Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Excellent"

Review by: Brian S | Source: Trip Advisor
"Beautiful setting. Less than 20 cottages spread out over a fairly large area so privacy is virtually guaranteed. Rooms are well appointed including a semi open bathroom in the garden view room we stayed in. Good dining options with the beachside restaurant our favourite. The beach itself is amazing running in both directions as far as the eye can see with not a soul in sight. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended."

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A special experience"

Review by: Andrew M | Source: Trip Advisor
This was I think my favourite hotel ever. It is beautiful, it is well run, it is well-located, its existence is crucial to the history and culture of Penang. The restoration is superb. It was a joy and privilege to stay here.

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "If you need a place to forget time"

Review by: tzewei | Source: Trip Advisor
"Imagine classical music playing while you are having delicious homemade breakfast , watching the green fields and mountains looming over the horizon. Imagine privacy, luxury and great hospitality combined, as you relax in a refreshing pool and bath in the sun. Imagine, different spots within the resort that you could slow down, read a book, feed the fish and realign your thoughts. That, is Rice and Zen. This resort has it all. This was a perfect place to spend my birthday with a couple of close frens. Recommended to rent a car for ease of convenience and to try out other fabulous restaurants such as Arbutso and Vivobene"

The Village House: "An amazing place – absolultely beautiful and run by the loveliest people"

Review by: LaurelG15 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"The Village House is an easy and traffic-free 40-45 minute drive from Kuching at the foot of Mount Santubong. It's absolutely beautiful - it's clear the owners have put tremendous thought and effort into creating a relaxing little oasis, and they've accomplished as much. The grounds are beautiful - very green and very relaxing with a luxury, boutique-y feel - when you see it, you can't believe how little they charge to stay here! The rooms are immaculate with gorgeous four-poster beds and well thought-out décor. The hotel is really, really gorgeous, but the highlight is the service - they went WAY above and beyond anything I've ever experienced. We forgot a backpack, so the owner lent us one - and not only that, but very kindly stocked it with bug spray and band-aids for our climb up Santubong! Then, when we got a little stranded and couldn't get a taxi back, the hotel chef came to pick us up - couldn't believe how helpful they were. We did two activities while we were here (climbed Santubong and a day at Bako) and they organized everything for us at VERY reasonable prices. We spent no time at all making our own arrangements, which made the weekend super enjoyable and relaxing. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. We've been to the Kuching area three times and this is by far and away the best place we've stayed - and in all my travels, the best customer service I've ever received from a hotel! "

Mathis Retreat: "Lo mejor del viaje"

Review by: aliciabascones | Source: Trip Advisor
"The site is wonderful, the extra staff helpful and amiable, the room was a small village with great privacy despite being next to the pool and restaurant. Life takes a different pace being there. Rice paddies, duck, peasants tilling the fields, the sunsets ... film. The very new room had every comfort, a spectacular tub and a huge, new shower. Hopefully we can come back some other time. Super recommended! "

villa song: "Postmodern Colonial Style Perfection"

Review by: Spangolo | Source: tripadvisor.com
"In district 2, Villa Song is perfectly located along the Saigon river with scenes of the rural outskirts and industrial trade by cargo ship directly before you, to give a sense of location and culture. Being slightly out of the centre of the city and right on the banks of the river, means the air there is a slightly more fresh. Villa Song is a mightily impressive building, reminiscent of a palatial colonial outpost, yet it is only a few years old. The service is exceptional and the catering is world class. The outdoor bar and dining area is truly lovely. You can only be made to feel special here and although we only stayed 2 nights, my Husband and I found this hotel to be faultless. A nice touch was the complementary mini bar, including water, juices, soya drinks and beer, and fresh tropical fruits. The fixtures and fittings are top quality too, solid and robust and classically designed...everything for your comfort. We adored our stay here."

Samanea Beach Resort: "Great location for relaxing break."

Review by: Jezbot2015 | Source: Trip Advisor
Great location, relaxed environment in a quiet seaside town. Crab market and seafront by short tuk tuk ride away. Resort restaurant had very nice food especially the cinamon toast at breakfast. Pool was nice and lovely waterfront views from jetty.

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Friendly, spacious, good service"

Review by: Yoothasart N | Source: Trip Advisor
Our family of five have stayed at Apsara Rive Droite on our trip 1-4 Dec 2017. The owner and manager team was very responsive in replying email and helpful. Khun Haan; a manager, took care of us very well and made us feel as home. We stayed in Deluxe River View Suites which were spacious and had a great view of Nam Khan river. The best part is also the quietness and serenity. We also booked tour to waterfall and were so surprised by hotel service that one staff accompanied us to take care of our family, I forgot his name, thanks to him too. On waterfall trip, hotel arrange us a great service and unforgettable luncheon. When we had some questions about place to see and to go, Khun Haan and his team was always helpful with nice recommendations and even arranged transportation for us. We really love Apsara Rive Droite. It was a fantastic experience for our family.

The River Resort: "Magical spot on the mighty Mekong"

Review by: SaigonSophie | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a peaceful and tranquil spot, views of the river and surrounding mountains are stunning. Sunrise over the water was mesmerising. Chamapasak is a sweet little town and Wat Phou, an enchanting temple complex, is a short moped ride away. The staff were charming and attentive and helpful.

Tugu Lombok: "Tropical paradise"

Review by: soil_management | Source: Trip Advisor
From the moment we were met at the airport to our departure all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Add into the equation a beautiful beach, amazing building and fantastic accommodation and you can see how this becomes a really memorable location for resting and relaxing. Plenty of tasty choices for meals whether you are eating in the main restaurant, on the beach, in the magnificent "wedding hall" or, as we did one evening, just the two of us up above the Hindu temple. Two large swimming pools, 1km of beach so opportunities for swimming and scuba diving. Our room has a plunge pool which was great for refreshing us. The outside bath was fun just sitting beneath the stars. We must go back.
