Flower Island: "Unforgettable"
"An unforgettable stay! Worth every Pesos! Absolutely beautiful setting, caring and kind staff, stunning rooms, peace and tranquility not find in many places left on earth! Pearl farm visit a must with super interesting and professional staff. Was encouraging to see the environmental programmes supported by the resort and the pearl business. Clean, clear ocean with the best snorkelling in Palawan. Thank you so much to all the staff for your incredible kindness and care. We will return to paradise! Room Tip: Loved Golden room"The Village House: "Very relaxing"
We stayed in this hotel for two nights after our interesting visit to the Iban people in the jungle. We really could relax in this hotel as it is such a quite place. The hotel has a nice small pool and some little areas around the pool to sit. The rooms are very nice and quite big. Unfortunately there is only wifi at the public areas of the hotel. The hotel offers diners, you really have to taste the 8-course menu "Taste of Borneo" as it was very delicious.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Lap of the Mighty Himalayas"
Tea Plantation Tour’ which makes “Darjeeling” world famous. This is which can make your ‘Tour Differently’ from the usual program in this region as you may visit one of the iconic tea garden called Glenburn Tea Estate. You will be experiencing the tea plantation & nature walk. ‘Eat Differently’ while you lunch with the local cuisines in the lap of the mighty Himalayas.
Aber who cares?! Also, solange Sie wissen, was Sie wollen, bekommen Sie mit der Ruheoase Village House genau DAS, was Sie wollen. Toller Abschluss.Inle Princess Resort: "Magical Relaxation"
After more than 25 years in Asia, I'd always dreamed of visiting Inle Lake and ultimately I was very glad that my close Friend in Yangon recommended the Inle Princess to me. Pick up from Heho in an old Toyota sedan then the last 30 mins by Long tail boat from the town. Navigating the narrow paths piercing the lake reeds with the mountainous backdrop, the arrival at Inle Princess mid morning was truly memorable. I declined any tours for the rest of the day, and totally relaxed in my Lake House room, spotting birdlife with the complimentary binoculars and enjoying the magical views and peacefulness of the resort (no boat engines permitted for 500m approaching the resort). I did indulge in a half day tour the following day to a morning market and beautiful temple at the very south of the lake, ninety mins each direction, which was a fantastic experience and proved very difficult to stop taking photographs! It was extremely cool in the morning when I departed on the tour and not having any sweater, the hotel staff very kindly loaned me two very nice rugs, which helped me keep warm immensely as we zoomed through the early morning mist on the journey south. The whole resort had amazing architecture and I greatly enjoyed all of the meals that I had at the restaurant, especially the lentil soup. At lunch time the resort was deserted, I Guess because everyone was out on tours, so I recommend spending quality time to enjoy this lovely hotel and don't overdo it on the tours. I will definitely return!! Thank you.flower island: "Flower Island: what a dream place to be !"
"Flower Island, a beautiful, serene paradise you do not want to leave, and if you have to do so by the end of your stay, you might have a little tear in your eyes... just beautiful in all respects ! The very friendly, helpful staff, the situation on this untouched island, the absolute beautiful beach, the happy, clean and pleasant ""house"" dog with its 2 puppies, the good food... what can one say more. The Flower Island..almost out of this world. One of the best places I have seen. Anytime again, better sooner then later!"Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing way to see the countryside and river"
"We booked a one night cruise and struck lucky as we were the only passengers on board. Even the 4 hour transfer on the first day was soon forgotten when we had lunch on board and cruised along the river and canals. In the afternoon we had a walk around the countryside and sampled some fruit. Everything was explained perfectly by An who gave us a lesson in everything Vietnamese, history, economy, education, social services, you name it, she explained it all to us. Back on board we had a drink followed by dinner. After a nightcap we retired to the small but comfortable a air conditioned cabin with ensuite. Early to rise, we had breakfast on board before transferring to a smaller boat for the final tours of local sugar factory, floating market and rice cake making. Again, expertly explained by An, we sadly said our goodbyes to face the 2 1/2 hour transfer back to Saigon. This was a great way to get to know a piece of the real Vietnam."The Island Lodge: "The Reason to Visit the Mekong Delta"
This is a beautiful property with amazing staff and service! The room was very clean, modern and spacious. The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, the spa was great, and the property pristine. The owner, Michel, reached out to us directly after we made our reservation and offered transfers from Ho Chi Minh City and back at a reasonable price, which made logistics easy. Michel and his wife, Francoise, also greeted us upon arrival, adding a nice personal touch to our stay. We highly recommend taking advantage of some of the activities offered by the Island Lodge - we did the Seven Bridges Bicycle Tour and it was one of the highlights of our visit to Vietnam. But stay away from My Tho proper, the city really has nothing to offer; just enjoy the lodge, the island, and the river instead. If you are traveling to the Mekong delta, I cannot imagine a better place to stay than the Island Lodge - simply amazing.Jing’s Residence: "Very charming place to stay"
Very quiet, beautifull and confortable place to stay. Not like an hotel, more like a beautiful home, a nice library to spend time to read drinking a good tea, possibility to access to a free Wi-Fi, and very kind persons at the check in/out, at the restaurant for the diner or the breakfast...Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Silently Beautiful"
"Where to start?? I was very happy and fulfilled with my stay at Neeleshwar Hermitage. A 2.5 hour drive from Mangalore airport. They organize pick up for you offering a cold ice towel which is much needed after few hours of flight. Also, there is fresh fruit in the car to help you get through the drive. Staff: The staff is what impressed me the most about Neeleshwar Hermitage. The service staff are insanely courteous and sincerely caring about providing the utmost in hospitality. Chef Anish and Chef Deepak prepare wonderful dishes that are full flavored with local spices bringing the taste of India directly to your senses. The fact that I want to name every single department and staff member who left an impression on me should illustrate how amazing I thought the service at Neeleshwar was. Why I recommend you go: -The place has a weird way of making you forget yourself and focus on everything around you making you wonder all sorts of things. -It's beautiful. Beach tables where you're eating deliciously seasoned fresh fish listening to the sounds of the Arabian Sea taking small glances up at the sky to view the stars. -Mediation and yoga are classical bringing you back to a simpler frame of mind. It's like Mr. Anil takes the beauty of the resort and channels it within you. -Ayurveda aims to balance your mind, body, and soul. They don't only sell it, Neeleshwar Hermitage embodies it. There is direct communication between the restaurant, the spa, the mediation and yoga instructor, and the management of the hotel. This is to ensure that all aspects of you are getting the best for your mind, body, and soul. This communication made you feel that the whole place had your best interests at heart. -Ranipuram Trek. Went to the highest point 1050m above sea level and it was stunning. A moderately difficult climb but well worth it. Not for the lazy. -Some of the freshest fruit you'll ever have. I drank a fresh glass of orange juice and couldn't believe how sweet it was. -They literally climb the trees to get you coconut water. Can't get better or fresher than that !! -STAFF once again was amazing! Overall, the place is great. It all depends though on what you're looking for. There are things to do but ultimately it's just a place to getaway from the world and focus on yourself. And they do everything they can so you don't have to worry about anything but you."
