Tugu Bali: "Heaven"
Our three nights at Hotel Tugu were absolute perfection. The suite, the food, the service & the beautiful gardens could not be faulted. I would go back in heartbeat...or when my credit card bill is paid...whichever comes first.Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic Hotel away from the hustle & bustl"
"We stayed at Villa Song for a few days while we explored Ho Chi Minh City, located out of the centre but a quick taxi ride away, which offers a quite oasis after being in the hustle and bustle. The hotel, accommodation, facilities and staff are exceptional! Can strongly recommend the food as Chef Kevin is a culinary genius. We will be back next time we are visiting Vietnam :)"Inle Princess Resort: "Nature and quiet"
"You have to sail in a small canoe for a few minutes before getting there, it's very quiet and beatiful surrranded by nature. We were there in a cold season so at night they make a fireplace in room which keep youwarm all night long. All villas have a huge window and terrase to look at the lake and rest. There are planty of birds around and night is full of ""singing "" frogs! There are mosquitos not too many, that's normal at lake side! Dinner is served in hotel restaurant and it s veru tasty as the breakfast a'la carte. Going to town for food is nonsense. All staff is doing their best to keep you in good mood. PS. Dear Lauren if you are rude maybe the manager is rude too!"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful historic hotel"
The hotel has been impressively restored with great attention to detail filled with character. Our room (The Mandarin) was spacious, very clean and airy with a large luxurious bathroom. We enjoyed having breakfast in the open courtyard surrounded by green plants and antiques. The children loved the pool. This place was perfect for our young family. We would definitely love to return!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A Wonderful Experience"
We stayed here recently for 3 nights at the end of a month long tour of Vietnam and Cambodia.Everything about it was fantastic. The location, the wonderful luxurious tents, the food, the friendly helpful service by all of the staff, the excursions...it was all magical. We did the early morning jungle trek and the boat trip to a remote village and kayaking in the mangroves. Our guide was so helpful and interesting (sorry can't remember his name) and it was lovely to see his family waving from their home just over the river. We also took kayaks (my first ever venture) and crossed the river to visit the local village. We were greeted by one of the families, given a tour around by foot to some of the villagers homes and they went out of their way to get fresh coconuts down for us to drink. The whole setting is wonderful and was such a relaxing treat after such a hectic holiday. We would thoroughly recommend 4 Rivers, we only wish we could returnNeeleshwar Hermitage: "Indian Paradise"
"We spent 4 days at neeleshwar hermitage and everything was perfect. The service is amazing with nice and ever smiling staff. The beach restaurant is incredible: picture a few table scattered below coconut trees and looking out on the Indian ocean. Food is fresh, delicate and flavourful. Special mention for the breakfast that combines all the above. Difficult to imagine what could be improved!"Slow Villas and Spa: "Design und Gastfreundschaft"
"Hotel Tugu surprised us! Canguu has gotten busier and built up but you step inside Hotel Tugu and it is like stepping into an oasis back in time. The rich artwork everywhere you turn is a photographers dream! The hotel is more than happy to give you a tour for free and I highly recommend it. Hearing the history behind each art piece and painting makes the experience that much richer. The rooms are like staying in an old wood Balinese villa. If you are looking for a modern Marriott, than this hotel would not be for you (and you would be missing out on a one of a kind experience), Lots of character and amazing views. The service is great! You can eat anywhere on the property at any time. I highly recommend you check out all the nooks and crannies. There are many more dining spots than you may think at first blush. They also have numerous one of a kind specialty drinks that do not disappoint. The Japanese restaurant is a reconstructed ancient Chinese temple. Good sushi and better pictures so bring your camera to dinner!"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing hotel"
We spent 3 nights here at the beginning of August and the whole experience was fantastic. The tents are incredible and I love the fact there are no TVs or ACs. The staff were excellent, and really went above and beyond. The location is stunning and we really enjoyed the trip to the waterfall and kayaking around. I would definitely go back in a heartbeatSupanniga Home: "A sanctuary in rural setting"
Suppanniga Home is a private estate which has been converted to a bed and breakfast in a rural setting in Khon Kaen. It is a lovely little place with beautiful landscape and you will experience a slow and relaxing life of Isan. The room is comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is cooked to order and delivered to your villa. The staff are friendly but I must say not most efficient. There is room for improvement in service. Among many amenities in the room, I appreciated an in-room Nespresso machine. You can have a nice Thai lunch ordered to your room or served in outdoor dining area. The hotel is a bit pricey but it is worth a try.
