Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "A ‘must do’ — Incredible food, with a beautiful view."
"This was my first visit to BKK, and I had heard Supanniga was one of the best Thai restaurants in the city and was high on my list. What a wonderful day when we discovered that they offered a Cruise! The cruise itself is very tasteful — comfortable seating, cool music and excellent service. The views were wonderful; it was such a great way to experience the city. But the food! I don’t eat meat, but ate along side meat eaters and I was served a beautiful and flavourful vegetarian menu of home-style Thai food! Completely full to the brim by the end of service, we sat on the pillow-filled lounge at the front of the boat to digest our dinner and soak up the scenery over a few glasses of champagne! Would highly recommend."The Cabochon Hotel: "Urban Bangkok feel — Hit it twice this so far"
"For those seeking to experience the vibe of Bangkok as a psuedo-denizen for a couple of days -- that is, to live/to sleep amid that ordinary urban street mix of local food vendors adjacent to gleaming skyscrapers, [and, with some solid benefits such as a being near a handy supermarket, the Skytrain Phrom Phong stop, a hip juice bar, and a small city park] the Cabochon offers this kind of feel in the Thai metropolis. It's not on the famed river, and it's not super luxury. Rather, it's under-the-radar subtle. Hidden down a small alley from that urban mix, the colonial-era building is a sweet spot -- surrounded by lush foliage and filled inside with Asian collectibles. Venture out into the Bangkok chaos, and return back to the chill of the Cabochon, where the genuinely warm staff will greet you with smiles -- more smiles when you order a couple of rounds of mojitos. Relaxed without anyone in your grill. Clean, more than acceptable, not over-priced. And best, it is super understated."The Island Lodge: "Great place for short vacations 2 hours from Saigon. We enjoyed it for a short stay"
This family owned boutique mini-resort is a well maintained, pleasant, smallish resort which is a good place for families or people who want to experience Mekong Delta or take a short vacation from Saigon. The food was very good, both the French menu and the Vietnamese menu, at the restaurant which has a lounge and bar area and is well integrated with the resort. The children enjoyed the pool, and its kid friendly in general. As a weekend resort destination, is most comparable to An Lam Saigon, and is more premium and much better food than the Ho Tram Beach Boutique Resort and Spa, and much better than the Ho Tram Sanctuary in all ways.Tugu Bali: "Perfect. No choice about it stay here"
The title says it all just go and see for yourself how the quality and service goes above and beyond the price per night at this hotel. Rooms are great and the service was 11/10. "Michael and staff are very kind and went through great detail to take care of my stay in Thailand. Arnold accomodated my taxing to Chaing Mai and was always on time. Excellent villa with a delicious breakfast served. The pool is refreshing and the wonderful classical music being played made my stay so relaxing. I will definitely book there again upon my return. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo"Mume: "A great evening, great tastes & ambience"
This is arguably one of Asia's finest restaurants … the a la carte menu is a fusion, at times I felt like at home in Sydney, at times it went to Scandinavia … The ambience is minimalist, dress code casual (loved that aspect), staff friendly and informative; the food we ordered (and most of it shared) was excellent, top marks to the wagyu tartare and ribeye. I read some negative reviews below … I am guessing people were expecting a Chinese banquet for the price. This is quite a different experience, its all about tasting the food, the fresh ingredients and the innovative. We certainly did not leave the restaurant hungry, quite the opposite. If you are a couple like us, choose different starters and mains and try as many as possible. My only objection is the wine list … for a restaurant of this calibre, they should entertain more wines … especially from NZ, Australia (they would go well with the food).4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Most Amazing Trip of All Time"
"This hidden treasure is amazing. The view was spectacular. I got to experience the life in the nature. The room is very beautiful. The staff and foods are on point. They are very environmental friendly. To save the environment is always their priority. The kayak, the pickup boat the view of the place made me never wanted to leave this wonderful place ever. More than that, they are not just business people, they help the community to be aware of the environmental issue, .... Community saver!"Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Harmony, quality and privacy"
"Our family visited Sea Dance at the end of December 2016. Since the very first moment, we felt very welcome and got a ""home feeling"" in combination with top quality and excellent comfort. The resort is not too big, which gives you feeling of privacy, but as everyone feels so much at ease there, there are plenty of opportunities to chat to other guests and staff members. Accommodation and facilities were perfect. There were always free chairs at the pool and plenty of clean towels. The food was amazing - everything beautifully presented, fresh and healthy and its prices really affordable. We spent a fantastic New Year's evening at Sea Dance - Atom and her band played live music, people danced, sang, ate and drank - it could really not be any better. Towards the end of our stay, we had a medical emergency and Mr Poy, the owner of the resort, took care of it personally, and helped us with everything we needed. We can definitely recommend Sea Dance to anyone, who looks for combination of privacy, quality, relax and entertainment, great food and fun! Stayed December 2016, traveled with family"Glenburn Tea Estate: "Heaven on Earth"
It's a four hour drive from Bagdogra airport and a very bumpy one at that, but the moment you arrive you forget all of that. The tea estate accommodation is amazing. I stayed in the Singalila suite in the bungalow and it was to die for. The interior design was immaculate and the view from my window of Kanchenjunga in the morning heavenly. Food was fantastic. So quiet and peaceful, a great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the cities.Rachamankha: "Oasis in Chaing Mai"
This Ong-ard-designed hotel is a marvelous oasis in this bustling city. The staff is extremely attentive and the restaurant is as good as any in town. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the design continually surprises and pleases you. You can't go wrong staying here
