"This hotel is not only beautiful and conveniently located close to the train station, but what makes it really worth recommending is the extra effort they make. The free afternoon tea and snacks, the hotel tour, the made-to-order grilled fish at the pool, a little coffee gift to take home, and many more. It was really great and you felt welcome every minute. They have plenty of different rooms, including very special ones, but as we had to leave early we just took a standard and that was already very good. For transport, a becak driver is usually hanging out outside the hotel - just check with the hotel how much you should pay in case you're not familiar with the usual prices. "Davids kitchen enjoys a great reputation in Chiang Mai and richly deserves it. You will walk away happy after eating here. The menu is superb and the service exceptional. They brought a long stem rose to the table for my wife, a nice gesture. I have also been to a few charity events here as David supports good causes. The restaurant is helmed by a French chef who uses fresh local produce, herbs and spices together with his sophisticated cooking technique, taking Cambodian cuisine to next level. The chef greets each table upon guest's arrival by introducing menu of the day, he also presents petit-four to complete our meal. What a sincere and friendly gesture to the customers! The 6-course menu (you can choose 5 too) is very reasonably priced without sacrificing quality and quantity of food, it is definitely a great place to try the flavoursome Cambodian cuisine and spend an evening there.Cuca: "Deliciosa experiencia"
Fuimos a este restaurante la última noche del viaje en bali y fue la mejor decisión que tomamos.. Se nota que hay mucho trabajo y disciplina en cada uno de lo detalles de este restaurante desde el diseño el personal el concepto......llegamos aqui a las 6 de la tarde para tomar un almuerzo-cena... "What an incredible stay at Villa Song. From the moment we arrived the staff ensured everything was 100% perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The area is amazing, lots of cool bars and restaurants. It's about a 20 min drive from the city, but the hotel has a boat that takes you right in and brings you right back in about 10 mins max. The rooms were beautiful as was the pool area. We also had the best cocktail we've ever had here. Bar was superb. Can't recommend this place enough - will never stay anywhere else in Ho Chi Minh. Like all the other reviews I can only agree that Sea Dance is very special. From the moment of arrival to the sad departure 7 days later we were so well looked after. Poy,Faith and the team went out of their way to help. Never intrusive but always there if needed with recommendations and support. We left feeling we had made good friends. So, the accommodation was great, we had villa 30 and it was very private. A short walk to the excellent restaurant where the service is exceptional and the food delicious. The setting by the sea is magical and the swimming pool is beautiful. "One of my best hotel experiences ever, and I travel a lot for work and pleasure. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made sure that everything was perfect for us. This small hotel has a very unique, authentic feel to it. I believe it only has about 26 rooms, so it has a small, elegant character. After spending several weeks site-seeing around Thailand, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Some highlights were the pool, which was never crowded and the hallways and sitting area at night which had amazing incense burning. Pingyao is amazing and so is Jing's residence…a wonderful experience with great care taken by the management and staff to make it a very personal stay. The converted property is something of a rabbit warren but the the rooms are sumptuous with stunning architecture and interior design. To top it off they food and service were simply superb….the dinner was terrific and the breakfast beat anything we had during 2 weeks in China.Locavore: "Amazing Lunch in Ubud"
"Our experience at this restaurant was truly amazing. We were recommended by our good friend to come here and we left happy, full and satisfied. We sat in the kitchen rail and got to see the chefs create some of the dishes. The front of house staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the 7 course lunch and kitchen staff explained in detail of every single course that came to us. There was also an prologue and epilogue to the 7 course, which added to the whole experience. I'm originally from Indonesia and accustomed to the traditional tastes and meal presentation. These guys took it to the next level and blew my mind. The intertwining of complex flavours are interesting. Some of the flavours brought me back to childhood, some exposed me to new tastes. This is all to say that my tastebuds were very happy and wanting more. We had a really nice time. 2 hours well spent!"
