Locavore: "Amazing Lunch in Ubud"
"Our experience at this restaurant was truly amazing. We were recommended by our good friend to come here and we left happy, full and satisfied. We sat in the kitchen rail and got to see the chefs create some of the dishes. The front of house staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the 7 course lunch and kitchen staff explained in detail of every single course that came to us. There was also an prologue and epilogue to the 7 course, which added to the whole experience. I'm originally from Indonesia and accustomed to the traditional tastes and meal presentation. These guys took it to the next level and blew my mind. The intertwining of complex flavours are interesting. Some of the flavours brought me back to childhood, some exposed me to new tastes. This is all to say that my tastebuds were very happy and wanting more. We had a really nice time. 2 hours well spent!"The Island Lodge: "Paradise on the banks of the mighty Mekong"
We had 24 hours at Island Lodge in April and from the moment we were collected at the main road in the Lodge's golf buggy and whisked down the narrow lane to the hotel, we knew we had found something very special. Michel and Francoise have gone to enormous trouble to make sure that every detail is perfect. The staff are charming courteous and discreet. The rooms are large, cool and ours had a terrific balcony overlooking the infinity pool and the Mekong River beyond. We had a very pleasant afternoon boat tour round Unicorn Island before settling down on the terrasse with an ice cold beer to watch the evening light on the river and the boats of every size and shape. Swimming early in the morning in the large 24 m pool with the Mekong just a few metres away was surreal.Samanea Beach Resort: "Fantastic relaxing place"
We stayed for 10 days and had a peaceful experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful rooms are beautiful and spacious. Loved taking the kayak into the bay. We stayed with two teenage daughters who loved it too- highly recommend this if you are looking for somewhere quiet as not much near to do, but only 15 minutes in a tuk tuk to the crab market area for foodMisool Eco Resort: "Wonderful vacation"
"We visited for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The diving was exceptional. My wife and I have about 80 dives from Fiji, Bali and the Caribbean, so we are experienced but not experts. The dive team was fantastic and the sites themselves were the best we have been to by far. All close by. The resort does much more than talk about ""eco"" . They are dedicated and it shows in almost all that goes on. Food was great, accommodations were comfortable and the staff is very helpful, I went and got a pot of coffee the first morning to bring back to our porch and the next day they brought it to us at 6:30 am. It is not a luxurious, stuffy, place but very comfortable and unique in the world. We had water cabin 5 and I think it would be my choice in the future because it is sheltered from the afternoon sun but my wife thought water cabin 8 would be preferable because it is a little more private ( it gets the sun in the afternoon though) We will go back sometime for sure."The Hue House: "Customer"
First time when i come to the hue House , at first i has left deep impression is the espace with Huế imperial palace 's style , either the space outside , the service is enthusiasm , agile. Specially is the foods, they are delicous . There r too many kinds of great food so i couldn't try it all in 1 time . Honestly thats great. "Summertime Villa is an oasis of seclusion in one of the most touristy parts of Goa. I can't decide which was my favourite part of my time there... Mornings by the koi fish pond, which I could access from the room I was put up in. Or the afternoons lazing on the deck chair, watching the starlings take quick dips into the water. Or the evening swims in the infinity pool, with the sun setting into a horizon of palm trees. The rooms were cosy yet spacious, the meals were delicious, and the owners delightful company!"Mathis Retreat: "Love this place!"

This is my first time to Indonesia, and staying at Mesastilla has been the making of my stay. I have loved every part of the experience, and the best part about it all is that they provided me with guided access to so much of the surrounding areas. The real Java. We rode for miles and walked each day, meeting the locals and exploring the villages and mosques. I just loved the staff and especially the hotel manager and my personal trainer/guide. I also did the Java dance lesson and it was fabulous. Aside from all of that the spa rooms were amazing and I slept, ate and relaxed. I only had three days but it felt like longer.
