Sea Dance Resort: "An island on the island"

Review by: majaheintze | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed ten days at the sea dance resort and had a perfect time there. The resort is really beautiful, very quiet and charming. And Poy and his team were all so friendly, attentively and helpful that it felt like staying with friends. The food at the restaurant was just excellent, the best we tasted on our Thailand journey. Thank you all so much for the great service, we will defintely come back."

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "If you need a place to forget time"

Review by: tzewei | Source: Trip Advisor
"Imagine classical music playing while you are having delicious homemade breakfast , watching the green fields and mountains looming over the horizon. Imagine privacy, luxury and great hospitality combined, as you relax in a refreshing pool and bath in the sun. Imagine, different spots within the resort that you could slow down, read a book, feed the fish and realign your thoughts. That, is Rice and Zen. This resort has it all. This was a perfect place to spend my birthday with a couple of close frens. Recommended to rent a car for ease of convenience and to try out other fabulous restaurants such as Arbutso and Vivobene"

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Beautiful traditional house/inn in traditional Bukchon neighborhood – wonderful to stay and wander nearby"

Review by: lorilander | Source: Trip Advisor
"This beautiful traditional house (hanok) is set on a side street off Bukchonro road in the center of the Bukchon neighborhood. A convenient subway stop (Anguk Station) is about four blocks away. Rakkojae's four rooms surround a quiet courtyard. The are four rooms are lovely – each different. We had the smallest room, but it came with a lovely wooden porch overlooking the peaceful and beautiful courtyard. We sat on the porch to read in the morning and afternoons. We also had delicious breakfasts on the porch (we chose the delicious Korean breakfast, but Western is also available). You can arrange to have a Korean dinner served on the porch or in your room – we chose the Galbi dinner, which arrived with many small dishes (panchan) and chapchae (noodles) -- everything was delicious and beautiful. There is a small sauna tucked into the hanok – woven mats on the floor and patterns of cherry blossom trees on the walls. The manager Mr. Kim is friendly and helpful. He provided us with ideas and recommendations as we planned our explorations around the Bukchon neighborhood. We loved staying in the Bukchon neighborhood - fun, with a mix of old beautiful traditional buildings and cute and trendy clothing shops and coffee shops. Two palaces are close by (Gyeongbokong Palace and Changdeokgung Palace) as well as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and many art galleries (in Seochon neighborhood nearby). There are also small traditional handcraft workshops to visit. Because of the convenience of Anguk Subway Station and the efficiency of the Seoul subway we were easily able to use Bukchon as our base to explore all of Seoul. We were so happy with our choice to stay at Rakkojae and in the Bulchon neighborhood."

David’s Kitchen: "Wine tasting and apps to match each"

Review by: Dave M | Source: Trip Advisor
Absolutely fabulous!!!!! All the wines were great and the finger food, yum yum. Lamb lollipops, scallops, shrimp and pork. All terrific. The tasting cost 900 tb per person and well worth it. We're going back and have checked out the menu and have picked a 7 course tasting. We figure without wine it will cost 4,000-4,500 tb. Very expensive but we hope worth it. Well deserved reputation, we'll let you know if it's worth the cash. Bon Appetite!

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Love it to the bits"

Review by: Chintania B | Source: Trip Advisor
Went to Ubud for our minimoon. And It's our first time staying in a tent! We were surprised that it's actually a real tent! But amazingly, there wasnt any bugs or dust inside the room. And the room also had cool temperature due to natural wind. The view is amazing :) and The breakfast was also good!! And the lunch too, i had pasta there :) the service was also great! And they also provide shuttle bus to the downtown :)

Locavore: "Stunning food and flawless service!"

Review by: Leela B | Source: Trip Advisor
As professional chef and lover of all types of food, I was pleasantly surprised at the outstanding quality of the food, presentation and service at Locavore. Each dish was beautiful and delicious and sitting at the chefs counter made it even better as we could see the food being made and watch the silent precision behind the scenes. This meal is in my top three restaurant meals ( alongside The French Laundry, Napa Valley and Eden Hill, Seattle) of all time! I liked that the degustation size is small, as I left full but not overly heavy. In addition to the 5 course degustation we ordered we received no less than 6 amuse bouche and a whole tray of petit fours for dessert. The cocktails were awesome. This is a must do in Ubud! Thank you Locavore, I am inspired! Leela Brett

Glenburn Tea Estate: "What a stunning place"

Review by: Jonathan F | Source: Trip Advisor
"After a bad experience in one of the ""top"" hotels in Darjeeling itself, we came to the Glenburn a night earlier than we had planned. As soon as we arrived and got a very warm welcome from Alex we knew we would like it here. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated in a colonial style. After settling into our room tea and cake was brought down to us (another major plus as far as we are concerned). The staff were fantastic. Dinner was very civilised and the food was great. A 2.5hr trek down to the river was another highlight...it's quite a trek but we had a great guide and upon arrival one of the team was waiting with cool towels and a drink. We then had G&Ts and a delicious lunch served by the river bank. Magical. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back."

Poring Hot Spring Nature Reserve: "Well established hot spring and nature reserve"

Review by: HongYaw | Source: Trip Advisor
"The hot spring and nature reserve is pretty established, but im afraid a lil too developed. It has lost its own nature identity. The butterfly park, the rafflesia farm etc. Its a good nature reserve for family and elderly. If you are a nature and adventure seeker, this might be abit too developed. Kinabalu/ bako national park in Sarawak will be a better option No animals free roaming in the nature reserve, the hot spring too is filled in personal tubs. Alot of attraction need to pay extra. On the good side, do hike up for the waterfall. It is a pristine condition waterfall that pretty easy to reach. Alot of basic necessities are provided. Toilets, changing room, water supply are all kept in good condition."
