Dewakan: "WOW"

Review by: Francois C | Source: Trip Advisor
A wow moment. A creative cuisine with local inspiration and pure/natural ingredients. Tasteful and delighful. Decor and music are in sync with the food. Humble. Accessible and reasonable price. Good for business, great for couple. Not to be missed in KL.

Villa Song Saigon: "Luxury and serenity with wonderful service"

Review by: EmmaCM_71 | Source: tripadvisor.com
I can't say enough good things about this small luxury hotel. I wanted a short break at a boutique hotel and Villa Song Saigon surpassed my expectations. From the moment I arrived where I was upgraded to the Imperial Suite (with two private terraces, one overlooking the Saigon River and the other, a beautiful pool) to the spa (fabulous hot stone massage by Duyen) to the amazing and friendly service from every member of the hotel staff I encountered to the superb breakfasts on the banks of the Saigon River, afternoon cheese platters and great dinners, I spent four idyllic days here. The hotel is in District 2 so a little way out of the crazy bustle of Ho Chi Minh City centre but very easy to get to either by a frequently running shuttle bus from the hotel or taxi. But once you get to the hotel it is quite hard to tear yourself away. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have music in the spa if guests want it. I highly recommend Villa Song Saigon and if I come back to Ho Chi Minh City I will definitely stay here again.

The River Resort: "The best of the best"

Review by: MrSmartyPants | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a great resort. My wife and I travel a bit and this was is the finest place we have stayed. We were there for 2 nights. Fantastic views from our room of the Mekong and while having meals. The reception arranged for a nice tuk tuk driver to take us to the nearby ruins of Champasak and to Champasak to have lunch on the river and to see the early 20th century 'palace' for the king of Champasak. The food at the hotel and the staff are great. We arrived at the Pakse bus terminal and a vehicle from the resort was there pick us up. We hope to return here, just to relax.

Satri House: "Fantastic stay. Lovely location and great service"

Review by: Marni1973 | Source: Trip Advisor
Satri house was a great experience overall. Lovely location on a quiet (well usually, see below) residential street 5 mins from "town". Great service, lovely clean rooms and amazing little edible treats left in the rooms every afternoon. The pool area is small so loungers are limited but there is a second pool area if needs be. The restaurant serves a really nice breakfast and although we only ate dinner their once that was great too. The spa was good. Not amazing but not bad. There were two downsides - the number of mosquitos which were ridiculous and almost certainly bred in the large pond by reception/the restaurant - the stagnant water must be heaven on earth for them. At any one time we had a least 10 in our room and never left the windows or doors open. The 4 poster bed with curtains helped keep the blood sucking critters at bay at night. The other downside whilst we were there was the non stop loud dance music coming from the festival next door combined with the karaoke on the street behind the pool for national women's day. We found it rather amusing but I doubt I would have felt the same if I had been there too much longer - plus our air con and fan helped drown out some of the noise when we were in the room. Despite the two issues I would definitely stay there again and loved our trip.

Sukoon Houseboat: "paradise"

Review by: Orbitaleee | Source: Trip Advisor
We had a lovely time at Sukoon. High end houseboat with heating, fancy bathroom with a bath - it is a five star experience. It has a lovely sun deck - perfect to lounge in the evening sun, read a book, just watch life go by and sundowners. It is in one corner of the Dal lake so pretty private. Highly recommended!

Reverie Siam: "Awesomely delightful"

Review by: TurtleJamm | Source: tripadvisor.com
it would be very hard to fault this "dream come true", the inspired design is beautifully finished and full of wonderfully enchanting details, from the magical library of olde-world books in the restaurant/lounge to the Smith Corona typewriter in our room obviously a lot of love has been lavished on this Reverie. We are staying here as i write and will extend our visit to soak up the refreshingly relaxing ambiance. Town is just a few minutes away and a free shuttle is provided until late but it is hard to leave when the kitchen keeps dishing up such quality serves by a complement of staff who will cater your every whim and engage you with sweet pleasure. Absolutely Awesome !!

Tugu Lombok: "We were totally spoilt"

Review by: Teresa C | Source: Trip Advisor
Our family of five (kids 19, 16, 9) spent 11 nights at Hotel Tugu in July and it was sensational. We picked Lombok because the weather is perfect at this time of the year, the water is like a bath and we wanted somewhere less commercial than Bali. We had two of the least expensive rooms and they were huge, one accommodated the three kids easily. We spent our days snorkelling (at high tide you can swim out directly in front of the resort to see lovely tropical fish and we saw a turtle once); paddling; reading; eating and drinking; and reconnecting as a family. A day trip around the Gili Islands is a must and the nearby Autore Pearl Farm does a great tour although you'll need LOTS of money to buy their pearls. Instead I bought cheapie freshwater pearls from Ali who sells them on the beach! As with all holidays its the people who set a place apart. The staff at Tugu couldn't have done more for us. Trips to chemists for cold medication, aranging tours, making delicious food that they will serve literally anywhere you like, bringing sun lounges to you when they see you laying on the sand, and a final night display of folded towel animals, the likes of which we've never seen. If you need a real break, Tugu comes highly recommended. If you do go, please consider Lombok's Forgotten Children's Foundation (just google for details). We took over a couple of bags of good quality children's clothes and I'm currently collecting pre-used laptops and phones to send over. It's an incredible grass roots charity making a huge difference and if you're lucky enough to stay at Tugu I'm sure you can also do something small to help when you visit Lombok.

Tugu Bali: "Hotel Tugu 11/17"

Review by: Vincent C | Source: Trip Advisor
"What can I say about Hotel Tugu other than it’s the most enchanting friendly and amazing hotel we stayed at while on Bali. From the minute you enter driveway you will be welcomed with a friendly greeting and the first of many incredible historic relics from the island. From the minute we walked in my wife and I felt like family and were always taken well care of…upon leaving we were provided a fruit basket and a gift for staying at the hotel…we stayed at much more costly and higher rated villas during our stay but did not receive any kind of sendoff like we had at Tugu… PROS – You will not stay in another hotel like this in Bali – trust me – we stayed at much higher end hotels and did not have near the experience we had while at Tugu. Free Balinese dance show every Thursday night where dinner is served – can’t miss this if you have the chance. The beach (although a 100 meter walk from the hotel) is filled with plenty of friendly locals and surfers from around the world. If you ever wanted to surf, this is a great place to learn with the easy rolling waves. Finally the town surrounding the hotel is a lot of fun and gives you a chance to get out of the hotel and mingle. CONS – Bed is not very frim – I am used to a really firm mattress so I might just be complaining for no reason – also there is no gym which is quite common in Bali hotels… Honestly there was nothing wrong with this hotel and I promise if you give it a shot, you will not be disappointed. FYI the price for pickup from the airport (246,000) is better than any driver will give you upon arrival…It’s a 45-60 minute ride from Denpasar…"

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Et si c’était le paradis"

Review by: Gilbert T | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Dewakan: "Wong family"

Excellent. Family of 9 enjoyed the dishes very much and also like the ambient. Although out of the city centre in Shah Alam in the KDU University College campus, it worth the trip!
