Reverie Siam Pai: "A distinguished retreat amongst the charm of Pai"
"An excellently laid out design and interior, which evokes an aristocratic air of elegance. A few friends and I came here mid afternoon after a little sightseeing and were treated with great care and attention by the staff. After feasting over a few shared Chef and Mediterranean Vegetable boards, we all left in the highest of spirits."Villa Song Saigon: "Charming old French Colonial property"
"We loved staying here despite the lack of a lift! Our room at the top was large and comfortable with views over the Saigon river and of the dining courtyard below where we loved to eat. The service was impeccable and then we found the pool! It was so pretty and tranquil and just the place after a hectic morning's sightseeing. Altogether a delightful and peaceful place to stay. Room Tip: Lovely rooms at the top but quite a climb!"David’s Kitchen: "Six star restaurant"
"David's Kitchen goes the extra mile plus a dozen miles more. Truly amazing experience from the moment we entered and met David and all the wonderful staff. Being seated at a table with a personalised greeting card and receiving a rose to celebrate your date night are just a few of the things that David's Kitchen do to make your evening truly fantastic and memorable. It's a beautiful place, fancy yet easy going. The staff are meticulously well trained - so professional yet so warm and friendly, just like a big family. And the food is just as wonderful! The veloute of yellow Japanese pumpkin soup was the best we've ever tasted. The duck breast was cooked to perfection and served with the finest mash. Totally recommend the sticky toffee pudding, made with love by David's wife Prom who's the pastry chef in charge of all the desserts. Great wine list at reasonable prices too. Whether you're a foodie or not, this gem is not to be missed. It'll make your time in Chiang Mai that extra bit special."Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Feel like home place"
"We staid for 2 nights at Maisons Wat Kor with our family and friends and everyone loved their stay. Rooms are good size, very tastefully decorated and clean, the garden is really big and relaxing to walk around. There is a connecting room for families with the kids! The kids loved the pool and little bungalow overlooking lotus pond where they could relax and play. The staff were always helpful and organized trips to town if we wished to do so. Though it was nice just to hang around the place. We also had Spa treatments on request. The restaurant is also a lovely place to eat in the evening. We enjoyed local cuisine and had nice evenings together. The breakfast are included and are also very good. Highly recommended for family trips, romantic stay or just relaxing weekend with friends "Tugu Bali: "Traditional Indonesian colonial style hotel with interesting antique collection"
"Cangu is the new up and coming area in Bali. Now that Seminyak is getting too crowded Cangu starts developing. The Tugu hotel was visionary when it got build 20 years ago. It was the first hotel to set up shop in Cangu and it has a location right at the beach. It is a not a modern style hotel, but a classic Indonesian style hotel build like a colonial building with hardwood flooring and a dark wooden interior. Everything from the light switches to the taps in the bathroom is old looking. I doubt there is any other hotel in Bali that comes close in colonial looks and feel. Room 206 we stayed in was part of a house, which had inside and outside areas. We stayed at the top floor which had views over the garden towards the beach. Below us was room 106 which would not have these views. There were also amazing views of the lotus flower filled pond which had wooden walkways crossing it to link to the honeymoon suite. When we entered we were amazed about the huge open space entrance hall which had a huge wooden statue of a Garuda bird. The hotel is full of Indonesian antiques, with the owner collecting these over his lifetime and displaying them in his hotels. The service in this hotel is excellent with the Balinese people being ever so friendly to assist you. The hotel also has a large grass area which connects to the beach. It is full of statues, beds to chill out on, and at night it is beautifully candle lit with hundreds of candles. This is the perfect place to chill out and watch the sunset. In the mornings you can eat breakfast here as well and this is something I would certainly recommend. The hotel has 2 restaurants, one doing good Indonesian fare. You can also do an Indonesian style cooking class which we did. They have also recently opened the Ji restaurant, a Japanese restaurant which is located in a 300 year old Chinese building which was dismantled in Java and shipped to Bali. They do excellent sushi here, which not many places in Bali do. There is no kids menu here but they can order food from the Indonesian restaurant which does have a kids menu. Outside there is a decent size pool which has a part that is 2 foot deep, excellent for smaller children, and a 5 foot deep area. There is no barriers between these areas, so keep minding the small ones. This is a hotel is OK for children, there is no kids club here and the pool is not necessarily suited for really small children. You go to this hotel to feel part of Indonesia's history. It has been done exceptionally well. I would say go sooner rather than later before Cangu gets fully build up. We noticed a hotel being build right on the back of this hotel, planning rules in Bali are almost non existent. The Tugu was building a large net for climbing plants to provide the necessary privacy."Manukan Island Resort: "Paradise"
"This property is absolutely beautiful and it's the only property on Manukan Island. There's a private beach area for guests and a public beach area for day guests. Once I stepped off of the ferry and walked along the boardwalk towards reception, I immediately felt at ease. I spent a lot of time at the reception area because it was the only place where I could access the wifi. Everyone was absolutely pleasant, extremely kind and helpful. The suite is my favorite part and I couldn't believe how spacious the suite was for little 'ol me. I recorded a walking tour of the room because I was in shock by how beautiful the views were and how much space was allotted. Breakfast was amazing because the options were endless including traditional Malaysian dishes, a juice bar, an omelette and soup station, etc. The food options for lunch and dinner were also great. My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer but I certainly hope I can come back. Everyone that I met was a gem, the space was beautiful, the food and drinks were also great. <3"David’s Kitchen: "Dinner"
Probably the best in Chang Mai. A wonderful dining ecperience. Booking is a must.i have Been many times and never disappointed. All the staff are pleasant and obliging.Samanea Beach Resort: "Great Resort"
"Loved staying here and the rooms were amazing. The staff were very friendly and were always there to help when needed. I traveled with my 2 daughters aged 3 and 6 and the staff were very accomodating to their needs and made sure they were well looked after as well. The rooms were spotless and the outdoor shower / bath was amazing. Would recommend to stay here and we will be going back for sure."Tugu Malang: "The most incredible place"
"We stayed here for 1 night and had the best experience! The food was delicious, service was impeccable, the room was spacious, clean, beautiful! I had to attend a business dinner and the hotel had kindly assisted me with ironing and pressing my clothes at such short notice and on time. If you are after a 5 star authentic cultural experience in Malang, this hotel delivers it on point and more. Stayed March 2017, traveled on business"Tugu Lombok: "Very Polite Staff and Excellence Service"
Hotel Tugu Lombok is located near Bangsal port (port from Lombok island to Gili islands). Firstly, I came to hotel just for asking their room rates since I already knew their famous unique hotel in Malang. Surprisingly, their staffs are very polite and informative giving explanation about their room types and also the rate. They also let me and my family to walk around hotel and saw several rooms. Finally we took a rest in their restaurant while enjoying some fresh juices and pizza. Although we didn't stay for this moment, but I will recommend this hotel for their excellence service, friendliness and polite staffs.
