Jing’s Residence: "Little bit of paradise in Pingyao"
"The Jing's residence is a lovely hotel right in the center of Pingyao. Pingyao itself is quite noisy, however you don't hear this at all inside the hotel. We booked a courtyard suite, which was actually two courtyard rooms converted into one room, with bedroom, sitting room, walk in wardrobe and bathroom. All very nice and the complimentary mini bar was a nice touch too, plus there is a turn-down service on a night. We ate in the restaurant which it is the most expensive restaurant in Pingyao by far but we really enjoyed the food, service and having the entire restaurant to ourselves! would recommend. We also had the afternoon tea which contained a selection of savory and sweet finger food (local to the area), along with Chinese tea of your choice. The ginger and lemon tea is particularly nice! The staff at the Jing's are all very efficient, pleasant and happy to help - a feat you do not normally get in China so this makes it stand out straight away. Would 100% recommend this hotel, its worth the extra pennies!"Maison Polanka: "An oasis indeed"
This lovely sweet hotel is indeed an oasis. It's location is so strategically located to give us the best night sleep. Waking up in a garden made us feel at home. Value for the money is backed up by the very professional service. I personally like the service the Khmer staffs rendered to us. Amazing pool too! Try the food they serve. "As you go in the Satri House you start to feel this ""aura"" of relaxation. The beautiful Prince house and all the other buildings in the same French colonial style immerse in a well maintained gardens and all the art-craft and decoration really had a huge impact on me. I had 4 nights in a deluxe room and got a nice upgraded to a suite for the last 2 nights. Suite comes with both shower and bath and is beautifully decorated. Food was delicious, my favorite is the roast duck in red curry! Service need some language improvement here and there but overall there is always someone coming to assist if they notice there is a bit of miss-communication. going on.. I didn't try the Spa neither the swimming pool, a bit too cold for me but people coming from European winter they did enjoyed the pool. This hotel is beautiful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We've stayed 2 nights in Bangkok, we'd definitely come back to Cabochon. second trip to misool eco resort, and it just keeps getting better. getting to this place was quite a hassle a few years ago, but is now a breeze. better transfers, better boats, better hotel. same wonderful resort experience--world's best snorkeling, super guides, delightful accommodations, good food, friendliness all around. I saw new and wonderful creatures underwater, and every snorkel was a delight. an added dimension is learning about the work that this group is doing to conserve the natural treasures of this area, and to fight for the endangered sharks and manta rays.Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Memorable stay"
We stayed in room no. 1 just above the room that Angelina Jolie used to stay during her movie production this year. The room is spacious, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the salt water pool but has not enough time to try the massage by the scenic lotus pond. Very helpful and friendly staff. I was a little apprehensive as we drove down a dirt road and stopped at an old building which was really dark inside. Everything was not old, but antique, and of the best taste. A real treasure trove! Our room was splendid, and we much enjoyed the huge copper bath with its rain shower. The common buildings are spectacular, too, and the decor in the bar is brilliant. The staff, though not ultra-efficient, could not have been more attentive, and the food was very good. Having said that, one has to accept that Lombok has limited resources and that supplies sometimes run out. Massages were excellent, and we took advantage of the outings on offer, which were very well organised. This is a wonderful place to relax.Tugu Bali: "Romantic Stay!"
"Tugu was such a unique experience! I loved eating breakfast overlooking the ocean each morning as well as being steps from the beach! The room was nice and the service was excellent! I really love the coconut milk lattes in the morning! So good!! Tugu's service is 5 star! Even the driver has fresh fruit for you and water as you commute to the hotel. We were at the camp sit for a night in a tent and we had a safari. It was a greath journey. The hole set up was amazing and the guides really know a lot about wildlife. The food is delicious and the nature is wonderful.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Vénérable maison"
