talabgaon castle: "Family owned Castle in the Indian countryside"
A group of four friends on the way from Jaipur to Ranthambore stopped at this magical place. It was like stepping back into time, when life was slower, and more elegant. The hotel is the generations old great-house of a noble family from Jaipur, who also happen to be some of the best polo players in India! The grounds include a polo field, gorgeous pool, and lots of little paths that criss-cross the gardens. The family treats you like a guest and like a member of the family — while we were there we were treated to a beautiful supper on the grass in the late afternoon sun — magical! All the rooms have been renovated and have amazing marble floors and fabulous baths, each with its own unique series of nooks and windows with amazing views of the countryside. The little village that is just outside the gates of the castle is charming too. What a delightful contrast to all the business that is India. A great place to relax and experience life at an Indian family 'home.'Inle Princess Resort: "Wish we could have stayed longer"
The leg rowers skillfully guide your long boat into the dock and you are then transported to serene peaceful surroundings. We were welcomed by the local Burmese cats in the lobby. Magnificent creatures and very friendly. Our mountain view room was everything you could want, right down to the free mini bar. The property is gorgeous, the meals in the restaurant are delicious. Unique breakfast additions on the complimentary buffet. We sat on the decking gazing over the water and watched the sunset which was beautiful. Our next day we indulged in massages by two skillful young ladies which were heaven. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. The only regret we had was not being able to stay a couple more days to really relax and enjoy it.Villa Mathis: "Hotel de charme"
"Un moment de calme et de charme . Une de nos meilleures étapes pendant notre voyage à Bali. Nous avions la Suite Rizière avec une belle terrasse une trés grande salle de bain, tout le confort et le charme balinais. Chaque Villa possède plusieurs chambres ( max 5) donc une grande intimité. Chaque villa a un grand jardin et une piscine. LE charme des rizières à 5mns des plages. Allez y les yeux fermés Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Dewakan: "Great local ingredients Fusion"
I have mistaken the this restaurant with another similar restaurant in Cyberjaya Malaysia. Please do disregard the other restaurant I wrote a review on Al Diwan. The review for this restaurant is great as mentioned the Masterchef Australia judges should try this place of marrying local ingredients to western flavour. Great degustation menu . Great place to visit.Mathis Retreat: "Small and personal, out of the way of the hustle and bustle"
This small boutique hotel is just a short car ride away for the busy Ubud area. The service is impeccable from the minute you arrive. If you are interested in seeing the sites guided the hotel manager is happy to arrange a private guide. The rooms while nothing over the top fancy are quite large and have a wonderful view of the rice paddies that surround it and are very clean and well maintained. The infinity pool while we were there was quite cool but that is to be expected for November. The restaurant on site is an open air area with a roof, with a nice of the area. The menu while not large has excellent food choices which are all quite good. We did not have a bad meal here. Prices were reasonable for the restaurant, rooms and the spa facilities. There has been a change in ownership which was happening about the time we were staying there, my hope is that it has been a seamless change as it truly is a little piece of paradise. The Village House: "An amazing place – absolultely beautiful and run by the loveliest people"
"The Village House is an easy and traffic-free 40-45 minute drive from Kuching at the foot of Mount Santubong. It's absolutely beautiful - it's clear the owners have put tremendous thought and effort into creating a relaxing little oasis, and they've accomplished as much. The grounds are beautiful - very green and very relaxing with a luxury, boutique-y feel - when you see it, you can't believe how little they charge to stay here! The rooms are immaculate with gorgeous four-poster beds and well thought-out décor. The hotel is really, really gorgeous, but the highlight is the service - they went WAY above and beyond anything I've ever experienced. We forgot a backpack, so the owner lent us one - and not only that, but very kindly stocked it with bug spray and band-aids for our climb up Santubong! Then, when we got a little stranded and couldn't get a taxi back, the hotel chef came to pick us up - couldn't believe how helpful they were. We did two activities while we were here (climbed Santubong and a day at Bako) and they organized everything for us at VERY reasonable prices. We spent no time at all making our own arrangements, which made the weekend super enjoyable and relaxing. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. We've been to the Kuching area three times and this is by far and away the best place we've stayed - and in all my travels, the best customer service I've ever received from a hotel! "Slow Villas and Spa: "Made our honeymoon memorable"
"We spent 5 days of our honeymoon here and enjoyed every second! The staff were super helpful and friendly, providing detailed maps with places to go and eat - they even packed us a lunchbox for a day trip to Lombok. The room itself is very clean, bed comfy and all amenities great - loved the outdoor shower! Being able to hire bikes is a great idea (although I think this should be a free service). The breakfasts are amazing! So much choice and was delicious (those crepes!), and room service/delivery for those rainy days was handy. Overall we can't fault Slow Villas in any way. I would definitely stay again when visiting Gili Air. Thank you!"Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful place, thoroughly recommend"
Set on the river in an expat area, gorgeous French villa with giant pool and lively restaurant, service is great, but unobtrusive - shuttle bus into town and lots of staff information and where to eat/shop. Did a Chu chi tunnels tour with Les rives and they pick you up at the jetty - loved the place!
What happiness to have chosen this hotel for 3 nights in Ubud. I had heard so much noise in the city that I had decided to be a bit outside. Beautiful views of the rice fields. I stayed in a deluxe room. All rooms have views of the rice fields. Lots of charm in decoration. Warning only bathtub in the bathroom if He is apparently so go to the bungalow (shower and bath). A small dej to die. jams to die for .... The restaurant is excellent too. A very good chef director Karine fuss of these customers A short Paradis
