come back to every day absolutely made our trip. The rooms, the pool, the outdoor and indoor dining areas are all beautifully appointed. And the staff is some of the friendliest we have encountered. The location is incredibly convenient. The hotel provides a free boat shuttle to get down town which also removes much of the stress of getting to and from the city. Being right on the river, in the comfort of Villa Song was truly wonderful. We didn't want to leave and will never stay anywhere else in Saigon!Les Maisons d’Itac: "beautiful property and great staff"
The property is beautiful and the pictures don't really do it justice. It is extremely peaceful and a wonderful place to stay outside of Moalboal. The staff and the community are very welcoming. Overall, a terrific trip and we certainly look forward to our next visit.Villa Song Saigon: "An oasis of calm amidst the madness of Saigon"
"Yega and his team make every effort to make a stay at the Villa Song a memorable occasion. They are extremely warm, professional and hospitable and the hotel is in a spectacular setting on the banks of the Saigon river. There was a wedding on when we were staying. We were naturally concerned given we had two young children with us and we were worried that the noise would prevent them sleeping. The staff were extremely accommodating however, gave us an excellent recommendation for a dinner location nearby (to which they paid the taxi) and ensured that the noise from the wedding was not excessive. We were keen to eat in the restaurant as we heard great things about the food- however we didn't get the chance because of the wedding... next time, we hope. well worth a stay. "The Island Lodge: "Chill out space extraordinaire"
You know that feeling of leaving a perfect place and grieving for that experience? Well, that is how we feel right now. The Island Lodge provided us with much needed healing and relaxation from the stresses of our work, health issues and our lives in the 'rat race'. The world is becoming a harder place but The Island Lodge provides a respite from all of that. Thank goodness for such a place. We spent most of our time outside or on our balcony watching the river life - a busy artery of interest and diversity. The breakfast was personalised - no buffet. Beautiful basket full of breads, a variety of juices, eggs to suit and more. Dinner and a nice wine list enhanced the open wall dining area so we could still see the river! Pool was the perfect temperature for me. A comment about the staff - they were gracious, polite and seemed to be able to predict your needs. Thank you to all.Misool Eco Resort: "A True Island Paradise"
"There are plenty of Lengthy reviews here already so will keep this succinct. Just spent 10 Sublime days & 9 Exquisite Nights at Misool Eco Resort this September. Would have happily spent 10 more. This is a truly special place. I have not been to another resort anywhere that matches the genuine care, warmth and concern that all of the staff show for their guests. Mark and Sue, with their vast Island Resort experience, along with their humble unassuming nature bring a level of Empathetic service and understanding that is unmatched anywhere! I could list all of the other frontline staff by name and thank them individually, but I was equally impressed with all of them, as they were all totally genuine and helpful and an absolute delight to share the island with. This is not some pretentious 5 star resort in the Maldives, or Bora Bora that has spared no expense on all of the modern luxuries at the expense of its surroundings and the Native Peoples. It is a perfect, flawless uncut diamond built in perfect harmony and balance with it's mostly untouched surroundings, in a well considered, thoughtful and sustainable way. The resort manages to simultaneously give back to the local people whilst truly supporting and restoring its pristine surroundings to all of their original glory. If you are a diver, the abundance of Soft Corals and Marine Life on all of the surrounding reefs is overwhelming. If you are not a diver, a leisurely afternoon swim or snorkel on the house reef is just as impressive. You won't find another experience quite like staying Misool Eco Resort anywhere! If you are considering it, Do it! As soon as you have, you will want to go back for more."
