Villa Song: "Great service"
the hotel looks absolutely gorgeous. The original room they gave us smelt like damp but they quickly changed our rooms as soon as we raised the issue. The service was great and they will cater to your every needs, we had an early morning flight (7am) meaning we had to leave at 5am and the chef made us take away sandwiches. It’s the little details that count!Rachamankha: "Best stay in Chiang Mai"
"This was one of the most peaceful hotels that I have ever stayed in, it feels like a retreat where the soul is nourished away from the everyday hustle and bustle. The architecture, gardens and decor are amazing. In the morning someone comes to cut the grass with a pair of garden scissors instead of a lawnmower so the peace is just never disturbed. We had lovely meals in the restaurant and enjoyed every send of our visit and we will visit Thailand again for the third time just to stay in this hotel again."Le Passe-Temps: "Back to human values"
"This place is just a little paradise in a busy life time. The hosts are sinceres, human, warm, smiling and dedicated. Their team is their mirror, they make you feel home without being intrusive. A large choice of activities and amenities are offered, you can enjoy the time passes on the beach with book and drink, or a trip in their private boat..... At night you can drink fantastic cocktails and meet your neighbours to share your life, book, movie, emotional experiences. In the ""Passe temps"" the best human behaviors can be rediscovered!"Dewakan: "A wonderful experience!"
It's my first time trying the modern Malaysian cuisine and it was amazing. Never knew that our local ingredients can be so versatile. Kudos to the chef team for their adventurous experiments. Full of surprises and I did enjoy all the new flavors dancing on my palate. Love the wine and fermented beverages pairing.Rachamankha: "Peaceful place"
"This is a truly beautiful property. The space, design and interior flow have been put together with the eye of a master designer/collector. Every artefact has been carefully chosen and perfectly positioned. Everywhere there is harmony, serenity and something to delight the eye, such that it is impossible to take a bad photograph of Rachamankha! After the chaotic, steamy bustle of the streets of Chiang Mai it really is a delight to enter the enchanting courtyards of this lovely tranquil place. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Yandabo Home: "Great! Wonderful! Brilliant!"
"This is a small hotel right on the river. It's nestled among trees which does mean the inevitable wildlife around you (although we didn't see mosquitos!). The room we had was huge and wonderfully well equipped. The terrace area was comfortable and peaceful. The staff were very helpful and friendly (not always visible but never very far away). For a two night stay to see the villages it is a great base."MesaStila: "Great Place to Escape the Rat Race"
"We had 5 wonderful days at Mesa Stila to unwind. We were pampered by their staff from the moment we arrived on the property and when we were dropped off at the airport. Staff were helpful and gracious. The food was diverse enough to keep us at the resort and didn't feel to need to hunt elsewhere. We enjoyed yoga and coffee tour on site. Our combined sunrise Borobudur and Prambanan tour was effortless as Ruffian was a skilled driver with excellent English and shared interesting local knowledge with us. Definitely the way to tour temples if you have children. The Resort and Spa is not cheap by South East Asia standards but the experience was well worth the price if you are looking to re-energise in a tranquil place filled with traditional Indonesia buildings (relocated and rebuild from other parts of Java), expansive and lush grounds, views of nearby volcanic mountains and thoughtful staff. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Satri House: "Wonderful hotel"
This is wonderful hotel. We very enjoyed our 3 nights stay here. The scenery around the hotel is like in paradise with lovely garden and a swimming pool. The room is huge with traditional decoration and well equipped. Staff is amazing friendly and helpfulThe Village House: "Super!"
Me and my wife stayed there for 3 days, the first days of our honeymoon. It was one of the best accommodation of our Malaysian trip, it was super! Very relaxing and quiet! The staff was very helpful and the food is very good. The room is simple but very cool and romantic, the bath clean and... most of all you're in the jungle We recommend it! ;-)Rahai’i Pangun: "Fantastic four days up the river in Tanjung Puting"
"What else can I say that others haven't already said? WOW Borneo does an amazing job making sure your visit to Tanjung Puting will be one of your most memorable experiences ever. From the amazing, spacious Klotok boat, to the tasty and abundant food, to the little things like passing out a cool wash cloth when you return from shore, these guys are really and truly committed to their work. One really nice example: at the start of the trip we changed our plans to spend more nights on the boat rather than stay for a night at Rimba Lodge. Our friends at WOW handled the change gracefully and promptly wired back the funds I had pre-paid for the hotel. My only wish, and it's small, was to get more local historical and cultural insight (in English) from our guide, Pretty - who to be fair is relatively new on the job. Despite this I always knew our needs would be foreseen and met, and I know my companions came away from our rainforest encounter with a profound send of new awareness and inspiration."
