Loved this restaurant. Dined there twice. Unbelievably service and amazing food. The Beef slow cooked curry was especially greatSukoon Houseboat: "wonderful houseboat"
No doubt the best houseboat in kashmir, initially planned to stay at the houseboat for 2 nights but it was such wondeful place to be that extended my stay for one more night, the staff is excellent very caring and the food served one of the best ever had on my holiday...Would love to go back and enjoy the beauty and the surroundings from the houseboaat....David’s Kitchen: "Impeccable experience and amazing food"
My fiends and I (all in our 30s and foodies who travel all over the world) went to Davids based off a friends recommendation. When we arrived, we were so pleasantly surprised to have David himself greet us at the door. Our table was ready with a welcome sign with our names at the table (small detail that not many restaurants do). We tried 4 appetizers, 3 dinners, a dessert and signature cocktails. Every thing we ordered was so delicious and presented perfectly. The pumpkin soup was phenomenal. We also had escargot, surf and turf, lamb shank.... I can't say there was even the simplest thing that we didn't love. Knowing that we're foodies, we told David who offered to take us into the kitchen and we took pictures with all the chefs. They then followed us with a personalized email which just was the perfect end to an already fabulous! Highly recommend making a visit.... you won't regret it!Villa Song Saigon: "gorgeous place to stay"
"we stayed in this lovely hotel for a long weelend whilst visiting hcmc. we absolutely loved it. the hotel manager took the time to meet us personally and welcome - though there was a wedding reception that first night, we did not at any time feel disturbed or a lack of service. to compensate for the inconvenience, we were offered dinner or a taxi ride to wherever we wanted to go for dinner. absolutely great. the hotel has an own shuttle service by blat to the city and this is awesome. the boat leaves in front of the hotel and drops u off in the middle of the city centre. great service. some might say its not close to the city centre, but with the boat shuttle, this hotel clearly makes up for it - but not only that - overall, i believe its the best place to unwind after a day in the hectic city of ho chi minh. "Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Dining experience not to be missed"
"The setting, food and service were top notch. If you are someone that wants to enjoy a unique and delicious meal this must be on your list in Siem Reap. I saw on their website that reservations must be made weeks in advance. There were 4 in our party. There were two tasting menus to choose from and 2 of us had one menu, 2 the other. The chef and his staff take great care in presenting beautiful, unique and wonderful dishes. The price point is so reasonable that as U.S. Citizens we were blown away for what is brought to the table. The owner reached out to me once the reservation was confirmed to ask about any food allergies.I found that to be very considerate and a testament to wanting to be certain that the menu offered to customers is not compromised . The owner greeted us warmly after we arrived and the chef came out to speak to us as well as others having dinner. The ride from our hotel in a tuktuk was fun as well. As I said earlier, the setting is lovely. We all loved the entire experience at Cuisine Wat Damnak. We did sit inside by the way which was comfortable and a personal preference, rather than outside with fans. That may or not be an option depending on when you make your reservation. I would not bring children here."Samanea Beach Resort: "Fabulous getaway!"
Superb villa accommodation for couple or families. The staff were superb as was the salt water swimming pool. Very lovely villas, comfortable beds, outside showers and inside bathrooms, cable TV, wireless, restaurant, man made beach and incredibly beautiful gardens. Be warned though that even though it is right on the sea, the sea comes up to a gown ups knees only! There is a very long jetty that takes you out further but again the tide is normally out - don't get me wrong it is still very pleasant. Mangrove is very clean, lots of wildlife especially birds. The staff could not do enough to help they were just great and overall I must say our experience was excellent. For a getaway from Phnom Penh or to just visit Kep it is the perfect place.RACHAMANKHA: "Slice of heaven in Chiang Mai"
"This hotel was absolutely beautiful and a refuge to come home to after a day strolling the busy streets of Chiang Mai. There is always a wonderful aroma of incense around the property...I think it was Sandalwood, but nevertheless was just delicious. The rooms were spacious and the bed was so comfortable, again after a long day. The lounges that surround the property are also delightful and I just wish I had had more time to sit and read and enjoy a drink while enjoying the decor. It is an elegant property, yet not stuffy and very welcoming. "Reverie Siam: "An experience to remember"
Reverie Siam will always be a very special place for my mother and I. As soon as we arrived we were transported, this place is so much more than a hotel. Every detail has been thought about, the staff were always one step ahead of us. A special thank you to Mr Sabastian for making each night so lovely, we thank you for your talent and experience. To Toffy for your humor and care, we looked forward to seeing you every morning. There is no doubt we will be back to visit you again and will recommend this oasis to all the special people in our lives. Thank you!Sanak Retreat Bali: "The absolute highlight of our Bali trip"
"Now this is not the ordinary 5 star luxury resort kind of thing, it is so much better. We had great expectations upfront reading all the positive reviews and honestly were still positively surprised. This place simply is beautiful. The view, the rice paddies, the pool, in fact the whole atmosphere is so relaxed and idyllic, that you can’t help getting in harmony with nature. We stayed for four nights in a two bedroom villa, and it was nice and spacious, with a beautiful view from both balconies. Interior is basic and you won’t find aircon and other modern facilities like television etc. But you won’t need it, as temperature is very pleasant at night and the layout of the villa makes it possible to get fresh air during the day. Only room for improvement is the relatively limited closet space not matching a two bedroom villa, but we just kept most of our luggage in the suitcase. Bathroom and toilet is very basic and especially the toilet a little dark, also hot water is on/off most times, but not a huge issue for us. The restaurant is really great with very good food and on top has an unobstructed view of the valley. Food is as mentioned really great and prices are very moderate despite the remote location. You are served free water everywhere, really a nice touch. Staying at the resort you will probably have most of your meals at the restaurant, and perhaps would like to see a slightly different menu for lunch to get some variation, but there are still lots of option on the menu to satisfy most guests. We used the spa almost every day, and it’s a really great spa experience they offer at Sanak. Definitely the best spa we experienced in Bali. The spa has a really beautiful reception area and treatment rooms, nice welcome and very professional service throughout the spa treatment. Maybe a mirror to use after the treatment could be the final touch towards perfection. The pool is beautiful and the view is fantastic, so you could easily spend hours here just enjoying the beautiful view. Not enough sunbeds though, so a little busy at times and people actually had to sit on the grass, but guess they don’t want to fill up the pool area with more sunbeds spoiling the otherwise exclusive settings. Maybe a few extra sunbeds as backup could be an idea. But who wants to stay at the pool all day anyway, when surrounded by such beautiful nature. They offer a lot of different tours of northern Bali, we visited Bedugul and Jatiluwih but our favorite was the village trek with a local and very informative guide, absolutely a highlight. If possible try not to miss the local kids practice dancing in front of the pool – really fantastic. We have praised the villas, the restaurant, the spa, the pool and the local guided tours, but probably the best thing about Sanak Retreat is their wonderful staff. They are all smiling, positive, helpful and definitely a huge part of the total Sanak experience. They are all living in the local village and there’s no doubt that they are very proud of working at and supporting Sanak retreat, this is probably what makes this place so unique. From the welcome to the departure we were treated like friends. We stayed many nice places around Bali but no doubt that Sanak was the absolute highlight of beautiful Bali."
