The Island Lodge: "A Great Place for Weekend Getaway"
"A very nice boutique resort, one hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City. Stayed one night at this remarkable resort for my family of four. Relaxed and enjoyed totally with the attentive service from all the staff. Restaurant offer good food and beverages with reasonable price. The sightseeing tour is sufficient and good for the kids to explore the locals in Mekong Delta. Only one negative comment is that the wifi connection in room was not stable throughout my stay at The Island Lodge. Highly recommended for a short trip stay (2 nights) away from the bustling of Ho Chi Minh City."David’s Kitchen: "If there were more places like this in the world"
"I wish I could explain the ambience of this restaurant without you experiencing it first hand. I know I can't do it justice with words alone, but for the purpose of the review I'll try: ""crisp table cloths, meet the friendly, wonderful and chatty waiting staff to create a pristine yet comfortable place to enjoy a great meal."" I started with the scallops and I wasn't disappointed. Perfectly cooked and presented, with a wonderful Sauvignon to compliment. For main course I had the steak which was again perfectly cooked and served with some great sides. At this point I was lucky enough to have a chat with the owner, a wonderful man with a great story about how him and his wife created this special place. He explained the dessert menu and I was drawn to the soufflé, given it was accompanied by Prom's home made ice cream it seemed the logical choice. And it was beautiful. If you're looking for fine dining a with a wonderful heart, give this place a try when you're in Chang Mai"Tugu Bali: "Amazing Hotel with the kindest Staff ever!"
"I have always been passionate about learning and embracing the local culture whenever I travel and Hotel Tugu brought me the perfect balance between Western commodity and Indonesian Traditions The staff was genuine and friendly and they made sure all our stay was special and unique. From the setup for the breakfast on the outside area to the afternoon tea on the raised bed in the garden area it was all perfectly planned and executed. On our second night we had the pleasure to enjoy dinner while watching a Traditional Balinese dance performance. It was interesting to see such performance while enjoying some delicious traditional food in the majestic entrance hall. They also have a delicious Japanese restaurant next door with an amazing decoration and an original Chinese temple surrounding the tables area that was impressive. The Hotel is walking distance to the beach where we walked to see the sunset and see the surfers catching some waves while enjoying our Balinese coffee. Our room was on the upper floor with a beautiful view over the ocean and the most comfortable king size bed I have ever slept in. The room was completely filled with vintage and local items and a traditional bath tube for a late evening bath after exploring Canggu area. The swimming pool made the perfect spot for my girlfriend to read a book and sunbath. On our last night it happened to be my birthday and the hotel staff surprised me over dinner with a delicious birthday cake. If that’s not the ultimate definition of a perfect hotel, I don’t know what could be. Will be returning again on my next trip to Bali and recommending to my friends back home."Jing’s Residence: "Hidden Gem"
This Hotel is fantastic. Set in the middle of an ancient city, the hotel's design and comfort is unbelievable. Excellent food, best service, and the friendliest and happiest staff I've ever met. Loved it!Inle Princess Resort: "Outstanding"
"Another wonderful stay at Inle Princess Resort. The review is rather similar to previous ones, but we find everything at the resort just excellent, the chalets, restaurant, spa, bar, the newly redesigned gift shop, the swimming pool and again, above all, the people. Several staff members speak some basic German and Spanish and I encourage guests to give them a chance to practice their language skills. Rent a bicycle and explore the countryside, nearby villages, markets, or the Maing Thouk forest monastery, just ask at the front desk. The food, whether Burmese or Western, was always delicious. We simply followed the recommendations of the chef (Nwe Oo) or of one of her assistants (Mo Kham). The homemade Frangipani ice cream is among our favourite desserts. The special dinner on the ""honeymoon island"" just for us was an absolute highlight. Very impressive is the social responsibility of the resort owner family, supporting the local population in many ways, e.g., most recently, construction of a new high school nearby (""Bamboo School"") is under way."Tugu Lombok: "Heaven on earth"
"We spent a week of our honeymoon at Tugu Lombok and it was simply fantastic. The food is sensational, such a wide range of dishes to choose from. The satay sticks are out of this world! The staff are friendly, from the waiters to the gardeners, and very good with your individual needs and likes. The moonlight spa treatment and meal is a absolute must. highlight of our fantastic stay. The hotel has kayaks and snorkeling equipment which allow a bit of exploring of the local sealife. We stayed in an Aloon-Aloon villa and it was spacious, comfy and the outside bathrooms were perfectly quirky. I cant speak highly of Tugu Lombok, it was 5 star every bit of the way,"Rachamankha: "Physically beautiful with a wonderfully helpful staff and great food."
We stayed there February 26 - March 1, 2018 to rest up from nearly three weeks in Myanmar and Bhutan. The room was handsomely appointed, well laid out and had excellent lighting. The wood beams and high ceiling of the room and the inner courtyard reminded me of the Monasterio in Cuzco Peru (minus the paintings of 16th century Spanish aristocrats). I mention the lighting because poor lighting seemed to be a common failure among other hotels on this trip through Myanmar and Bhutan. The restaurant was excellent with very attentive and responsive service. We would have no problem returning at any time.Tugu Bali: "So good I don’t want anyone else to know about it!"
"Had my 10th Anniversary there and it was utterly magical. The staff looked after us so well, they made every effort to make sure that we had the best experience and it worked! Food was delicious, rooms were stunning and the view was incredible. They couldn't control the weather unfortunately so our rooftop sunset meal was just a rooftop meal but the setting was so glorious it didn't matter. I will never forget my time there and look forward to many more <3"Misool Eco Resort: "An amazing place"
The cottages are roomy and have plenty of storage. The staff is relentlessly positive. The diving and snorkeling is out of this world. Within a short boat ride from the resort are a myriad of sites and even the House reef good enough to snorkel again and again. The food is very good. The resort is located within a huge private marine reserve. This reserve has been a no take zone for about 10 years and it shows with the abundance of life.Villa Song Saigon: "They know what we want"
I had only one night to spend in the city so I was looking for a quiet place with good service. And thanks to ratings from of Tripadvisor's users I've made a really good choice. HCMC is a unique city and this is a unique accomodation located there. Balance of high level of service and respect to your privacy makes the difference. And in this hotel you will find exactly everything you may require in hotel. They simply really understand their guests' needs and wishes
