Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Third visit to this oasis in the Kerala"
This is an eco hotel that doesn't stint on luxury. Just a dozen or so authentic Keralan bungalows in a coconut grove by the sea. Staff outnumber the guests and deliver first class unobtrusive service. Comfortable roomy beds with high quality bed linen. Exquisite food in both restaurants. Yards from the sea where dolphins swim and locals fish. All staff are dedicated to making sure you are happy with everything. Won't pick out any one as they all deserve a mention. Very good spa also. We will be back again next year!!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A beautiful place, not to be missed"
I was really looking forward to our stay at 4 Rivers Floating Lodge, and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were so welcoming, the tents immaculate and the food superb. We were lucky in that it was very quiet when we visited, but it was also rather wet! However, the service more than made up for the weather and, as I have already said, the food was excellent. The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Lovely Boutique Hotel — Very Well Located"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cabochon over Christmas. The hotel is small and styled in the old colonial manner. It's located in a retail/residential area of Sukhumvit Road and is set back a bit from the main road, so was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent -- both buffet and hot menu items are offered. We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening and the food/service there was excellent as well. Reservations for the restaurant are recommended if you're there during a busy time -- it appeared a number of the other diners came from outside the hotel. All emails setting up the initial reservation were answered promptly and thoroughly, and the car from the airport to the Cabochon, arranged with the hotel prior, was there waiting for us -- even though we ended up being delayed several hours. The car is worthwhile if you're arriving in the middle of the night, as we did. If you arrive during regular hours, you can take the train to the Phrom Phong stop, which is an easy 5 to 10 minute walk straight to the hotel. If you take the train from the airport, you would need to make one change, and carry bags up/down stairs at some point. We had a top floor room which was spacious and clean. Bottled water was provided daily, which was appreciated. The rooftop pool was small but lovely, with a beautiful view over parts of the city. The easy walk from the hotel to the sky train stop was very convenient as the sky train takes you all over, including to the stop for the Chao Phraya tourist boat, which in turn takes you all along the river to the beautiful temples, Chinatown, etc. All the hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Our only small suggestion would be to increase the wattage in the rooms -- the lighting was pretty dim and a little extra light in the evening would be helpful. We would love to return to the Cabochon on a return visit to Thailand, and would recommend it for both families and couples."Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic Hotel away from the hustle & bustl"
"We stayed at Villa Song for a few days while we explored Ho Chi Minh City, located out of the centre but a quick taxi ride away, which offers a quite oasis after being in the hustle and bustle. The hotel, accommodation, facilities and staff are exceptional! Can strongly recommend the food as Chef Kevin is a culinary genius. We will be back next time we are visiting Vietnam :)"The Hue House: "Áwesome dining experience"
super delicious foods, beautiful rooftop settings, lovely attentive staff... a wonderful luncheon experience... Will definitely be back!Heritage Suites Hotel: "Beautiful hotel in Siem Reap"
"What a beautiful Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap ! Great architecture, with an amazing swimming-pool and a beautiful spa managed by Bodia, a well known brand in Cambodia. Rooms are hudge, beautful and very well equipped. Smiling and efficient service, great food and a beautiful bar. What else could you ask for ??? Maybe a pick-up by a vintage car ? They do that also! Thanks to all the team"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Perfect for relaxing break"
Stayed two nights at the floating lodge 25-27th August. The staff are very helpful and the tents are luxurious. There is nothing better than to wake up in the morning to the sunshine and the river just outside. Great after the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh.Villa Song Saigon: "What a surprise"
"I spend at least 1/4 of the year on the road and have had my share of good and bad hotels. So I'm a real freak for a comfortable bed, convenience and efficiency when I'm travelling on business. I'm on the go early (4:30am) and need to be able to print, scan, etc and have really good wifi. So it was with trepidation that I booked a stay at last minute with Villa Song. Well, it did not disappoint. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful with everything. The room was very open and comfortable, everything I needed, even for business. The all day breakfast was great as was the food at the restaurant. My only gripe could possibly be the instant coffee packets (for sweet cold coffee I think) in the room - I would have expected something better, may be a small French press. But it worked until the restaurant opened at 6:30 with a real espresso. The location was great, approx 45 min drive through the city from the airport, but at 5am on departure it took less than 25 minutes without traffic. And that business centre for printing? no issue. The staff happily did this at the front desk. They organised a driver who spoke good English for my appointments, and were of great help with suggestions. Always smiling. I look forward to coming back again soon."SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Oasis in the middle of busy Yangon"
A stunning place in the heart of Yangon, with an impecable view towards the Inya Lake. The food is just perfection and the hosts are really nice. The only thing I could criticize would be that the table is a little bit dark.Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Delightful"
Very fresh produce, a focus on flavours and great flair. We loved it, and we will be back, thank you!
