Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Unbelievably restful hotel"
The hotel is a small oasis of tranquility, beautiful rooms, great service, lovely beach and really attentive staff. The place is quite small and for a couple of days only 3 of the cottages were inhabited but even when 15 people were staying it was still calm and uncrowded. The pool is relatively large and there are plenty of beds there and in the garden. There is also a tailor on site and he copied a linen dress and a pair of linen trousers in less than a day perfectlyVilla Song Saigon: "Love the restaurant"
"Even when you don't stay in the hotel you still can come here for food and drink. The advantage when enjoy meals here is that you are served with 5 stars hotel level. Staff are very polite, well trained and pay attention to small details to satisfy you. About the view, this hotel owns the best view of Sai Gon river. Decorations are very well to make it different from restaurants around with full of green but not surrounded by mosquitoes as most of other river side restaurant. Breakfast, lunch or dinner here are equally good. But each moment has different beauty. When I want to enjoy my romantic relationship with my hubby, Villa Song always my first choice."Villa Idanna: "A tranquil place at the foot of Mount Agusng"
"I stayed at this villa for 3 days and it was awesome for someone who wants to have a quiet village experience. You wake up and saw the holy Mount Agung in front of the villa. There is no TV or other electronic media in the villa so you just enjoy the experience without disruption. The villa is served by 4 local staff from the area, in fact one staff lives in front of the villa. For the entire 3 days we were served with local Sidemen dishes and they were fantastic. During the day, a lot of tourists mostly expatriates were seen cycling or walking around the village. At the top of the hill, I went to visit ibu Dayu a friend of many celebrities like Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Walter Spies. Her house is also facing Mount Agung, we had lunch and enjoyed her company."Tugu Bali: "One of the best hotels I stayed in"
This is by far one fo the best hotel I've stayed in. The room we had was comfortable and super spacious. The staff is what makes this hotel, they are very attentive and discreet. The pool is great, the food is delicious, the location is wonderful, right next to the beach and the Old Man's restaurant/beach bar. The massages were good too. I would definitely stay there again.Muang La Lodge: "A magical property in a hidden oasis"
"Muang La Lodge was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Everything was splendid - the onsite hot spring baths, magnificent views, swimming pool on a private island in the river, well-appointed, luxurous rooms and wonderful variety of food. The staff were impeccable - the two young French managers, Raphael and Matilde, were outstanding in their work as our hosts, and the local staff who supported them couldn't have been more friendly and delight to be around. Every morning I awoke to the sound of the river going by and loved watching the scenes of natures beauty right outside my door. The little pet monkey, Cookie, who was rescued by the owner as a baby, was a great source of fun and delight for me also. We did some incredible tours of the local area through the Lodge guides. An absolute MUST if you are there. It made for one of the most special travel experiences of my lifetime. Travelling to the high country tribal villages was a as educational as it was magnificent. If you are after a holiday with a difference, this is truly the place to visit. I would recommend this journey to everyone."Slow Villas and Spa: "An absolute treatment"
"Staying at Slow Villas is such an experience ! I've been lucky enough to spend a few days there - and that was definitely too short. The villas are beautiful, solid construction, tastefully decorated, spacious, clean. The open air bathroom is beautiful, and the private swimming pool just in front of the bedroom is great, and even I didn't think it was really useful at Gili Air (the sea is less than 10 minutes away along a cute pathway), it's nice to cool off a bit that easily. Plus, breakfasts are awesome ! And the spa, God ! Clean, spacious rooms, a great choice of treatments to choose from, a professional service that considers your expectations and level of habit in massage, people are treating you with such a sweet care and a good professionalism at the same time, such a treatment ! The staff is so lovely as well, from Julie to her partners and all the team working on making you have such a great experience. No hesitation here : if you can afford it, even for 2 days, that will stay engraved in your memory for a loooong time ! Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"The Cabochon Hotel: "Hotel with an atmosphere"
"Cabochon Hotel is a hidden gem! A hotel with great service and unique atmosphere!. We spent 4 nights with our 3 young boys and everything was delightful, from check-in to assistance in dealing with activities, to great food. We enjoyed a 2 interconnecting bedroom which was ideal for the family. Swimming pool on the roof is the cherry on the cake and works really well with kids! Thanks again to the whole staff for making our stay in Bangkok a fantastic experience! Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Peace and tranquility"
Beautiful, beautiful, rural location. You feel completely out of touch of the modern world and utterly in touch with nature and your surroundings. Amazing spa, best massages of my life and beautiful products to be bought here. As a real yogi I loved the yoga on the beach every morning free of charge! The food was delicious and the staff were so accommodating to my slightly poorly stomach (from previously in my trip) and made me food of the menu to keep me perky!Supanniga Eating Room: "Awesome food and service!"
"We went back to Supanigga (Sathorn area of Bangkok) on our return to Bangkok, as it was our favourite restaurant of a two-week holiday. The food is fantastic, the restaurant has a good atmosphere and the service is quick and friendly. Staff also speak good English. The staff even flagged a taxi for us outside the restaurant to Chatuchak market. For people who want tasty, reliable and authentic Thai food at affordable prices, Supanigga takes some beating. Please note there are three Supaniggas in Bangkok and they are well spread out so don’t forget to book the closest one."Tugu Lombok: "a memorable stay"
"+ luxurious but not pretentious hotel, reasonably priced for such a wonderful establishment and good service + very helpful staff ready to go the extra mile for clients. we enjoyed every little attentions they gave us + 2 giant pools facing the sea and private white sand beach, plus free entertainment facilities make day time really enjoyable and peaceful + breakfast card is delicious and plus point is at any time of the day + we dined by the sea one night and the setting was very romantic. food is a bit pricier than outside but very reasonable given it s a 5 star establishment + easy access to the gili islands by boat + the tranquility of the place makes a perfect paradise for honeymooners and families or group of friends - remote from main touristic zone making the access a bit more complicated, but taxis are readily available and cheap. hotel car was about 3 times local taxi costs but offers more comfort - night time can get quite dark and a bit scary for fainted hearts - rain shower in the bathroom was a bit messy and water evacuation slow - ants. a lot of them in the bathroom. given it s an outdoor space, it can only be normal"
