SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "must visit when in yangon"

My husband and me went for dinner to this amazing restaurant which is so lovingly handled by the chef and his wife. The food is amazing, service top notch and the place itself is so beautiful. I would recommend this over Le planteaur anyday. The food here is tastier and better value for price. They serve a starter plate and salads, tasting desert plate. Attention to details is amazing. Must not miss this when in Yangon.

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Perfect Romantic Getaway"

"We stayed at Sea Dance for 5 nights in a Pool Villa room that was at the front of the property, overlooking the beach. We stayed April - May 2017 as part of our honeymoon vacation. We had a fabulous time at the resort and would highly recommend it. Pros - The resort was very quiet and private, and even with other guests and families, was very quiet. The staff was very personable, friendly, and helpful. They made every effort to make our stay the best. The rooms were very nice, with a large room area, large bathroom and shower, plenty of hot water and refreshing air conditioning. The property is very cute, with each room set up as its own 'cabana' and spread out nicely around the property. It had a very nice beach & relaxing feel, without being to themed. We ate at the restuarant multiple times and tried numerous items that were all delicious - especially the Thai food options.! They provided a happy hour daily, and had live music several times during our stay, which was entertaining without being too loud. While the location was slightly off of the main road (it is down a small side street), we were able to catch local shared taxis (red trucks) to get to other beaches with no problem. There is a 7-11 at the intersection of the main road and side street to Sea Dance for anything you might need to pick up. We also got a massage at the onsite spa our last day, which was wonderful. We didnt know that was available until we arrived. Cons - We found the beach to be a bit more rocky than we expected. Luckily we brought a pair of aqua socks/water shoes and that helped us to still be able to enjoy the beach. It is a good beach for snorkeling or kayaking, but not or swimming. This was fine for us, as other beaches were close by for a day visit, and we were still able to enjoy being by the water. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation and can't thank the staff at Sea Dance enough!"

Inle Princess Resort: "Beautiful relaxing and serene experience"

The resort is built in traditional mynamar style with lots of teak everywhere! We had a garden cottage which looked out on to a lovely large pond covered in water lilies. The cottage itself was beautifully and tastefully furnished, if a little quirky! Being winter, the inbuilt chimena is lit in the evening if wanted. There is also a/c and ceiling fan. The bathroom is well appointed and the cottage also boasts an outdoor shower. Outside are sunloungers, armchairs and a table on a deck. Be aware, there is no TV or music system in the cottage. Occasionally you will hear a gecko or bird but other than that, we could only hear silence. There is a large restaurant serving both Mynamar and western dishes. In my opinion, the food is good but not outstanding. The hotel has a pool but it looked snd my toe told me, it was way too cold to venture in... I'm talking winter here!!! The resort is a perfect place from which to go exploring by long tail boat on Lake Inle. There are many interesting villages and pagodas in their 100s to see and, of course, the obligatory market selling anything and everything. We spent 3 nights here which i reckon is enough.

Inle Princess Resort: "Relaxing resort with great food"

"We stayed here for 2 nights in February and could have stayed a bit longer to explore the area more. This a lovely resort and the lake villa we had was really comfortable, clean with lovely bathroom and great outside shower. The food was great with lots of local dishes on the menu, using fresh produce. Service was excellent and the position of the restaurant just perfect. We organised a half day tour of the lake through the resort and this was certainly a highlight of our visit. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

MesaStila: "An excellent experience!"

"Great hotel with a fantastic staff. The food at the restaurant is very nice and the SPA service has been one of the best experiences of my life. Ideal for couples on honey moon. The coffee tour is recommendable"

Supanniga Eating Room: "A Worthwhile Visit"

"Received a very warm welcome from all the staff while walking up to the third floor. Everyone was smiling which was great. The seating was rather uncomfortable although the food made up for that shortcoming. Excellent quality of Thai food with authentic flavours. Staff were well mannered and efficient given our large group of 10 with 2 children. Also, the Italian red wine we had as a house pouring wine was excellent at the price. An easy drink and memorable too. Would come back again when next in Bangkok."

MAISONS WAT KOR: "Paradisiac"

"A warm and friendly hotel where you feel good, I occupied a room during a couple of days, the room was spacious and comfortable, the gardens were just amazing and the staff was smiling and thoughtful. I warmly recommend The Maisons Wat Kor "

Kenanga Hotel: "Peaceful, relaxing stay"

"The Kenanga is good value for money. Awesome setting overlooking paddy fields, with a resident duck community, beautiful gardens and a great pool area. I ended up staying for an extra night because the place has such a nice, calm, relaxed feel to it. Breakfast is exceptionally good, and the staff are very eager to help/please. Wifi is good (by Bali standards at least). You can borrow bicycles, and there are some pretty cool places nearby to cycle to. There's a shuttle bus to and from town, the centre of which is 3.5km away. It's actually pretty pleasant to walk into town, as it's mostly downhill, but probably a tad too far for most. The last shuttle back to the hotel is rather early at 5.15pm. I planned to eat in the restaurant maybe once and to eat in town the rest of the time, but the food was of such high quality that I ended up eating there each night."

The Hue House: "Nice"

Its really nice place to hang around on weekend. I like the place .the food is delicious with affordable prices. The staff is very attentive towards the guest , good service. I will be back.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Serene getaway with amazing massages, food,hospitality and spaces"

Hi, We spent a weekend at Neeleshwar and we intend to go back. The rooms are well appointed and spacious, the staff was very gracious and genuinely interested in you. The ayurvedic massages are a "must do". The infinity pool and lagoon ride also add to all the gorgeousness of it all. The menu changes everyday. Ideal for people who are stressed our and need a pick-me-up. The beach is pristine and quiet. Fishing trawlers pass by in the distance when you have breakfast. Highly recommend, especially for women travelers .
