Rachamankha: "Heavenly stay"
"This ranks as one of our family's favorite hotel stays. Rachamankha is a gorgeous, tranquil oasis that's well located in Chiang Mai. The property is large for the middle of town, artfully filled (in a minimalist way) with antiques and good attention to detail. We loved the pool (so welcome when temperatures go above 100°) and the library. It was near capacity but it always felt uncrowded and quiet. The staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are large and well appointed (but under air-conditioned - they could use more powerful units, and better bathroom amenities befitting a property of this type.) Breakfast is wonderful, made to order and set in a perfect, lovely courtyard. We're already planning to return. Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"Tugu Bali: "Amazing Experience. I love the TUGU!"
"I had a wonderful time during my short stay last week at Tugu Bali. When I return to, I'll certainly be staying again, and this time longer. Tugu Bali a beautiful and authentic hotel with a wonderful staff. I was traveling alone on this trip and I was truly sad my wife didn't get to experience this special hotel with me. From amazing breakfast to even better sunsets, if you're headed to Canggu Bali you want to go here. The experience was truly exceptional and one I will take with me forever... or at least until I return to Tugu."Chakrabongse Villas: "Stay in a prince’s palace"
This was built in the 19th century by a Thai prince. It's on a busy street and right next to the river. Once you get behind the gates, it's your own private palace. Pool, garden, decks overlooking the river. I think there are only about 9 rooms. It's pricey, but worth it. Our dinner was about a 7-course meal (prix-fixe), each one a delicacy. Took off my shoes at the gate and wandered around the rooms and gardens for all three days we were there.Dewakan: "Exquisite"
"The 10 course dinner menu is well-crafted and each course successfully tickled different areas of our taste buds. The meal starts with 4 complimentary snacks, followed by 3 appetizers, 4 main courses, 3 desserts & ends with Malaysian-flavored ice pops. These are served over a 3-hour period, which is good timing for me personally - lots of time for good, long conversations! Love the fact that each course is infused with Malaysian flavors, bringing these local ingredients to another level. The restaurant atmosphere was quiet and service was impressive - they were quick to response to our needs. However, there are limited tables and they only entertain reservations made online (check out their website). This restaurant is located in KDU College, Glenmarie - may be quite a distance from KL but convenient for patrons from Shah Alam & Subang Jaya. Overall, we had an enjoyable evening. It was definitely a great fine dining experience."Tugu Malang: "Tempo Doeloe feeling"
The hotel is a mixture of luxury and history. The rooms give a feel of the "good" (only for the Dutch) colonial old times, with the hand hammered baths. And the whole atmosphere is the hotel is friendly and service minded. The for is excellent and the hotel itself has a fantastic mix of antiquities within its walls (Chinese (most), Dutch and Indonesian. It was a pleasure going to the rooms with my 17 year old daughter and see her recognize drawings and pictures of Kublai Kahn and Sun Yat Sen. Great hotel.Babe: "Ludicrous name but delicious food"
Visited here with colleagues to celebrate the end of a tough project. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the tasting menu - it was very sophisticated! The view is also something to behold as well. It was pricy, but it’s not everyday you get to eat such good quality food, while looking at Kuala Lumpur in the distance. The Village House: "Borneo Adventure"
After 2 weeks of exploring Borneo this hotel provided the ideal rest and relaxation before flying home. We really enjoyed chilling out in the big recliners and the hammocks. Don't be put off by the initial setting, inside it truly is a gem and the food was the best of our whole holiday. The staff were friendly and the accommodation clean and tidy. Also don't miss the sunsets over the South China Sea.David’s Kitchen: "From the start you are made to feel that your dining experience matters to them as well."
Most of it has already been said it's not just an evening out it's an experience. David and his staff go out of their way to give you a memorable night out. We went twice the week we were in Chiang Mai missing out on some other restaurants we had planned to visit.Maduzi Hotel: "Oasis in busy Bangkok"
"Had an enormously big beautifully designed suite and an amazing stay at this peaceful place in the middle of mad Bangkok. Hotel has been designed with a good feeling for space and feng shui and even though it is a few years old, it is an intimate and personal place and feels, like you are staying at someone's private palace. Nice restaurants just around the corner, very close to BTS via Exchange Tower and there is parking for about 20 cars within the walls of the property, which is very unusual for Bangkok I believe. Next time in Bangkok we will be happy to stay here again. Thank you for everybody from the staff, who made our stay very special!"Chakrabongse Villas: "Great ambience…amazing place..magic gardens"
"We were invited to a private function at this amazing place on the river...you could see Wat Aron opposite...we are familiar with the area..but the view on the terrace..at 7 pm..sipping champagne..was as close to heaven I was going to experience..the stars, and sights of the is beautiful city of Bangkok. This must be the absolute wedding venue..the gardens, the flowers , the trees made it heavenly.. We had wonderful food...indoors and outdoors...the crab curry was so delicious I had three helpings...my husband said that I should have had also the chicken...the deserts were so good...and normally I am not a desert person..it was a delight Dinner setting..it felt as if for royality..."
