Satri House: "Fabulous hotel, charming and comfortable"
We spent 5 days with our 3 kids aged 10, 12, 14. I prefered Satri to the more expensive 5 stars hotels. Indeed, we found Satri house to be more charming because of the traditional asian style and the tropical garden. The hotel is also very comfortable with good amenities, wifi, and pool. The restaurant has both asian and french and is excellent. Good service also. Some small improvement ideas include mosquito net on the window, a place to dry cloth, more hot waters (only 1 bath capacity now)... but still fantastic hotel, highly recommendedTiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "To stay to write a book"
A wonderful place, at the foot of Annapourna in the Himalayas. How to forget it? The atmosphere is of absolute relaxation, 45 minutes (car or van) from the charming town of Pokhara. In this lodge the purity of the world's most impressive mountains breathe. Snowy summits eternally contrast with the more than enjoyable place microclimate. To stay to write a book. Accommodation includes full board, which allows share with other guests tables and dining terrace. Happy greeting at the airport and then in true Bali fashion a journey of faith to get to your hotel, through by roads and back roads but was that faith rewarded!! Entering the Tugu you enter old magical Bali and it remains that way for your whole stay. Our suite, while expensive was somewhere we could hang out most of the day if we chose with our own little garden and swimming pool. The hotel gardens are beautiful during the day and enchantingl at night. The staff were, without exception, charming and helpful and yoga and the spa a real treat. Loved the food and had the majority of our meals in the hotel. Don't all rush as we want to go back when we can!!Cuca: "If Cuca was 10,000 miles closer to home I would eat there all the time"
Cuca is worth every one of its superlative ratings. Wonderful atmosphere, unique tapas style menu with great selections, a fine staff all at a good value. What more could a person ask for?Yandabo Home: "By Irrawaddy River"
A little home with comfort next to a quite little village where entire villagers produce pottery. Please take time to visit and exchange with the community. This is a small hotel of 7 rooms overlooking the Mekong river. Our suite had 3 rooms all comfortable and well kept. There is no pool. The hotel restaurant is on the top floor and has spectacular views across the Mekong Delta. What sets this hotel apart though is the excellent staff who clearly enjoy having you as a guest.Samanea Beach Resort: "Great place"
The pier is the star attraction, best place in Kep to experience sunset and because of the small amount of rooms available the resort is never crowded, there are always available beds around the pool. "Ein kleines Schmuckstück im nirgendwo! Wir haben die kleine Auszeit zwischen vollgepackten Tagen in den größeren Städten sehr genossen! Die Zimmer sind unglaublich geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber! Service war schon fast unangenehm gut;)... es sprangen so viele Service Personen um uns herum aber trotzdem diskret wenn wir unsere Ruhe haben wollten! Frühstück war für uns das beste in ganz Myanmar! Auch das es kein Internet gab fanden wir eher sehr positiv! So habe ich mal die Zeit nutzen können alles erlebte in Ruhe aufzuschreiben! "Without doubt, the room in Tugu Bali is one of the best we ever stayed. Everything was design to the utmost details to represent Indonesian (Java) beauty. We only stay in the Rejang Suite Ocean view for one night on the last leg of our adventure in Bali. The location in Pantai Batu Bolong, Canggu is rather secluded, but busy with surfers. Perfect for honeymooners. The staff are extremely helpful and polite; from the reception, bellboy, gardener, waiters. Definitely we want to come back and spend more time there "
