Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Fantastic Peranakan Experience"
Very beautiful place with a rich history to it. The close-to-Pernankan experience was awesome with a rich architecture and straits born designs! Food was good. Breakfast selection limited but rest assured that it's very tasteful! Service was excellent esp Shiro who made our stay more than wonderful than it already was! I will definitely go back again!Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Superb must stay"
"This resort has all of its priorities straight. It has an Eco/ community based focus and customers are at the heart of everything that is done. We loved every minute of being here as the staff are so considerate and keen to please. The food at the restaurant is fabulous and the rooms are very nicely decorated and restful. The Burmese cat project is fantastic and the shop supports local development projects which sell their high quality products here. We believe this is a really special place to stay and we will remember it for a long time to come. Highly recommended! Stayed April 2016, traveled as a couple"SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "excellent food"
The first time to visit this fine dining of French cuisine and had excellent food and wine and cheese. It is a bit noisy as there is a party at one end . They said since it is raining they had no other place to accommodate them. We must say this is the best french food in the city so far. When the rain is over it will be a nice experience to sit outside on the bank of Inya Lake. Only if they have better music and curtains and drapes to absorb the noise, we will be delighted to enjoy a fine dining.Rachamankha: "Best stay in Chiang Mai"
"This was one of the most peaceful hotels that I have ever stayed in, it feels like a retreat where the soul is nourished away from the everyday hustle and bustle. The architecture, gardens and decor are amazing. In the morning someone comes to cut the grass with a pair of garden scissors instead of a lawnmower so the peace is just never disturbed. We had lovely meals in the restaurant and enjoyed every send of our visit and we will visit Thailand again for the third time just to stay in this hotel again."Rachamankha: "Destination: Another world"
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Architect designed as a labour of love. The inspiration for the buildings has been gleaned from chinese courtyard hotels, roman peristyles, palladian, and 20th century modern. The result - perfection. I immersed myself in the architect's thinking, enjoying an afternoon in the library surrounded by his architecture, art and design books, and enjoying a glass of brandy. Every angle and line in this small boutique complex is simple, harmonious and peaceful. The hotel is hidden behind a series of courtyards, taking you deeper into the private and serene inner sanctum of the hotel. The main courtyard has the rooms leading off either side and at the end, and looks like it may have been built 600 years ago. There is a central "longhouse" style open area where we enjoyed a glass of wine at the end of each day, lounging on the sofas and browsing the art books and the decorative displays. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Nice bathrooms, lovely furniture, modern TV and audio, and more art books :). The pool is beside the main courtyard and behind the library. This pool area is a little more modern, resort hotel in style, but still beautifully designed. The pool is bright and clear, and refreshing. A house at the end of the pool provide towels, and upstairs you can have a massage. There is a restaurant and a boutique at the front of the hotel. There are many cafes, restaurants, sights, and shops within walking distance, the hotel being not far from the wall and close to several temples. A tuk tuk will take you further if it is too far to walk. However, I really didn't want to leave.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Perfect place to rest"
Incredible hotel. Very calm and relaxing. The staff is very very friendly. A shuttle service is provided which a great help to visit ubud, since the road for the hotel is a little bit damaged. I only think that the breakfast could be a little bit better.Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Great accomodation"
"Michael and staff are very kind and went through great detail to take care of my stay in Thailand. Arnold accomodated my taxing to Chaing Mai and was always on time. Excellent villa with a delicious breakfast served. The pool is refreshing and the wonderful classical music being played made my stay so relaxing. I will definitely book there again upon my return. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo"Muang La Resort: "A little paradise in Laos"
"Staying at the Muang La Resort is a pleasure, from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. The bungalows are well kept, clean and beautifully decorated. Little details like welcoming letters, weather information and slippers make you feel a welcome guest. Dinner is a surprise and never disappointing! Lao haute cuisine!! But what really makes the difference is the staff of the resort and I mean the whole staff! From gardeners to managers, everybody is attentive, helpfull and kind. If you plan a trip to the north of Laos, this is definitely a hotel to include in your plans."Tugu Bali: "An amazing experience"
A few days ago my wife and I were fortunate enough to have the absolute pleasure of staying at the amazingly beautiful TUGU HOTEL. We cannot be more complimentary about the facilities, the ambiance and the staff, who themselves left us in awe at their willingness to please us at every opportunity. We dined at the adjoining Ji Restaurant which should be placed on everyone's 'TO DO' list, as dining there is remarkable....the food, the staff, and the cocktails are beyond compare. A truly exhilarating experience and the Balinese Dancers were a cultural 'plus' and one that we are very keen to repeat!David’s Kitchen: "Great food, wonderful host, fantastic experience"
This was a gem. David greeted us when we arrived and appeared genuinely interested in where we came from. Menu offered a broad range of dishes from local Thai to European fare. If you have guests who have different tastes, this is definitely the place to go. Service was personalized and attentive. Food was tasty and absolutely delightful. Great selection of wine and the bartender was accommodating to my partner's request for a specific drink mix. Chill environment amidst the high energy of old Chiang Mai. Reservations highly recommended.
