Bassac Mekong Delta Cruises by Secret Retreats: "Do it! Best experience you can have on the Mekong!"
Just returned from the 2 day, one night cruise on the Bassac - and I want to give my warmest recommendation. The cruise is excellent value for money, the staff extremely friendly and the food is one of the best we have eaten all over SE Asia. If you want to spend two relaxed days on a little ship - choose this company! The cozy cabins are spotless clean and you even got air conditioning. The company is managed by a French owner so everything is up to the highest European standard. Even if you think the price is steep - it is worth every penny! Thanks for everything!Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Great Experience"
Spend 3 nights at a triple room with 2 adults and 2 children. Very spacious and greatly maintained! It provides very special set-up as the last family house of the last mandarin overseas. Wooden rooms arranged with great detail.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Brilliant"
Great food, great guides, great accommodation. Thank you for a wonderful trip - Noel is a great host and very knowledgeable. The campsite strikes the perfect combination of relaxed but extremely comfortable and a cut above! The Apsara Rive Droite: "Wonderful hotel with first-class service from friendly staff"
"Everything about the Aspara Rive Droitte is just right. Mr Ai and Mr Hann (the management team) and Mr Ivan (the owner) went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with the hotel's dedicated Aspara Queen taking 60 seconds to cross the Nam Khan and deliver you to the heart of Luang Prabang - and, conversely, escape to the more serene side of the Nam Khan. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast wonderful. The pool is a welcome relief from the heat of Laos, with the bar just a few steps away. After 5 days at this home-from-home, we were sad to leave. We hope to go back"Tugu Malang: "My brother’s wedding"
"Ok, first review for lodging I've ever written. First of all, this place is amazing I would highly recommend anybody visiting Malang to come here. The accommodations are first class the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Just to mention a few....Dina, Lina, Niluh, Jhon, Nita, Sigit, Hernawan, Wawan, Budi, Yidi, Novi, & Eko all represent this gracious Indonesian culture in the most professional way. Thank you for putting up with the crazy Americans, we will miss you ALL!!!!! CST & Family!"Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Best hotel in the whole of Myanmar"
There is nothing to fault this hotel. It is basically run by youngsters from all around myanmar who stay and learn hotel management under supervision. They also improve their english as the6 have an English and American teacher. The rooms overlook water and are large and comfortable. The breakfasts and evening meals are tasty. The young staff make it and are always chatty and smiling. It is a must stay at hotel.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A fitting end to our holiday"
The bungalow is set in a well maintained palm tree plantation, the room was very clean and stylish and modern, with an amazing semi outdoor en suite bathroom complete with a palm tree. The shower was very effective and there are twin wash basins and a selection of toiletries. There was an ample supply of luxurious towels which were changed every day.The room had a king sized bed with cotton sheets, which was very comfortable and The room had sufficient wardrobe and drawers. There are two restaurants, one formal and a seafood one on the beach. We only ate the seafood restaurant where the selections are on a blackboard, which changes daily a variety of fish in various sauces. The meals were always superbly cooked and presented and the friendly but professional service was always present.Breakfast was only served at the beach restaurant with an excellent choice of both Indian and european food. This is an exceptional hotel, the pool is well maintained and has really comfortable loungers. This hotel is certainly 5 star with prices to match, although surprisingly the wine when compared to our previous hotels was reasonably priced and good quality. They offer various activities including yoga, spa, backwater cruises, cooking lessons and you can walk safely on the beach which stretches for as far as the eye can see.The wi-fi is slow but acceptable and the hotel is non smoking.Tandjung Sari: "The Tandjung Sari – Beautiful Visit . . . Again!"
I stayed here about 30 years ago. The Tandjung Sari has lost none of its charm. I came back with my wife and we had had such an enjoyable time. Of course everything around the Tandjung Sari has changed, but this place is pretty much as I remember it, which is a good thing. Staff is friendly and professional. The food is excellent. Breakfast near the pool is pleasant. Several choices and it is part of your room rate. The bar on the beach still serves amazing cocktails. The rooms were spacious and I enjoyed the outdoor shower. They have great entertainment on the weekend too. This is not an inexpensive place to stay, but it is well worth a few dollars more! I cannot wait to go back again. Hopefully it will not be another 30 years!Supanniga Cruise: "Dinner Cruise"

While in Siem Reap on business I wanted something with more character than the usual hotels, that could also be my home for my business trips. I found Maison Polanka thanks to an article in the Financial Times. As others have said, the rooms are beautiful and the staffs extremely helpful managing to arrange temple tour to fit my business schedule. The nature there is just so peaceful and gives me energy to start my day as well as rejuvenates me in the evening.Once you enter the wooden gate,it is another world. Just bliss!
