Amata Lanna: "Boutique Oasis"

Review by: BertieK_11 | Source: Trip Advisor
"A small boutique hotel to the north of Chiang Mai near to the river Ping, a local temple and a short walk from the night bizarre. Consisting of only 12 rooms it is a refreshing retreat from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. It also has its own small pool and wifi. The building is traditional in style with large rooms with four poster beds and big chunky wooden doors. This all just adds to the charm of the place. The rooms come with shower and jacuzzi bath which was a real bonus!! The staff are extremely helpful and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast is very good with a choice of freshly cooked hot food or cold fresh fruit. Overall Amata Lanna exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Chiang Mai!!"

Dewakan: "Fine dining with lots of local flavours, something really different"

Review by: Crystalism | Source: Trip Advisor
"Inexpensive ingredients but the amount of effort put in to make it look so fine. Worth the dining experience. Unlike the usual Western style where you get rosemary / fennel / thyme, we get typical ingredients that can be found in Asian dishes, eg. cumin, ulam, green curry paste, local flowers. The 5 courses lasted from 8pm till midnight and staffs were already tired by then. It was so obvious we could tell it from their expressions and all. Well I feel bad for making them stay up, but then again, we don't decide when the dishes should come out so..... either buck up on serving time or.... improve on being professional even if it's till late. Don't get me wrong about service, they are pretty good in that, taking extra time to explain to us, repeating when we were a little too chatty about it. They are nice people, students learning I believe. Maybe it's better to be there earlier so it could end by 11."

MesaStila: "Amazing!"

Review by: Martedal | Source: Trip Advisor
We just spend 4 wonderful nights at MesaStila! The good experience already started when we were picked up at the airport - our flight was delayed quiet a lot but the chauffeur was still there waiting for us with cold drinks, snacks and cold wet towels just What we needed. He also arrange for us that pizza was awaiting us when we arrived at then hotel as it would be very late before we arrived . We stayed in the family vila and it was really nice. It was spacious and with a wonderful bathroom (big golden tub) and with a huge balcony with the most amazing view. The hotel was so clean and all the surrounding at the hotel was just stunning. The staff was extremely helpful and also the food and spa was great. We also booked the combined temple sunrise tour with the hotel and that was also really good! Can only give my highest recommendation to this wonderful place!

Villa Mathis: "Magnifique et magique"

Review by: Jerome J | Source: Trip Advisor

Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song"

We really loved this hotel, the location, the staff, the rooms and the food were all fantastic. The regular boat shuttle to the centre of the city along the river was also a real plus. Great stay, would go back and would recommend it to anyone.

Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Best in Mrauk-U"

Review by: Daniel M | Source: Trip Advisor
"Excellent rustic hotel in Mrauk U. The hotel has its own jetty that takes about 4:30 hours from Sittwe airport. Sunrise breakfast charge 150 for 5 people to watch the sunrise in the the mountain and have breakfast there. Bicycles are available for rent for $5 for full day and $3 for half day. The pool in the middle of the lotus flower lake is great but the water is cold. Breakfast is included; for other meals the restaurant has a vast menu priced in USD. Can't go wrong with the curry, coconut rice (not found on the menu) and the lentil soup . The Internet rarely works but then again who cares when you are immersed in history. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"

Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Refreshing surprise"

Review by: Lune14 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I spent only a few hours in this hotel, having spent the day on a long tour of the Mekong and leaving quite early the morning after. I was the only person in the tour to stay in this hotel, thanks to my travel agent, and can't describe how happy I was to get here extremely tired and find this gem. What was so good? A friendly reception, a quaint room with a separate sitting area, a nice shower, and a prime location overlooking the river promenade. Lots of locals walking in the promenade at night and the nearby restaurants and cafes, but it wont be noisy when you go to sleep as it quiets down. I had a very good night sleep here. In line with the French owners, this hotel has a great rooftop restaurant serving both French and local cuisine. After 2 weeks of purely local food Was happy to enjoy some familiar french dishes. A la carte breakfast was also great, and thank God there was real orange juice! When you do this tour you hardly ever stay in the city, as early next morning you go to the floating markets (a good experience, but nothing special). I wish I could have stayed here longer or maybe another night. This hotel was on oasis!"

Reverie Siam: "Pure indulgence"

Review by: andyshez | Source: tripadvisor.com
"My wife and I absolutely lover our stay here. I would go as far to stay it is the nicest hotel/resort we have ever stayed in. We chose the villa with your own private hot tub looking out over the gardens - highly recommended! The pool areas are gorgeous and peaceful. The food is all top class... Highlights for me were the coconut waffles for lunch and the meat tapas board for a late lunch. Also live music every night was a nice touch when enjoying dinner and wine. We hired a motorbike but the hotel have a free shuttle to take you in and out of Pai. Thanks to all the staff for welcoming us, we had a great time :) "

Villa Song: "A must stay"

Review by: helenfeest | Source: Trip Advisor
Welcomed warmly upon arrival after a long flight from the UK. Arrived early and offered a complimentary breakfast whilst waiting for our room to be made ready along with shower facilities to freshen up. We had a lovely room overlooking the river, the bed was divine as was everything actually. The staff could not have been more helpful, we were booked in originally for 2 nights but extended to 3 as we had such a lovely time. A salt water pool at bath temperature, complimentary speed boat shuttle into District 1, fabulous breakfast menu and located in an oasis of calm in the madness that is Ho Chi Minh City. We highly recommend staying here in this beautiful Villa Hotel. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who made our stay so enjoyable. It was greatly appreciated and we will certainly be telling all of our friends about you.

Rachamankha: "a superb accommodation in CM"

Review by: mametank0129 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We held our wedding and stayed at this beautiful property last month. We have booked two suite rooms facing the library garden (if you know where the hidden library is) and a few superior rooms. Our family and guests loved the peaceful and oriental ambience of the property. Located in the old city, waling distance to Wat Pra Singh, Oasis Spa Lanna and Sunday night market. only 10-15mins drive to the airport. If you would like to stay away heavy touristy area and would like to enjoy the resort indulgence and retreat, this could be an option. If anyone is also considering a destination wedding at non-beach location in Thailand, highly recommended!! The hotel does not offer a package but will customise according to your needs and preference. We would like to thank you for Rachamankha to have made our big day successful and memorable! We would love to visit and stay on our anniversary day again! Please note that the hotel does not allow a child under 12 years though. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
