Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "One of our favourite experiences in Sri Lanka"

Review by: Peter W | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were in Sri Lanka for a month and our overnight safari camp with Leopard Safaris was a real highlight of the whole trip. The accommodation was real luxury camping (glamping) with electricity in the tents including a phone, fan, lighting and torches. The toilet and shower tents were clean, the toilet was a western style one and we had hot water for our evening shower. What a treat! The food was delicious – some of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. The staff were excellent and really looked after us. The whole layout of the camp was great with a nice lounge area with drinks and comfortable seating as well as dining area where you could chat to other guests and the staff. We really enjoyed chatting to Saj who was clearly passionate and deeply knowledgable about his work with animals. The safari itself was great fun. We had bad weather while there but still managed to see an array of wildlife including a leopard. We had two game drives during our stay with a ranger and a driver in the car to help us spot wildlife. Excellent experience all round. Thoroughly recommended. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Flower Island: "Pristine paradise!"

Review by: Sebastien C | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We spent 2 nights at flower island resort and loved every minute! The corals surrounding the island are stunning and thriving with life. We saw a turtle on our first snorkelling just a few metres away from the beach. The visibility is great, around 20-25m and there is plenty of fish. Our cottage had a direct access onto the beach with a beautiful view (especially for sunset). The staff on the island is very friendly, they even prepared a last minute dance show for us on our last evening there. We also had the chance to visit one of the pearl farms nearby, a fascinating industry. This place is a true paradise, we did not want to leave. Thank you flower island resort for such an amazing time."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Outstanding"

Review by: Tracy S | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our holiday and was perfect after a long flight. The hotel,is surrounded by wall to wall rice fields and is so tranquil that you cannot fail to feel at peace with yourself and the world! Our room was beautiful and we would fall asleep each night to the sound of frogs and crickets. Whilst there we did a trek to a local village and stopped off for a swim at some waterfalls. Our guide Arca was superb, very knowledgeable and you could tell that he actually enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the local area. There is a small pool are which is lovely for relaxing bybwhilst taking in the beauty of the surroundings. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to help. Whilst we were there my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Our travel agents unbeknown to us had informed the hotel of this fact and after dinner that evening we were presented with a cake to celebrate our anniversary. This Inthought was a really nice touch and totally unexpected. If you want to stay somewhere and be totally unhurried with lovely people with stunning panoramic views then this is the place for you.

Supanniga Cruise: "Best Chao Praya Cruise Ship"

Review by: MintsKina | Source: Trip Advisor
Most of the cruises on Chao Praya river are big boats with chessy music, lousy buffet and full of unpleasant big group tourists. Supanniga has already made its name from their restaurants in the city which drew many sophisticated Bangkokians to the cruise when opened. I had a chance to dine on the cruise. The cruise is small and not crowded. I love the chic and stylish decorations with nice modern music. Food are great. I enjoyed the experience.

Rachamankha: "Secluded heaven"

Review by: Carol16 | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is wonderful. Although Chiang Mai is nothing like Bangkok in terms of traffic it is Thailand's second largest city and can be very busy in places. This hotel in the old town is down a really quiet street yet you can walk to the temples, shopping areas etc very easily. It is beautiful - you can tell that it has been designed by architects. The staff are helpful and polite. The whole place exudes calm. Our room was lovely and the pool area is just stunning and never seems to be that busy. Breakfast was fantastic and we ate there one night and had a great dinner too. I would definitely stay here again when in Chiang Mai.

Tugu Lombok: "Above and Beyond Expectations"

Review by: Galboro | Source: Trip Advisor
I had researched this hotel and recommended it to two friends despite not actually visiting it myself so I had high expectations. Finally, I got to visit and I was not disappointed, and I have been lucky enough to stay in many luxurious hotels around the world. This hotel is a gem. From the minute we arrived we all felt...

Tugu Malang: "I’ve never seen a place like this before.."

Review by: BrendaGracia | Source: Trip Advisor
"I have never seen a hotel like this before. This place is literally a museum, the owner collects antiques from around the world (but mostly Javanese and Cina peranakan), makes the hotel breathes art deco, bohemian, middle east, Javanese, oriental, and Dutch colonial style. It's amazing they have so many collections like chairs from Soekarno's house, 2000+ year old Chinese sculpture, and many ancient Chinaware. Also worth to mentioned: Mata Hari's dancing portrait and a mysterious picture from the black and white Lolita movie. The service is excellent, the staff call me by name and never cease to amaze me by their warm hospitality. The tea time from 4-6 pm is worth to try. They provide Indonesian snacks with selections of tea and coffee. The front office staff are really really nice, they are very helpful and seems like all the staff enjoy what they're doing so the hospitality comes from the heart. Tips: *During the tea time, sit on the balcony to have a better view of the hundred years old giant tree at the hotel facade. *If you stay in the hotel, ask for a hotel tour. Mbak Poppy gave me a tour and she explained thoroughly and patiently about historical background in every item I asked. She also showed me the stunning Apsara suite. Unfortunately the Raden Saleh one was occupied on that day. Thank you, Mbak Poppy! Fun fact: All Indonesia's past and current presidents have been to this hotel."

Mume: "Just amazing"

Review by: Maxim S | Source: Trip Advisor
"I personally cannot understand the low rating. My experience here was fantastic! I am from the industry and the food & cocktails were on a really high level. Also the casual dress code and relaxed environment just make it better. For Taipei it might not be cheap, but compared to places like Hong Kong or Singapore it is! And you definitely get great quality and its worth it! Recommending this place to everyone!"

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "This is it"

Review by: PamelaJoZag | Source: Trip Advisor
We so enjoyed our time here! Phakdey Chhun is the manager- and a more kind and attentive man you could not meet. The location is a little tuk tuk ride to the the city center, but Mr. Dan is awesome! Dan took us around - bamboo train and a pagoda with Khmer Rougevties. He was insightful and kind. The pool is amazing as well as breakfast. The little village outside the resort is worth exploring- the people are so kind and the kids are delightful. Tip: Buy some cheap toys and give them to the kids they just love it

Maison Polanka: "Hidden Oasis"

Review by: maggiegeyer | Source: trip Advisor
A wonderful haven -- such a luxury to stay in a tiny hotel that feels like it could be your own house. Incredible food and sweet caring staff. When we left and continued on the rest of our trip, no other hotel could compete.
