Tugu Bali: "The Secret Retreat!"

Review by: E D | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is our 2nd stay at Tugu. We enjoyed it so much we couldn't resist another stay. Although it is a little more expensive the Tugu ""offer"" is unique. You can lie in your own private space overlooking the sea without being annoyed by hawkers and just watch the surfers, or lie by the pool in privacy. The perfect getaway. We were fortunate enough to experience the cultural evening which presented us with 3 dances - so amazing and professional - a totally memorable experience. We used the hotel driver to take us to Seminyak on a couple of occasions - he was polite, courteous and perfect in every way. Thank you Tugu - your staff our amazing...well done Jenny. Good luck with the Living Wall construction, we look forward to seeing it in the future."

MesaStila: "Number 1, 2 and 3 on my list…."

Review by: Barbara T | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Breathtaking. Wonderful room with wonderful views. Great staff. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. Not too many guests, which we did not mind. Mother and sister went for a couple of treatments at the spa and were impressed. Brother and I had a 06.30 trailrun with our guide Augus, probably the best morning of our holiday!"

Villa Song Saigon: "Watching the cargo ships go by"

Review by: Lewis H | Source: Trip Advisor
"So it's tops on the list for some good reasons. We arrived late, but the staff was alert and quick to welcome us with a cool watermelon drink after a long drive. The room is comfortable, although the lighting scheme was a bit of a challenge to figure out. The fresh fruit and complementary mini-bar, complete with soy milk, was a very welcome touch. So what happened to the ironing board and iron? I unpacked my clean, but wrinkled shirt hoping to touch it up before church the next day only to discover they did not offer what the competitors did on that front. But maybe complementary ironing of a few articles will be on their offerings soon. Breakfast was a delight and the staff again congenial. We like the location but didn't have the chance to try the complementary river launch service to downtown. Perhaps next time."

Mie Cafe: "Little Oasis with amazing food"

Review by: Jacqui N | Source: Trip Advisor
"The courtyard garden and restaurant is a quiet oasis with its calm gentle atmosphere is a welcome relief from the hustle , bustle and noise of downtown . Aside from that the food is sensational, an Asian fusion dream. We opted for the gourmet menu and the vegan menu which were not only delicious but great value at $28 and $21 dollars respectively. The food was very fresh, tasted delicious and presented well. The vegan baked Aubergine was delicious and both the gourmet chocolate and vegan chocolate desserts were heavenly . Sorry we didn't have a extra night to go again and would really recommend you fit a visit into your time whilst in Seim Reap."

Villa Song: "Bliss"

Review by: annem4son | Source: Trip Advisor
Beautiful boutique hotel on the bank of the Saigon river. Wonderful friendly helpful staff. A stunning oasis of peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet the city is easily accessible via the hotels speedboat. Immaculate clean decor plus the breakfast was first class. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Tranquility with views"

Review by: Jan N | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is more like a guest house and a very nice one at that. Faye and William were very friendly and ensured all our needs were met. Breakfast and lunch are served in the lovely gardens overlooking the natural beauty that surrounds, providing an opportunity to marvel at the Himalayas and K2 on a clear day. Dinner is a lovely experience with a seating plan that provides the guests an opportunity to meet fellow travelers to talk about their experience and each night there is a different regional theme to the meals. The tour of the plantation was very interesting, giving me a new appreciation for what it takes to make tea. This hotel is in the mountains and as such the journey there was long and on very rough roads but the drivers are excellent, knowing every bend. The destination makes it worth the journey.

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Amazing experience"

Review by: Tess B | Source: Trip Advisor
Our first glamping experience and it was amazing! I love how they are eco friendly and surrounded by nature. We loved the private pool and the big tents, they also don't get hot inside as they have the fans and it's really comfortable. Lovely staff, very welcoming :)

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "A First for me"

Review by: trrychlctt1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is the first time I have reviewed any accommodation on any website, but I am moved to do it following a lovely stay at Tiger Mountain. I went there in a poor frame of mind as all my trips to Nepal in the past have been trekking holidays, but this time I was prevented from treking long distances due to injury. My wife and daughter had gone off on the trek leaving me feeling a little grumpy. But it didn't last. Tiger mountain lifted me from the moment I arrived. There is an air of tranquility about the place which is hard to describe, but it is soothing, warming and embracing. All the staff are fantastic. They are attentive but not overbearing. They are helpful and take the time to understand you, and then offer ideas which enhance your stay. I did some lovely walks guided by in-house staff who knew the area and people so well. It just makes the walk so much more enjoyable. I was also carefully steered away from an idea for a walk which I had, which with hind site would have largely been a waste of time, ending up doing a superb replacement instead. This approach to guests runs through the organisation from top to bottom, and also rubs off on the guests. Although traveling alone I couldn't have wished for better company, I had my meals with other guests who were great company and became friends. On top of that Marcus, (the owner), found time to join us and added to some very enjoyable evenings. And what of the accommodation, well the setting is great, my verandah affording terrific views of the Annapurna range, what better way to enjoy that early morning coffee delivered to your door. And inside there are all the ameneties you would wish for, provided in an environmentally thoughtful way. The food is delicious, fresh ingredients and an imaginative chef combine to produce fantastic meals. And I think it is the staff which is Tiger Mountains greatest asset. On talking to them, most have been here for years, some since it opened, and that means visitors benefit from staff who are knowledgeable and work as a team to provide an unparrelled experience. Yes, I did enjoy my stay immensely. A big thank you to Marcus and ALL his staff."

Amata Lanna: "Charming oasis in busy area"

Review by: Karen Y | Source: Trip Advisor
"Already fell in love with this historical building and courtyard at the time I arrived. Very lovely architecture with extremely welcoming staff assisting upon checkin. This boutique hotel has 12 rooms and everyone in the hotel tries to make you feel like home. Rooms and hotel area are spacious, very comfortable and clean. Location is perfect as it is just block away from the Big C supermarket, The night Bazaar, Saturday market and also very convenient access to major spots of Chiang Mai. And yet you don’t feel like being in such a busy area once you walk into the hotel - a great escape from the busy town. If you’re looking for an unique stay in good location, this is a place you would love"
