Mie Cafe: "Lovely!"

Review by: Travelin'CalGal | Source: Trip Advisor
Elegant, delicious food and lovely ambiance for our dinner. But book early if you have a specific date/time you want to eat, as we had to eat later than we wanted just to get a reservation. So glad we were flexible! A perfect way to end our trip.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Stunning views of Annapurnas"

Review by: CaracasChica | Source: Trip Advisor
"Loved this sanctuary at the foothills of the Annapurnas. The host was Super friendly and had dinner with us our first night. We had a villa just near the restaurant/bar which was quintessentially Nepalese. This is not for Budget travellers as the restaurant is on the expensive side and there's no where else in the immediate vicinity to dine. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"

Summertime Villa: "A slice of heaven"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
"Summertime is an oasis of calm in Goa. The staff is lovely and caring, and the home and grounds are impeccable. All rooms and en suite bathrooms are tastefully decorated and spacious. The infinity pool is amazing and well maintained as are the grounds (our children enjoyed feeding the Koi fish in the pond each morning). For us, the owners made our daughter's birthday so special with their unexpected generosity, including a beautiful birthday cake, decorations and even an age-appropriate present! You'd definitely need a car to get around, as the home isn't really walking distance from any major markets or restaurants, and the approach road is rough. We will book again!"

The Governor’s House: "Warm"

Review by: Chreelong | Source: tripadvisor.com
This hotel was amazing. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best I had while on my vacation. There is a cozy feeling to this place that made me feel like I was right at home.

muang la: "Northern Laos a very special spa resort"

Review by: Theresa S | Source: tripadvison.com
"Situated on a river with hot springs and nestled in beside a small village this Hotel taught us more about high quality cuisine and life in Laos than any other. It was unseasonably cold but with coal fires in buckets (!) at each table and a large fire pit close by we were never cold. Hotwater bottles in the beds, hot thermal tubs on stilts in amongst the trees, a pool on an island, I think you must be getting the picture that this is a pretty special place. From the hotel we visited hill villages and this is a great place to hike from. Picnics, 4x4 vehicles and guides, transfers etc all organised by this hotel. It is a remote part of Laos and therefore very unspoilt. This is a gem of a hotel in such a far away place "

Arumdalu: "Highly Personalised Service, Ecological Balanced Resort, Amazing Experience"

Review by: Hendra T | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is one of the place I wished I could rate more than 5 star. The service is highly personalised and awesome the moment you meet the driver at the airport. The driver made us feel very comfortable and kept us interested for the 1hr or so drive from the airport to the resort. The resort had only 10 villas, a huge private beach with soft white sand. The whole thing seems to be made to enhanced our experiences staying in this resort. Everything in the restaurant taste awesome. The vegetables and salads are picked up fresh from the garden. We had a romantic dinner package outside. Appreciate the staff setting the whole thing up for us for hours. Was a good experience. We took a batik making course, it was very interesting and we get to keep the batik we made :) Being in rainy season, lots of mosquitos, but bearable. The design for the whole place seems to take ecosystem balances in check. No mosquitos in the villa. The most expensive place we have ever booked, but we will definitely be back. The only bad thing is the Internet gets weaker the further we are from the reception and the restaurant, but hey... if you are in this place, you don't need internet and you dont want to use internet. Enjoy what this place and the nature has to offer! Belitung is a paradise, please keep the island that way (don't turn it into a Bali). Every resort in the Beltung should be built like this one... keeping the ecosystem balance in check. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Tugu Bali: "Amazing accommodations"

Review by: cocothumper | Source: Trip Advisor
"We absolutely LOVED Tugu hotel in Canggu. The location is perfect, the service is AMAZING and the food was delicious. The suites are breathtaking, ours came with a fruit basket of local fruit. The bathroom was half outdoors, filled with flowers and was surrounded by a Koi pond with a beautiful ladle to pour water traditionally. We also had a private pool in our back yard which was a tropical paradise. You have amazing options for seating indoors or out when dining, and the complimentary afternoon tea was diving. "

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A unique experiece"

Review by: jennypwinter | Source: Trip Advisor
The Blue Mansion was a wonderful, unexpected experience, a beautifully restored house with a calm and quiet environment. Large comfortable room, good choice of breakfasts and delicious food and good service in the Indigo restaurant. It is well worthwhile doing one of the tours to learn about the fascinating history given by a very entertaining Chinese lady. We found all the staff without exception to be very friendly and helpful, but in particular Shirley (I think that was her name) who gave us lots of advice of where to go and what to do which we did - the street art in Georgetown, markets, restaurants, Penang Hill and Battu Ferringai, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a very different few days, we haven’t stopped talking about theBlue Mansion.

Satri House: "The ideal hotel, faultless in every way"

Review by: jojomartin | Source: Trip Advisor
"We chose Satri House after a bad experience in Chiang Mai and didn't want to take any chances. Our choice was extremely good. Satri House is perfect in almost every way. The architecture, the ambience, the gardens, the stafff all blend into a package that I really cannot fault. There is something so natural, so unassuming and effortless in the professionalism at Satri House that people in every service industry could learn from. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay from three to six nights. We arrived and were welcomed and showed into the charming drawing room, where Giovanni introduced himself. We had a junior suite in House 7, which some people here have said might be somewhat louder than elsewhere, but the hotel is situated in a city after all. It was not a problem; on the contrary, the decor and fittings were extremely tasteful. How great was it not to have a flat-screen TV in a hotel room as the default option! The large four-poster bed was very comfortable, the room had both a fan and air-conditioning. We ate at the restaurant once at Satri House on our first evening and would recommend it. The waiting staff, who double up at the bar, are really friendly and, if you want, keen to practise their English and tell you about Lao culture (Thanks Panyit and Peng!) Breakfast consists or either Western choices (baguette, to-die-for-croissants with homemade pineapple, tomato and tamarind jams, egg dishes) or Lao dishes (noodle soups, rice porridge etc). Again, the staff were extremely attentive and unassuming, watched over by a lady restaurant head who could seemingly converse in every possible language. There are two pools, with each lounger sporting towels and a complementary Panama hat. The centre of Satri House is colonial villa which has been added on to in the same style by the present owner. The small gardens blend in to the buildings, joined by bamboo-lined alleys and stairways, decorated tastefully with colonial furniture and statues of Oriental divinities. It's cleverly executed, making the site seem bigger than it is. An odour of lemongrass lingers in the air, pleasant to human noses and repellent for mosquitoes. Satri House is quite simply the best place I have ever stayed in."
