Jing’s Residence: "Historical Treat in the old town of Pinyao"
"As soon as we stepped in the door we knew that this was going to be a wonderful experience. Imam the Manager gave us a warm welcome. Every room is unique and in traditional style set around numerous courtyards with wonderful decorative detail. Breakfast is waitress served by professional staff at all levels. There is a menu with a wide range of choices. Afternoon tea is served with a selection of treats. Attention to detail is given and nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful stay and a wonderful memory of Pingyao."Villa Song Saigon: "This place is amazing"
"We have chosen this place thanks to TripAdvisor reviews and we were not sorry at all. It´s an old French villa next to Saigon river converted in a boutique hotel. The place is very relaxing, the staff is wonderfull and very friendly, the food is very good. They have a pier in front of the hotel and a speed boat that takes guests to Ho Chi Minh city several times a day. I highly recommend this place. It´s not the cheapest place in Ho Chi Minh, but it´s worth every $. Stayed April 2016"Maisons Wat Kor: "Lovely Small Hotel set in Lush Tropical Garden"
"Hotel Wat Maisons is made up of three Khmer style houses with 12 bedrooms, set in grounds of lush tropical vegetation. The rooms are lovely and old-fashioned with dark wood furniture and feel very comfortable. The swimming pool is a good size and due to the small size of the hotel we had it to ourselves most of the time. There are comfortable sunbeds to lie on and admire the banana and frangipani trees. The restaurant has wifi but otherwise fits with the traditional colonial style. Dinner is a set menu each night, although the kitchen will serve western style dishes for those who do not want Khmer style cooking. The set menu we had consisted of five courses, was absolutely delicious and we felt it good value for $12 per head. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The hotel has a laid back style and, in keeping with this, breakfast is a leisurely affair - make sure you allow plenty of time before you are due to leave. All in all, this was a special place to stay and we really enjoyed our two nights here."The River Resort: "Wunderschön"
Rachamankha: "excellent restaurant and hotel"
Great food and excellent service. They do good Thai, and Northern food, as well as some Western dishes. The staff are friendly and their service , excellent . Good wine, Beautiful furniture and great collection of art and antiques. We repeatedly keep going there. Never disappoints.THE SAMAR: "Back Home"
"Always a great feeling to go back to a place I like. The staff make me feel ""home"" as this is the 3rd time I stay here. Little attentions, smiles.. and this familiar atmosphere, the beautiful dark swimming pool. I travel quite a lot for both work and pleasure, and it is great to have ""harbors"" around, to rest, feel comfortable, recharge... The Samar is one of my harbors. Thanks to all of you!"Locavore: "Birthday dinner"
Me and my wife loved the experience there and just how creative they were with the menu! Recommend it for a special eveningThe Apsara Rive Droite: "Understated comfort in Luang Prabang"
"Upon arrival at The Apsara, we were met by a very welcoming and gracious staff. And in fact, throughout our stay, they attended to all of our needs and were always very nice and friendly. The hotel itself is located just off the main street in Luang Prabang, on the banks of the Khan River. The location is perfect; just of few shorts blocks from the main downtown area and night market, but on a very quiet one-way street. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and very clean, with a colonial feel to them. However one word of warning: make sure you book a top-floor room. Our hardwood floors squeaked when we walked on them and I felt sorry for the guests in the room below ours. We only ate breakfast at the hotel (and it was always delicious), so I cannot comment on the dinners or other meals the hotel offered. Overall, we loved our stay at The Apsara and I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Luang Prabang. Room Tip: Hardwood floors, make sure you book a top floor room"Inle Princess Resort: "Just Wonderful"
"This is an absolute gem on Inle Lake. It's in a very quiet part of the lake with a beautiful inlet full of lotus plants. We stayed in a lake front room which was worth the extra cost. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms have twin sinks and an outside shower! Catching the small boat in the morning with a leg rower is something you won't forget quickly. Breakfast and dinner on the deck is rather special too! Red Mountain winery is close by if you want to try the local drop. Highly recommended."Babe: "Fun dining!"
