Supanniga Cruise: "One of the highlights of our trip"
This cruise exceeded our expectations. Its not the cheapest cruise on the river but the reward for paying a bit extra is a great service & six delicious courses of food that is personally delivered to your table with an accompanying description of the meal on offer. We loved the traditional with a modern twist, classy but funky vibe of the cruise all set against the stunning backdrop of the Chao Praya river at night. This was one of the highlights of our trip & will do it again next time in Bangkok.Tugu Bali: "This is by far the best in Canguu"
"The Tugu hotel exceeded my expectations to say the least, its such a hidden GEM! I usually stay in Seminyak and wanted to venture to Canguu for a while, from the moment you walk in you feel the most incredible energy, it truely is a very Indonesian cultural environment. EVERYTHING I needed during my stay was provided, I am such a fussy eater and they outdone themselves at every sitting accomodating to my needs EXACTLY as I asked with a huge smile and no confusion.. so if you want five star service and clear communication this will be perfect. My laptop also had internet issues as I have a problem connecting to wi-fi everywhere, but here they even gave me my own modem to easily use the internet which I thought was just exceptional. I also cannot stress enough how amazing the rooms are huge and complete with - Here you see a perfect Blend, a private collection of hundreds of priceless antiques and artworks with majestic landscapes,history and culture of Indonesia. "The hotel is in a great location. It is within 100 of Sukhumvit Road yet manages to be rather quiet. The suites are very comfortable and quiet. I love the no quibble everything is free in the mini bar approach. I love the 24x7 cleaning staff approach. For Thailand, they have a fairly well stocked wine and liquor selection. I have found great inconsistency in the front line staff though. Some of the staff were very well trained and could handle most any request. Others I found to be downright infuriating. Well best kept secrets are probably best kept as otherwise next time you go the place is full! BUT I cannot let my recent stay go un-reviewed, the team at Satri deserve praise. Thank-you to Gianni, Keo and the team for a perfect stay and a wonderfully managed event. We had 40people with us, most staying at Satri but all attending dinner on the last night of our stay and despite the potential hassles from indecisive weather Gianni put together a magical evening, with impeccable service from his team. The hotel is truly a beautiful house, a once royal residence it oozes class, elegance and a sense of history. Travel for me must provide a sense of place and Satri provides it in spades, from the delightful Madame Mem (a lovely local lady who shares her stories of Luang Prabang) to the décor, location and kind attention from the staff sharing their local secrets on what to see, do and where to dine...I felt like I was sharing a home rather than staying in a hotel. We only had two nights in Ubud at the end of our two week Bali holiday but I wish we had longer at Kenanga. What a beautiful peaceful hotel. Amazing rooms, helpful staff and such a nice private location. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back.Chakrabongse Villas: "Paradise in Bangkok"
This hotel is amazing with an outstanding view of the river and Wat Arun and a perfect location to explore the city. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner just next to the river. If we had to leave before 8am they prepared sandwiches for us. The service was outstanding and they were so nice and helpful. Thank you very much. "It's beautiful. really. The rooms and courtyards and hotel lobby. All done excellently. The restaurant is beyond fantastic. We had two dinners there (they were included in the package we selected). It's a fixed menu and each dish was superb. My girlfriend, who is Chinese, said each dish really captures the essence of Chinese cooking with a subtle balance of tastes. It's quiet. We were in the back of the hotel (and there were few other guests). We were able to sleep with our window next to the bed open for natural cooling. The hotels offers a free transfer from the railway station and its centrally located in the ancient city, but far enough away from the tourist area not to be noisy or crowded. It is only a 3 minute walk along East street to get to the main intersection with South street. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. English mastery varies person to person, but it is easy to communicate."misool: "Wonderful vacation"
"We visited for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The diving was exceptional. My wife and I have about 80 dives from Fiji, Bali and the Caribbean, so we are experienced but not experts. The dive team was fantastic and the sites themselves were the best we have been to by far. All close by. The resort does much more than talk about ""eco"" . They are dedicated and it shows in almost all that goes on. Food was great, accommodations were comfortable and the staff is very helpful, I went and got a pot of coffee the first morning to bring back to our porch and the next day they brought it to us at 6:30 am. It is not a luxurious, stuffy, place but very comfortable and unique in the world. We had water cabin 5 and I think it would be my choice in the future because it is sheltered from the afternoon sun but my wife thought water cabin 8 would be preferable because it is a little more private ( it gets the sun in the afternoon though) We will go back sometime for sure."Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Sublime😍😍😍"
"Après 3jours de trek entre Kalaw et Inle le luxe d'un endroit comme celui ci mérite tous les sacrifices ...! Je n'avais pas le budget pour un hôtel comme celui ci mais je savais que l'emplacement avais un prix et ça les vaut puisque cette reconstruction de maison intha sur pilotis et juste sublime !!! Loin de tous les touristes !!! J'adore L'équipe et au petit soin pour vous de quoi vous faire passé un moment inoubliable ,j'en ai pleuré en partant ...! De la literie en passant par le Resto ,la boutique , la réintroduction des burmise cat et surtout le concept d'une vrai action pour le changement dans le bon sens avec ses étudiant en hôtellerie et leur mobilisation pour une nature intacte ...!
