The Village House: "Great great Staff and Hotel out of Kuching"

Review by: keutch | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at village house for 3 night for the ester week end. First the place is charming, tastily decorated and the room and bathroom are really clean. But the second point and what made this stay so great was the service and the staff! A big thank you to Alifa, Flora and Eleesa for taking such a good care of us! Great advice and help to visit around Santubong village and some talk about the culture of Borneo. And a big congrats to the Chef (that call him just a cook, you should not when you are serving a 8 course menu ...) really talented and worth paying more than the Food court few km from the hotel (by the way run away from damai beach resort). So to sum up, definitely a place that i recommend 100%, great for a week end gateway from Singapore or as a step into your travel in Asia! "

Nimmu House: "Nimmu the hidden gem of Leh"

Review by: Johanna B | Source: Trip Advisor
"I arrived in Leh with family travelling from Delhi, Nimmu house is a charming heritage boutique hotel approx 45mins from town and airport, surrounded with apricot & apple trees in a picturesque setting. On arrival the reception greeted us as family, very friendly and caring of our well being in acclimatising to the mountains. The air was fresh, water clean the beds very comfortable. Wifi is free, as to be expected in Ladakh it does not always work. I found it to be a great escape after being in Delhi, the first thing i noticed apart from the great beauty of the mountains was the fresh air and friendliness of the locals. I have also to mention the chef who is outstanding the waiter attentive and caring, the courtyard relaxing with comfortable seating and hammocks I really can not fault Nimmu and hope to return."

Jing’s Residence: "The best hotel we have stayed at anywhere!"

Review by: claires180 | Source: Trip Advisor
"My husband and I just checked out from a two day stay at Jing’s Residence, and I must say it was the most enjoyable hotel we have ever stayed at in the world. It is not overly opulent nor extravagant, just perfectly designed, with exceptional service, and every detail is taken care of. Imam and his team could not have been more accommodating and attentive, and were never overbearing or fussy. Afternoon tea was a wonderful experience, breakfast was excellent, and the in room local snacks were very much appreciated. The hotel itself is exceptionally beautiful. Furniture and artwork has been very tastefully selected, and the outdoor spaces are as well maintained as the indoor ones. The location couldn’t have been better, steps from the sights and shops but in a very quiet and peaceful part of the old city. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more, and not only should it be where you stay during your time in Pingyao, you should come to Pingyao just to stay here!"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Exquisite mountain lodge situated 1000 feet above Pokhara Valley"

Review by: Bob92110 | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed two nights at this marvelous mountain lodge that sits on a hilltop ridge overlooking the Pokhara Valley. Your "room" is actually a very spacious, luxurious, comfortable, hand cut stone bungalow blending naturally into their surroundings and sited to maximize the breathtaking vistas of the valley and Himalayas mountains. Each room has a private verandah and set in private gardens. There is an infinity pool with unmatched views of the mountains. The main lodge with both in and outdoor dining facilities and patios to enjoy the valley and mountain views is very, very nice. Our first night there were just three couples and we enjoyed a lively discussion over dinner. The second night had a large group of 19 guests which didn't "take over the space" since the bungalows are spread out and all very private. Most enjoyable stay here after our three days of trekking. Great place to begin your trekking experience or to recuperate afterwards. Most relaxing and the restaurant offerings are top notch, as is the staff and the manager, Mark. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Rachamankha: "Perfect choice for a short getaway"

Review by: Maura G | Source: Trip Advisor
"Love this hotel in the old city of Chiang Mai. It was designed under Chinese influences. Rooms are comfortable. Some rooms have little porches. The pool is nice and quiet - there is 'service' (food/drink) around the pool area but the staff is not visible. The breakfast is lovely. You get a variety of choices from the menu."

Summertime Villa: "A true garden of Eden"

Review by: EricO1966 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I spent 3 truly stunning nights in Summertime a few months back. I waited a while to write this review to see if my opinion would change over time. It hasn't. This stay was a transformative experience. Built with love by a couple still in love, Summertime is an oasis of peace in one of the most beautiful region of India. Wild peacocks all around, graceful birds endlessly plunging in the infinity pool for a brief splash, beautiful gardens, a koi pond, a majestic living/dining room, 3 enormous bedrooms with ensuites and walk in closets and wonderful staff all awaited to make my stay one of the great experiences of my traveling life. I cannot recommend enough the warm and welcoming hospitality of Hans and Sucheta."

Supanniga Cruise: "One of the highlights of our trip"

Review by: Annie D | Source: Trip Advisor
This cruise exceeded our expectations. Its not the cheapest cruise on the river but the reward for paying a bit extra is a great service & six delicious courses of food that is personally delivered to your table with an accompanying description of the meal on offer. We loved the traditional with a modern twist, classy but funky vibe of the cruise all set against the stunning backdrop of the Chao Praya river at night. This was one of the highlights of our trip & will do it again next time in Bangkok.

Maison Polanka: "Intimate boutique hotel"

Review by: Hlalani | Source: Trip Advisor
"This hotel is small only 6 guest rooms I believe. We booked the Khmer House which was huge. We felt like we had our own house which we did. Ground floor is an outside seating area with massage tables. Room had so much character with unique pieces of furniture and even an old gramophone. Service was attentive and they were very helpful in booking our tours. Great pool to cool off after a sweaty day of sightseeing. This hotel is about 10mins from Pub street and the markets. Not much else nearby but that makes it all the more a beautiful sanctuary. "

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "A very special place"

Review by: Anita C | Source: Trip Advisor
It's not often that I come across a place like Tiger Mountain which has such a rich history, character and genuine warmth. The staff led by Marcus is first class - almost all of them have been with the lodge from the start (nearly 20 years) so there is a sense of real family and connection. A colleague of mine who has lived in Kathmandu for the past 20 years recommended this gem to me and i can see why. Escaping the chaos of Kathmandu to the quiet hills and being surrounded by beauty, clean air and the option of relaxed strolls through the local village or an afternoon reading a book with tea while facing the mountains - it was perfect! But most of the all, the people made it special. Thank you Marcus and team for making my stay so memorable and for connecting me to such lovely and interesting guests - like Carol below whose birthday i celebrated on my first night there. I will be back very soon.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing and very different experience than usual hotel/resort!"

Review by: Indira | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here for three nights and had a brilliant experience. I was a bit concerned I would get bored with nothing much to do as I knew it wasn’t possible to go off trekking into the country. However, there were a number of trips at no extra charge. We went on the boat to visit a local village one day and saw how the school operated and the challenges facing the villagers. We were welcomed into the village by the people, cows who strolled down to see us, together with the dogs and chickens! On our way back we were able to kayak down the mangroves and see another aspect of the area and also challenge ourselves ... kayaking is OK if you know how to do it well although we managed not to kayak completely into the mangroves! It was good fun and the guides follow closely to help out. In the evening we took a short trip down to see the fireflies which were amazing but also it was beautiful to see all the stars in the sky which can be a rare sight when you live in a busy UK town. The other trip we took was to the waterfall which was great. It’s trickey to go across the rocks but the guide was really helpful showing us the way and supporting us. You could swim in the water there and it was really warm and a great experience. On each trip we had lunch prepared for us and we could eat it on the boat. Meals were exceptionally good and breakfast was great as you had a number of choices which were brought to you .. so much nicer than wandering around a buffet breakfast. Staff generally were brilliant and all were exceptionally supportive and if they didn’t know the answer to a query would find out the answer for us. Finally, the tent itself. It was so unusual but comfortable and had everything you needed. It didn’t have wi fi etc but that’s not exactly the ‘end of the world’ ... we were there for a different experience and that’s what we got. The bed was really comfortable and it was great when the tent gently rocked sometimes. We would definitely visit again and I could thoroughly recommend it."
