"A peaceful period hotel in a slightly remote setting. The gardens are enchanting, the pool side very inviting, the staff very warm and cordial. To top it off the food was really good and served in different settings in the various outdoor locales that the hotel boasts. Don't opt for the Burj rooms though. The deluxe rooms are good..And the suites are very royal though pricier. A big thank you to Mr Yogi, the manager, Mr Hemendra ( F&B) and Sandeep for taking such good care of us. I have traveled extensively all over the world and this is probably one of the most amazing 'hotels' ever. Each room is it's own private house, a house that was bought somewhere in Java and moved to the property and then carefully renovated and modernized. Amazing. Property is just beautiful and the pool and spa area perfect. Nice touches like free afternoon tea with enough food that one has to think about not eating too much. Amazing scenery, excellent beach, brilliantly designed tree houses, very good foods and well trained employees. reverie Siam lies just ouside Pai, the distance is perfect. Quit, but close to the village. You enter a place with a relaxing atmosphere and wonderful designed rooms/villa's. There are two big (salt) swimming pools. Everything is thought of in this resort. The fruit snacks when you are at the pool, a thai telephone to loan when you are going to town and the list goes on. The WIFI connection is fast (10mb) The a la cart breakfast is very nice, a wide variety of choices. What is best, is the staff. Never We encountered staff in thailand who are so engaged with the wellbeing of the resort en their guests. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 9 nights, that says enough.Supanniga Eating Room: "Absolutely amazing crab"

"Wonderful view over The Saigon River, quiet & away from the Ho Chi Min bustle, 15 minutes away from the town centre in the complementary hotel shuttle boat available both way until 7pm. the rooms are very elegant, depending on choice & wallet, The service is amazing. the Restaurant serve French fusion, very good but a bit dear. This is one of the most beautiful historic boutique hotels in the world. From the moment of our pick up and check in to check out everything was truly 'royal' and perfect. The staff was the most impressive. The architecture and grounds are breathtaking. The rooms lovely and relaxing in decor. One really felt as if you were a guest of royalty long ago. What you get when you stay at a hotel owned by one of Indonesia’s biggest if not the biggest antique collector...is a decadent hotel decorated beautifully with vintage furnitures and antiques obviously all around. Lovely pool to enjoy in and the room was amazingly furnish showcasing Peranakan Heritage and culture. Evident in the snacks and tea provided as well. If you want a superb fine dining experience with exquisitely adapted Malaysian cuisine, this is as good as it gets in KL. This restaurant is open only for dinner. Options are between a 5 course and a 10 course meal - from appetisers to dessert. All at the table must choose the same option of number of courses. Beautifully served and you will taste herbs, flowers and meats not seen on menus often. Service is unobtrusive, efficient and friendly. Good wines are on offer. Reservation needed and if you have dietary restrictions , need to advise them in advance. Chef Darren (or Darell) is extremely passionate and dishes out an outstanding fare - a la Master Chef style .
