Jing’s Residence: "Fantastic Hotel! Fantastic Service!"

Review by: JauntyFox | Source: Trip Advisor
"We decided to visit Pingyao based on Lonely Planet recommendations (Pingyao is famous as a walled city and well-known for its local goods). So glad we did! This hotel was the best during our China/HK holiday. It is an oasis in an otherwise dusty and remote location. The room and facilities is top notch although don't expect to watch TV as there is none except in the guest lounge. You won't miss it though as the hotel offers spa treatments; noodle making and paper cutting classes. We were able to relax in the guest lounge with complimentary afternoon tea. All tea and delicacies (we had eight bean treasure one day and a type of porridge the next) are locally produced and were delicious. The restaurant is great for both breakfast and dinner with a wide selection available. Loved the scrambled eggs Chinese style on a bed of steamed rice for breakfast. Personal service and attention from all the staff is second to none but especially from the resident manager, Imam, who is outstanding. He was always available to assist or ensure our needs were being met and popped up magically as we would pass through the lobby area. On our final morning of our stay he took us on a personal tour of a ruined courtyard giving us a tremendous insight into how the locals lived many years ago as well as escorting us to a local shoe manufacturer. We would definitely stay here again and the hotel and friendliness make this place worth the detour to Pingyao itself! "

The Governor’s House: "Truely boutique Hotel experience…!"

Review by: Luc N | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Stayed again at the Governor's House in Phnom Penh. Always a pleasurable experience, the welcoming atmosphere, friendliness of the staff, very human scale of the hotel, and above all unparallelled taste with which it has been decorated..Have a drink and a talk at the lobby bar, and feel slipping back in time to yesteryear... Will keep coming back."

Flower Island: "Could have stayed forever"

Review by: Melanie4012 | Source: tripadvisor.com
What a wonderful stay we had on Flower Island! It was a bit of a trek to get there as we tried a cheaper option (hiring a bangka instead of opting for their speedboat which was quite pricey) but was a little adventure in itself and worth the effort once we arrived! Staff turned up on the beach to welcome us and we found out we were the only people staying on the island with 32 staff! Just an incredible experience. Beautiful cottage with a comfortable bed under a mosquito net. Hammock on our veranda. A lovely dining and bar area. Beautiful beach and free use of snorkelling equipment - we went out for a snorkel just off of the beach and saw loads of coral, fish and even a turtle! It's so dark and quiet at night and the stars are amazing!! The food was delicious - we are both quite picky eaters and could find something we really liked at each meal. The trip to the pearl farm was brilliant and so interesting. The staff were so attentive and friendly, they couldn't do enough for us. Wifi wasn't working when we were there and it was actually quiet nice for us to get away from that side of life for a while but I know might bother some people. Only drawback was that drinks were expensive for the Philippines, including water which is a little frustrating considering you are on an island and there isn't any other option of getting anything to drink. But the island really is paradise and what you pay isn't half of what the other off island resorts and is worth every penny. We were really sad to leave! Such an amazing experience to have our own private island for a few days!

CHAKRABONGSE VILLAS: "A palace"

Review by: Globetr0ttingG0urme | Source: tripadvisor.com
It's not often you get to stay in a real palace. And the Traditional Thai teak sala hotel rooms on its palace grounds are unique and remarkable. Our room fronted the Chao Praya river, and candidly, our private lanai/patio was double the size of most hotel rooms these days. Not cheap, but an experience. And perfect for that very very special celebration Best of all, Tatien district, which is behind the royal palace and Wat Po, is experiencing a revival with new eateries, things to do and trendy hotels. We loved the Museum Siam directly across from Chakrabongse Villas, and the River Books bookstore o hotel premises. Don't miss nearby Err restaurant, traditional Thai from the folks that gave us bo.lan.

Supanniga Eating Room: "Most delicious crab"

Review by: Mrs_Explorer_yolo | Source: Trip Advisor
Loved it! Tried three types of crab, my favourite was definitely the one in red curry sauce. Super friendly staff and a few new dishes I haven't seen at other Thai restaurants. Went back once more since I was dreaming of the crab...haha.

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Stunning Culinary Address"

Review by: eatpraylove07 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Seeds delivered quite the fine dining experience, but at the same time, managed to maintain a cozy, home-y and hospitable atmosphere. The location is a winner. The outdoor decking is a perfect spot for a sunset aperitif, situated on the Inya Lake amongst a breathtaking garden of lotus flowers. The interior design and the table setups are simply elegant. A lot of the chinaware is custom-designed and you can really tell. The service was excellent. The entire team was really attentive, and even Lucia and Felix themselves came over to our table to make sure everything was well. We really appreciated the hospitality. And of course, last but not least, the food was exceptional. The amuse bouche of lobster bisque was delicious, so were the appetizers like the pumpkin soup with scallops, and our mains of pork fillet, lamb and beef. All of the dishes had extra little ingredients that, together, created an explosion of harmonized flavors on our palates. The truffle ravioli, apparently a Chef Felix special, was also a delightful surprise. All in all, compliments to Lucia and Felix, and the entire Seeds team."

Villa Song: "Best year end dinner ever"

Review by: WWWTrainer | Source: Trip Advisor
"There are many places for eating out in Saigon but it’s almost impossible to find a place more cosy and romantic than Villa Song. We joined the Sylvester dinner, had great food, starting with kitchen greeting, soup, scallops, a delicious lobster and fantastic dessert. Framed by european and Vietnamese music time flew towards midnight. We will always remember this amazing year end."

Les Maisons d’Itac: "Like home..only better"

Review by: bina112 | Source: Trip Advisor
"It has been a month since my friends and I had the pleasure to spend the most relaxing time at les Maisons. What can I say, it is a piece of paradise. We were really happy and so relaxed. The staff is more than staff, I really want to describe them as friends and family. Brian, Raiden, Marvin, Rose, Leah and of course Stacy, and our protector and compansion Itac. We miss all of them so much, we get nostalgic and homesick when we look at the pictures and videos we took. Once you have been there, you do not want to leave. If you have to, like us..one will be gripped by this constant wanderlust! Thank you so much for one of the best times! We will be back! FYI, the food is also really good!! =)"

TIGER MOUNTAIN POKHARA LODGE: "Amazing place"

Review by: kiwirep | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Tiger mountain lodge is amazingly relaxing, an oasis of beauty and organisation and fantastic food in the midst of a fabulously beautiful environment. The chef is splendid, the walks wonderful and the people and enthusiasm for the locale and the villages something to behold. There is a surprising amount to do and you are also on the verge of the Annapurna range and its extraordinary trail. "

tugu lombok: "A place to unwind, forget the hustle and bustle……relax!"

Review by: Leslie C | Source: tripadvison.com
"We wanted a place in the warm tropics with green gardens, a beach to comb, comfortable accommodation away from the madding crowd. Tugu ticked all our boxes and then some....the heart of Tugu most definitely is the wonderful compliment of staff. We were really made to feel most welcome, nothing was too much trouble for anyone....a very big thank you to you all. "
