4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Was beyond anything I couldve hoped for"
Of the many places I have stayed I have never come across such helpful, friendly staff who are always smiling. The owner has picked some great people to work here. The accomodation is amazing. The location is beyond amazing. While we stayed it was my partners 30th birthday and the team arranged a fantastic private dinner. They even baked a cake! They went above and beyond. The food is great, the cocktails are delicious and the excursions are awesome if you can bring yourself to leave the lodge. I cannot recommend this place enough, go!MesaStila: "Beautiful jungle retreat with excellent service"
" came on a group retreat so my experience might not be the same as a general tourist, but had the most lovely stay with such friendly, attentive and thorough service. Our every need was catered for with such politeness and efficiency. We were in a big group with multiple events throughout our stay and complex logistical needs, and everything was made so easy thanks to the staff. The rooms themselves are very traditional and rustic, but beautifully fitted out. I had a huge four poster bed with a glorious bathroom complete with a big stone bathtub (and fresh rose petals everyday). The property is HUGE and is absolutely beautiful to explore - so much greenery, beautiful mountain views, a stunning infinite pool and comfortable common areas. The wifi is fairly reliable which was quite important for us - it would fall out every now and then but not take long to reconnect. The food on offer was traditional - quite a lot of options and always delicious. My only comment would be that it was generally quite flavoursome and heavy - there were generally options for dietary intolerances but in terms of plain ""clean eating"" it was a bit harder. Similarly, the place has gym facilities but they are very basic. Although when you come to MesaStila there is enough other physical activity to do without equipment - just go for a hike around the property! It's about 2 hours from the airport which was quite a trek, but the seclusion makes it worth it. About an hour from Borobudur but easy to organise transport through the hotel. Would definitely recommend a stay for a secluded, relaxing, retreat style holiday. The one thing that would be worth noting in advance - it is a Muslim area with many mosques surrounding it and at prayer times very early in the morning and again in the evening chanting can be heard quite loudly through amplified speakers. I didn't wake up to it overnight, but a lighter sleeper might need to invest in earplugs. It's part of the cultural immersion though, so we quite enjoyed it."Tugu Lombok: "A slice of tropical paradise"
"In a 3-week adventure around Bali and Lombok, the Tugu Lombok was our absolute favourite place that we stayed, hands down. The resort is stunning, the grounds are impeccable, the rooms are extraordinarily beautiful. The beach is white sand and turquoise waters. Every meal we ate (in both restaurants) was absolutely delicious. The breakfast spread is fantastic (with a particularly amazing fruit plate) and the assortment of snorkelling equipment, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards is a great way to pass afternoons on the water. Things are laid out so that you never feel crowded. But by far the best thing about Tugu Lombok is the staff. Everyone, from Sharon, the GM, and Henry, her right hand man, to the spectacular restaurant staff, spa team, housekeeping staff, and security, were the epitome of hospitality. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and polite, and everything they do is heartfelt and done with a smile. They anticipated our every need before we even expressed them and made us feel enormously welcome during our entire stay. We can't recommend this spot enough to anyone travelling to Lombok (and even if you're not, you might want to change your plans to include the Tugu). One small note on rooms - we had read through previous TripAdvisor reviews and decided to take the overwhelmingly consistent advice to splurge on a Bhagavat Gita suite and we were completely blown away by the beauty and design of these extraordinary villas. "Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Fantastic! A must to be here…"
This camp is one of my best experience during my journey in Sri Lanka. I can really recommend this place. Everything is very good organized, everyone from staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic! Best food ever in whole Sri Lanka. Price is absolute justified. Safari trip was very nice too, staff is very competent, even on safari are drinks and snacks organised!Reverie Siam: "Beautiful oasis"
"My husband and I have lived in South East Asia for over three years. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many boutique hotels. Seldom have we seen one this beautiful. It is very hard to improve on the reviews that have already been written about this place. We drove up the mountain out of Chang Mai and came to Pai for a little business. While there is not much to do here, this hotel would provide an awesome quiet rest. The grounds are stunning, the service was excellent, the food was amazing and quite unusual for this part of the country. Our room was lovely all the extra amenities here were very thoughtful. It is the most pricey hotel in this area but not unreasonable by Western standards. The (tuk Tuk) service to town every evening was a nice touch. Would highly highly recommend this place – you would not be disappointed. Wish we could take this place home with us- Cambodia. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Malang: "Magic!"
Everything is excellent: staff, the restaurant (great menu) , rooms, afternoon tea, the decors, ... The staff will give you all sort of info and great advice. Don't forget to visit the Bakery next door: Roti Tugu. Highly recommended! One tip: book your table for dinner.Le Passe-Temps: "Back to human values"
"This place is just a little paradise in a busy life time. The hosts are sinceres, human, warm, smiling and dedicated. Their team is their mirror, they make you feel home without being intrusive. A large choice of activities and amenities are offered, you can enjoy the time passes on the beach with book and drink, or a trip in their private boat..... At night you can drink fantastic cocktails and meet your neighbours to share your life, book, movie, emotional experiences. In the ""Passe temps"" the best human behaviors can be rediscovered!"Villa Mathis: "GEM IN PARADISE"
Everything from team reception, through spa trials, surounding gardens, restaurants, was a dream. Coctails weere impressive and delicious, food once for lunch and onece for dinner was outstanding. The decoration is amazing and comfortable, very cozy at same time. Pity being on biz trip that I dint have much more time to enjoy full relaxation apart from a candle treatment which was very cool and efficiently relaxing at the spa. I'll be backManda De Laos: "Unbedingt empfehlenswert"
"Ein herrliches Ambiente mitten in der Stadt. Wunderschöne Gartenanlage mit von der UNESCO klassifizierten Seerosenteichen. Hervorragende laotische Küche, die Menüs bieten einen gute Auswahl verschiedener typischer Gerichte. Alles frisch zubereitet und hervorragende Qualität. Die Preise sind gehoben, aber angemessen. Personal sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und professionell. "Maison Polanka: "EXCEPTIONAL HAVEN IN SEAM REAP CAMBODIA"
"My reply to the owner asking me about our stay ""Nathalie, we loved your maison from the instance that we entered the gatehouse until the moment that we looked back on the beautiful gardens as we departed for the airport. There was not an instance that disappointed and please let all of your team at Maison Polanka know that we appreciate the style and competence that they provided us during our stay. Thank you Thank you."" Maison Polanka is boutique with just 5 rooms in a walled garden setting. It is not for the budget conscious traveller and it is not expensive for the value provided. Room Tip: All 5 rooms are great and the gardens are so beautiful that I would be happy to stay in my tent ther..."
