Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Wonderful 3 days in Sea Dance Resort"
"After a disaster morning, having checked in in out from another hotel, we started to look for a hotel for our last three night in Thailand and in Koh Samui. After reading many different reviews of all the available hotel, we selected Sea Dance Resort! It is again a special hotel, in the nord of the island, comfortable bungalows in the nature, nice open on the side bathroom, great team from reception to the restaurant, all very kind and helpful! Great breakfast with different fresh juices, fruits, cheese, eggs, toast, some Thai specialities all you can dream in the morning. The restaurant is at a high level of quality that we can judge the best Thai food of our holiday. Of course the price is higher than the restaurants in the village. In the area they are also meny things to visit and with the ""rent a bike"" just outside the entrance you can organize your holiday in the best way. A special thank you to Lux at reception and the restaurant crew!"David’s Kitchen: "Number 1 for a good reason"
Its the best! Tried different restaurants in the area but this one stands out. The food is so tasty! Try it and believe the hype.Sea Dance Resort: "Very nice upmarket resort with personalized service"
This is a beautiful small resort with cozy villas with pool or jaccuzzi. Very personalized service by the team and the owner himself. We had a great time there and really enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended!Misool Eco Resort: "Paradise"
After 8 flight connections and a 4 hour boat ride from the US, this place was just paradise! The passion that these 2 individuals have for this area of the world is evident in their respect and protection of the ecobalance of nature...from the use of only fallen logs for the buildings and furniture to the use of natural bacteria and plant life to filter the water services. The food was wonderful with a local influence and nice variety. The staff were from the surrounding and some far away villages and so very friendly. (...) Our dive guides on our boat, Marafel and Ferry, were so great to hang out with. So fun and friendly, and knowledgeable of the reefs and fishes! They even rescued our camera after we got excited with the mantas on our safety stop. Even though we don't know their names, all the behind the scenes staff were wonderful in making this vacation so relaxing and exciting at the same time! Even if you're not a diver, the house reef is wonderful for snorkeling and the view from the water cottages is breathtaking! We would go back in a heartbeat and I urge you to go and see this piece of paradise for yourself!! Terri F., St Jacob, ILManda De Laos: "Delicious"
"The restaurant is very beautiful and the food is delicious! The restaurant is developed around a natural steam with luxurious flora, palms and a lot of different varieties of trees that create an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere and is decorated with fine taste. The kitchen is Laotian with French/westerns influence. We have ordered le pate' Laotian, crunchy rice salad and banana flower salad as appetizers. Tanguy duck tamarind sauce, steamed chicken hormok style and buffalo steak as mains and choix banana as dessert. Every dish was delicious and I recommend all of them. The combination of many different flavors was fine and the result amazing. The portions were generous and the presentation impressive and studied in every small detail. The service was fast and very professional. Manda de Laos is a place not to be missed in Luang Prabang."Arumdalu: "Unearthly beautiful destination not far from the heart of Indonesia"
"I have no complain, instead a full satisfaction. Arumdalu resort is among the best private resorts I've stayed in a while. I would recommend visitors to experience sunrise and sunsets in the area of Arumdalu, it was astonishingly breathtaking. Also, I want to recommend you to try the food at their restaurant. The food offered was the best I've tasted around. Simply because they source the food locally, and some they even have their own farm to grow their ingredients. So fresh. Oh, and the most important part of all is the room. What I like about the room the most is that it lets a lot of natural light comes through the room. The light makes it so well lit and creates beautiful ambience during daytime and warm ambience during your night sleep. Very nice touch. TO get to Arumdalu is not far. around an hour by plane to Belitung (island where Arumdalu is located), and another hour by car from the airport. I would easily recommend this resort to anyone or any couple who would like a completely unique getaway and escape from the crowded and boring Jakarta. This is where you need to go! Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"Les Maisons d’Itac: "Best place we stayed in the Philippines"
"Me and my gf spent 4 nights at Les Maisons d'Itac. We were supposed to stay for 3, we loved the place so much we decided to stay 1 more night (we couldn't stay longer as the Mayson Ulisse was not available anymore, so we kept our travel plan on). What can we say? Bryan (who spoke italian, we're italians and we have very charming and nice conversations during our stay) has been the perfect host. Always ready to help, charmful and totally welcoming. We booked our trasfers to Bantayan and back to Cebu through him and it was just perfect! The food at the maisons is great, the location awsome. They have an amazing spot for snorkelling just in front of the resort that you can reach in a few mins swimming. What makes this place special (apart from the view, the nature around, the sea) is the SILENCE. In almost a month in the Philippines we never found such a relaxing spot, where you can fall asleep at night hearing at the waves sounds. A true dream come true. If you're looking for a place to stay around Moalboal (it can be reached in 25 minutes scooter ride from the resort, you can rent just asking Bryan) DO NOT HESITATE to book a stay at the Maisons. p.s: say hi to Itac and Stacey for us :) Ciao! Andrea & Marta Room Tip: Maison Ulysse is a must-to-try!"Supanniga Eating Room: "Really really delicious"
"It is a restaurant you can pass easily because it is narrow, but the three floors are completely full! We were lucky to get a table for two because we didn’t make a reservation. We choose a few things and all were really delicious! The ‘Mieng Yong’ we found to be really really delicious ... ! We ordered a second one!!! We really recommend this place and the food! We were lucky to eat there!"Mathis Retreat: "Lovely place"
Very nice and quiet place located 10 min scooter drive form the center. The staff is nice and the manager will help you with what ever your questions must be. The breakfast is very good. Loved it hereTugu Bali: "Traditional old world Balinese style hotel"
"Drive through traditional villages and rice fields. Only 30 minutes from Seminyak. It is a lovely drive and sometimes people want to see the rice fields without spending a day driving to Ubud. Arrive at Tugu, lovely old world traditional hotel for a nice lunch. A couple of hours of your time well spent. Relaxing, peaceful and educational. "
