The Tiger’s Eye: "Love goes through your stomach"

Review by: Christer H | Source: Trip Advisor
"I was meeting an old friend to catch up on life, business, future and past. We had dinner at Tigers Eye and decided for the tasting menu with the carefully selected wine to accompany. Your experience is like tossed from the different sensations of Southeast Asia, to NY and Paris, still keeping that fine taste of Khmer cuisine and it's representation. Dinner conversations is truly accelerated by being at the right place, with right food and wine. Tim and his team makes Phnom Penh shine. See you soon again."

Tugu Bali: "Privileged Experience – this is not a hotel, this is a magnificent passion"

Review by: supermarketers | Source: Trip Advisor
I have just returned from a magnificent adventure at Hotel Tugu. I relucantly handed the GM my sword room key as she waved me out the door. I'm not sure what to say, I have travelled to Bali with my grandparents since I was a kid in the 70's and for me the hotel bought back all those fond memories. Tugu is for connecting to the real Bali and I felt privileged to be able to experience it. This is a not a hotel, this is a special place, built by a special man and run by special people. Architecture, culture and history preserved. I felt like I was leaving my second home..... I cannot thank you all enough.

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Superb Setting and Service"

Review by: DrCUR | Source: Trip Advisor
We were at Seeds for our last meal before leaving Myanmar. It was a very satisfying lunch. The setting was serene, the menu was great, the presentation beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was innovative and tasty! I would highly recommend a meal here. We will definitely come here again.

Flower Island Resort: "Très bien"

Review by: Browning B | Source: Trip Advisor

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Just Wonderful"

Review by: Edinburghdi_cat | Source: Trip Advisor
We had the most wonderful taster menu here at such a reasonable price of $31. It was nice to get a choice of 2 taster menus and when I explained that I would like to swap one course with a course from the other taster menu, the chef came out to see me and explain the dish more to help me chose which one to go with. Such a nice touch for the chef to come out. In the end I didn't enjoy the course afterall so the chef as promised sent out the other course I wanted instead. How good customer service is that ? Wish we could have gone again but they were closed for the next few weeks luckily Siem Reap is full of wonderful restaurants so we were spoiled for choice, but none like this place.

Reverie Siam: "Incredible day and night"

Review by: Gina S | Source: Trip Advisor
"My boyfriend surprised me with a night at this beautiful place for our anniversary. I cannot quite begin to describe how amazing it is! The whole resort is decorated in a gorgeous 1920's pastel theme. We stayed in a private villa, the bed was incredibly soft and comfy, the bathroom was enormous with a great shower and we even had our own private jacuzzi! The staff were so friendly and attentive, never letting our wine glasses become empty. The food was outstanding, we ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant- the tapas is beautiful and my lamb shank at dinner was cooked to perfection. They have a bar down by the river which was my favourite aspect of the whole resort, at night the entire bar and garden was lit up with hundreds of tiny fairy lights, it really was beautiful. We spent the day by the pool which was gorgeous and tranquil. The only tiny downside is that I think there may have been slight drainage problems-the drain by the toilet in our bathroom smelled quite bad and ended up making the entire villa smell a bit funny. This was only a small issue though, and I absolutely cannot fault anything else. Thank you so much to the team for making our stay so special, I will never forget it. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Rahai’i Pangun: "Wonderful relaxing and informative weekend"

Review by: Julian S | Source: Trip Advisor
"We flew from Jakarta on Friday and stayed the night at Aquarius hotel (probably best available even though only mediocre, but food surprisingly good, especially dinner) We were picked up at 8.30 am by Eva who proved to be an excellent, charming, chatty, well informed and intelligent guide who really made the weekend an excellent one. The company should be very happy to have her on the staff, even though the others were also good and friendly. Everything was good or excellent: - two of us had the boat to ourselves -in fact the only improvement would have been some extra interesting guests - but we enjoyed it anyway - ample, delicious food - interesting trip to the village, even though rather more modernised than one might hope - apparently it's now rather difficult to find a genuine untouched forest village - charming ""oldest man"" who sold us some delicious spiced coffee made with beans from his own garden - beautiful, serene boat trip on the big boat, and even better when we switched to the small boat for the last trip through the swamp to the information centre - awesome trips in the small boat round the islands where the Orang Utans live before they are released - boat is better than walking as you can get very close without disturbing them - highly informative and thought-provoking briefing at the information centre Important thing to remember is that the Borneo Orang untan Society are doing a great job for an animal which shares 97% of its DNA with humans and showed us many aspects of their behaviour (such as the playful greeting at the information centre) which made them seem like us. They are also successful both in rehabilitating, reclaiming habitats and educating people not to kill the animals. And every trip with Wow includes a donation to the BOS, as well as showing local people they can earn a living from conservation-related activities (in line with their traditional beliefs of respect for nature)."

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Historic mansion in Penang"

Review by: Fred S | Source: Trip Advisor
"""The Blue Mansion"" was built by a very wealthy Chinese businessman in the late 19th / early 20th century, Cheong Fact Tze himself. There is a wealth of information about the house on hand, including a small interpretive display and guided tours. The house was restored by heritage architects over 5 or 6 years in the 1990's when it was in danger of being torn down. The small courtyards are a great place to lounge and soak up the atmosphere. Location is good - nearby Chinatown and the waterfront. Staff were very helpful and I was regularly given a friendly greeting by Shiro at the reception desk. There is a food court next door which makes a bit of noise at night but it didn't bother me much. Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"
