Jings Residence: "An oasis of Calm in Pingyao"

Lonely planet says Pingyao is perfect. Well, Jing's Residence is the perfect place to stay in the perfect walled city. The service is exceptional. They anticipate your every need without being intrusive. Right from the moment you are collected at the airport with snacks to a concierge who helps you plan the perfect activities for your stay... the service is impeccable. The restaurant is outstanding; you'll want to have every meal here! We're foodies and really didn't want to go anywhere else which says a lot for people who normally like to explore local restaurants. The hotel is part of Relais & Chateau and Secret Retreats. Based on our experience here we'll look for other hotels in Asia which are part of these 'brands'. Go! You will love it!

Heritage Suites Hotel: "Truly remarkable staff from top to bottom!"

"I acquired a two nights stay at the heritage suites through a silent auction in Shanghai. I was unable make it to Cambodia before the expiration date of the room nights. The general manager was cool enough to extend the time frame and after staying I am more grateful to the management than before! Beautiful rooms, affordable and world class food and beverage! But the true highlight our stay was the hotels staff! All were outstanding in both service and attitude. Rathner , the server by the pool was a standout but really all of them truly seemed to care about the guests here. The adventures office staff set us up with a private boat tour, personal driver, helicopter tour. Take their advice on everything!! They are right! The front desk are all pros and made sure all of our needs were met and checking was seamless. I wish I could remember everyone's name but trust me, they are all very good at what they do. The owners of this property have truly been blessed with a Fantastic staff and I will definitely be back to see them again. The temples are beautiful but the people at this property made this trip special for us. Well done!"

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Amazing Hotel"

Cheong Fatt Tze - Blue Mansion is an amazing place to stay. The mansion is beautiful, and very well restored. It is fantastic to stay in such an historic building; you feel back in time. The breakfast is ok, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved it.

Tugu Malang: "An excellent hotel"

I wanted my stay to last forever. This is the place to stay while in Pingyao.

Samanea Beach Resort: "Perfect for a relaxing getaway"

"We stayed at Samanea for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The resort is spacious, with a large swimming pool and a private beach. The villas are quite big, with a private patio and an outdoor shower and bath, which I really liked. The restaurant was good, we had daily breakfast and a few times lunch and dinner during our stay. I would say that Samanea is ideally located for a relaxing getaway, it's not in the center of town, but privately located at the edge of Kep. Still within walking distance to the crab market and to the Kep National Park, or alternatively the hotel can call a tuk tuk for your convenience. We'll be back!"

Villa Mathis: "Wonderful stay"

Our stay at La Villa Mathis was simply the best we did in Bali! The team is lovely, the room classy and cosy, the food is exquisite, the Spa is lovely and of course the four pools are just amazing !! The whole place is magical and so peaceful ! Thank you Sam for your great welcoming and your kindness :) We definitely recommend this hotel !

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Best meal I’ve ever had"

I'm telling you what I told my wife when we were there - "this meal is the best meal I've ever had". Also, the price is very reasonable relative to the quality of the food and cocktails. Definitely a great choice for a classy (relative for Siem reap) dinner!

Villa Song Saigon: "A fabulous oasis in this noisy city"

"Saigon (or Ho Chi Minh City to be PC) is a large, noisy, chaotic city. It was a relief, therefore, to find our accommodation was away from the madness, right on the river and the general ambience of the hotel reflected its location. Fabulous food and cocktails, a lovely setting, a stunning pool, very friendly staff... all in all I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in Vietnam. Stayed November 2016, traveled with friends"
