"Good location，around 15mins drive from airport, 2 mins walk to Maenam Beach and 5 to 10 mins walk to shops. Yet, quiet and private in the resort. The villas are tastefully decorated, beautiful paintings inside n outside, full kitchen, good coffee maker, nice European furintures with swimming pool. Staffs are very attentive n good service. "AMAZING! this is the feeling when you are on the beautiful Sekonyer Boat by Wow Borneo. In the middle of the jungle, with its humidity, light, sounds, colors, yet you feel comfortable on the boat, pampered by the crew... from food, to attentions ... and their eyes are so used to spot any animals that we managed to see orangutans, crocodiles, many birds and moneys, irrawaddy dolphins..."Chakrabongse Villas: "Very helpful staff"
Stayed for 4 nights last month & enjoyed it immensely. The location could not be bettered if you are interested in visiting the old city. We found our room rather small but beautifully presented. Tea & coffee was available on the landing outside the room. Having breakfast overlooking the river was a very memorable experiance. The staff were very helpful in pointing out things to see & sorted out taxis & trips for us. Would definitely stay again but in a suite if one was available.Anopura: "Juste ouahhh"
"Magnifique endroit, décoré avec goûts. On se sent Maharadja ou Maharani lorsqu'on passe les portes de cet endroit niché dans les montagnes. Réchauffé le soir par un feu, au bord de la piscine. Remplie de charme et un personnel professionnel, à l'écoute de nos moindres attentes. Accompagné de 3 mousquetaires, le jardin était notre havre de paix. Impossible de décrire notre ressenti, UN GRAND MERCI A ISHWAR et son collègue qui ont été des hôtes agréables. Il faut savoir également que l'hotel est à 1h du centre de jaipur mais faisable. We heard about how wonderful Pai in rainy season. First, we have no idea about recommendation then coffee shop at Pai suggest us to visit here once. When we came in the staff very kind and sincerely. "We had the Green Room which was large enough to accommodate a couple with an adult daughter. It also had a large porch over looking the pool in a beautiful walled garden. It was a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap but close enough to town for an easy visit. The room is authentic looking with beautiful art, comfortable beds and terrific large bathroom. The staff is amazing! They took such good care of us from arranging tours, restaurants, spa services (try the blind therapist shiatsu massage) and tuk tuks to town. Breakfast is included with terrific fruit and juices. I love the Cambodian fried rice with egg on top. We ate lunch and dinner there most nights as well. Made our way through the menu and loved everything we tried. 4 nights was the perfect amount of time to relax and to see the temples. Room Tip: There are only 6 rooms in the property. This is my second stay at Satri House, the most beautiful hotel in and around Luang Prabang. With lovely gardens and passages that open onto lily ponds and out of the way pavilions, the colonial French buildings, rooms and hallways are filled with Buddhist statues and Chinese porcelain. My room had a deliciously comfortable king bed all the hot water you need and was kept spotless and fragrant by the wonderful hotel staff who serve excellent breakfasts (my favorite: rice noodle soup with pork), delicious luncheon salads by the pool and surprisingly good French dinners served with drinkable wine at the right temperature! This is the place to stay if you're going to the fantastic Luang Prabang Film Festival in early December or want to avoid the tourist crowds in the Old Town, just 15 minutes away on foot or 5 if you borrow a bike from the hotel. This is where I'll be staying with my friends during the LPFF in 2017. Satri House is a wonderful hotel, one of my favorites in Southeast Asia.Reverie Siam: "Fabulous honeymoon stay"
My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. The hotel has been opened less than a year and feels immaculate. There are so many positives about this place. The design of the hotel and gardens, the very conscientious staff that make you feel special, the high quality finish of the rooms and the superb breakfasts. The hotel is not crowded and so the swimming pool area is very private we often had the pool entirely to ourselves. A nice touch was a free glass of wine or bubbly during some of our evening meals. There was live music on 3 nights of the five we stayed which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic chef board one evening in the restaurant which was delicious. The only thing that would make this hotel even better would perhaps be spa or massage treatments. There aren't fantastic spas in the area and as the hotel has such pretty gardens that would have been lovely. A wonderful hotel, stay here you won't regret it!
