Muang La Lodge: "A gem away from the crowds"
"If possible go for a river view room, where you can idle any free time watching the world go by. The managers look after your every need and the place is spotless although the bathroom wasn't quite up to the high standard as the rest of the room; everything worked but just didn't look great, the whole area was done out in sort of polished green concrete. The food at dinner is Lao French fusion - beautifully presented but we did find it a little bit bland and beige, although as it's a set menu, I appreciate that they have to cater to provide meals that everyone can eat. Breakfast was from a menu, not a buffet and simply excellent. Drinks a tad pricey. We had a 5 hour trek which was thoroughly enjoyable and a 2 hour one which wasn't so good. Make the effort to get up early to see the monks going out to collect alms, about 7am, it's nothing like the circus in Luang Prabang, just very quiet and dignified. Overall, a very good experience. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Excellence personified"
"My wife and I went to on safari with Noel and his team and the service, food, the quality of the room/tent attitude of the staff were fantastic I cannot fault it. In addition their expertise in the Safari were outstanding, they identified a number of animals, leopards and elephants that a number of the other tours missed while they were rushing around to find a leopard! Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Supanniga Eating Room: "A Worthwhile Visit"
"Received a very warm welcome from all the staff while walking up to the third floor. Everyone was smiling which was great. The seating was rather uncomfortable although the food made up for that shortcoming. Excellent quality of Thai food with authentic flavours. Staff were well mannered and efficient given our large group of 10 with 2 children. Also, the Italian red wine we had as a house pouring wine was excellent at the price. An easy drink and memorable too. Would come back again when next in Bangkok."Tugu Bali: "One of the best hotels I stayed in"
This is by far one fo the best hotel I've stayed in. The room we had was comfortable and super spacious. The staff is what makes this hotel, they are very attentive and discreet. The pool is great, the food is delicious, the location is wonderful, right next to the beach and the Old Man's restaurant/beach bar. The massages were good too. I would definitely stay there again.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "First Class Food"
Great restaurant in Siem Reap. World class food. just excellent. highly recommended. if you are in SR you should def go here.tugu lombok: "A slice of tropical paradise"
"In a 3-week adventure around Bali and Lombok, the Tugu Lombok was our absolute favourite place that we stayed, hands down. The resort is stunning, the grounds are impeccable, the rooms are extraordinarily beautiful. The beach is white sand and turquoise waters. Every meal we ate (in both restaurants) was absolutely delicious. The breakfast spread is fantastic (with a particularly amazing fruit plate) and the assortment of snorkelling equipment, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards is a great way to pass afternoons on the water. Things are laid out so that you never feel crowded. But by far the best thing about Tugu Lombok is the staff. Everyone, from Sharon, the GM, and Henry, her right hand man, to the spectacular restaurant staff, spa team, housekeeping staff, and security, were the epitome of hospitality. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and polite, and everything they do is heartfelt and done with a smile. They anticipated our every need before we even expressed them and made us feel enormously welcome during our entire stay. We can't recommend this spot enough to anyone travelling to Lombok (and even if you're not, you might want to change your plans to include the Tugu). One small note on rooms - we had read through previous TripAdvisor reviews and decided to take the overwhelmingly consistent advice to splurge on a Bhagavat Gita suite and we were completely blown away by the beauty and design of these extraordinary villas. "Sukoon Houseboat: "Excellent place.."
Sukoon literally meant relaxation...one of d best houseboat in whole dal lake..they make sure u r pampered all along...any request for anything available is ready within minutes...and the staff is always welcoming with a smile...I stayed fr 2 days and me and my family enjoyed it thoroughly...keep up the good job.David’s Kitchen: "Best dining experience in Chiang Mai"
This restaurant is a must if you are in Chiang Mai. The food, service and overall experience were exceptional. David greeted us upon arrival to the restaurant and continued to check in on us throughout the meal. He and his staff made us feel like royalty. The food was second to none. Highlights included the pumpkin soup and wagyu beef cheek. We walked away with full stomachs and fuller smiles. We can't wait to come back next time.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Great staff, great views, enlightening walks"
Marcus Cotton and the rest of the Tiger Mountain family have created a unique oasis in one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Superb food, well stocked bar, appropriately appointed rooms and a morning view from the infinity pool that simply cannot be believed combine to let you relax from the bustle of Kathmandu and enjoy the rest of the country as you continue your trip after a few days. While Pokhara had its pleasures, we found the nature walk, particularly the interaction with locals (particularly children) from the homes scattered nearby, to be one of the highlights of our almost month long trip. We were there prior to the date in the TripAdvisor menu, but our travel agent says the location remains largely unchanged. When we talk about checking off all the bucket list places, and starting round two, Tiger Mountain is always the first location mentioned. We'll be back, Marcus...The Hue House: "Great place for authentic Hue cuisine"
Very nice rooftop view with the great astmophere, can make you feel like you're in Hue. The food was so awsome and exotic with stranger names like Cao Lau, com Am Phu... The owner is very funny and friendly.
