Tugu Bali: "F A N T A S T I Q U E !"

The cuisine is delicate, the prices are right, very caring staff. Every Thursday night, traditional dance (do not miss) you have 1 minute walk to the Batu Bolong beach for those learning to surf, waves in the morning and evening are perfect to do again!

Maduzi Hotel: "Suprising Find"

"Another Small Luxury Hotel booking . Arriving at the hotel I was a little worried . The entrance is unassuming and you walk past a small bar area to a very small reception area but the suite was great when we went upstairs. Large bedroom , separate lounge/ work area Good bathroom with jacuzzi and wet room shower , separate toilet and separate dressing area / walk in wardrobe, free mini bar with soft drinks and water and a great coffee machine. Only dislikes in the room were the quite fierce aircon which was difficult to manage, the glass screen door on the toilet ( not as private as one would wish) and also the bed ,as in many Thai hotels ,was on on the firm side . Breakfast was delicious and went on until 2.30 . Free tea and coffee available all day in the bar such a welcome after a day trekking around . The staff were able to organise an evening out suggesting a great alternative after a first choice was unavailable . They were unobtrusive but available whenever needed Situation just off the junction with Sukhumvit is perfect for BRT and MRT . Would definitely use the place again . Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Blissful luxury"

"Have just spent 3 nights in this breathtakingly beautiful part of Cambodia and can't recommend this place highly enough. The setting is serene and absolutely beautiful, surrounded by a forest rich with birdlife and native animals. The floating tents are very nicely appointed and comfortable. Thid is how camping should be! What made the stay for me was the excellent service provided by professional and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the focus is very much on the visitor enjoying their stay. From the restaurant staff to the guides who took us on a day tour to the waterfall, the staff are friendly and more than happy to share information about this beautiful region and their culture. The food was amazing with a changing set menu and lots of a la carte options, utilising local fresh ingredients. A good range of wine, beer and spirits is also on offer. The concept of no tv, no telephones and no internet may be challenging for some however the opportunity to sit and watch river life and the natural environment is priceless. This was the highlight of my Cambodia trip and I can't recommend this experience highly enough"

Inle Princess Resort: "Beautiful hotel on the water"

We absolutely loved our time at the Princess Beautiful and large room with a fire lit each night. Stunning view over the lake. Excellent spa treatments. Restaurant was rather disappointing as lacking atmosphere after 8pm. Definitely a 60+ resort Stay here or the Aureum

This camp is one of my best experience during my journey in Sri Lanka. I can really recommend this place. Everything is very good organized, everyone from staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic! Best food ever in whole Sri Lanka. Price is absolute justified. Safari trip was very nice too, staff is very competent, even on safari are drinks and snacks organised!

We had a great time not the least because of the great staff. A truly beautiful place with a very special atmosphere. Lovely decorated modern rooms with traditional elements in place. And a great restaurant

Heritage Suites: "Perfect Place to Spend the Rest of My Life… If only I could"

My sister and I shared a bungalow suite and felt very much like queens. She's used to 5-star service, but I'm still a little awe-struck. The room was large with a sitting room, private outside area, and a large king sized bed, with a sturdy mattress and high quality bedding. The service was wonderful. While all of the staff were friendly and helpful, stand-outs for our stay were Sim and Sippa. They were both very attentive to our needs, and suggested things when we asked questions, and Sippa was able to find several options when we told her we wanted to see an Apsara dance. Breakfast is included and is delicious. The coffee was wonderful, the fruit ripe and tasty and the mini croissants and pain-au-chocolats crafted the French way. We ate at the restaurant for dinner once, and we all loved the food. I'm a vegetarian and the chef made sure I could eat eggs and added one to my rice and veggie dish. Tip- get the passion fruit sorbet. To Die For. The pool was lovely and we had drinks two afternoons in a row sitting by the pool. We also got massages while there- they are excellent for relaxing massages but if you're going in for some kind of sports, technical, injury related massage, my advice is to wait for your regular masseuse and enjoy their relaxing massages, which are very good. We had a wonderful time and hope to return one day. The return flight about killed me, but this place is worth another visit.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "An exceptional Ayurvedic experience and Lotus Houseboat trip!"

My husband and I traveled from Canada to India recently and had the great pleasure of staying six nights at Neeleshwar Hermitage, two night of which were spent on the exceptional Lotus Houseboat cruising the backwaters of northern Kerala. We were transferred to Neeleshwar from the airport in Mangalore, a two or three hour drive. Our accommodation in Neeleshwar was exceptional, and the meals provided in our package were delicious and definitely very gourmet. We had booked an Ayurvedic all-inclusive package, and we enjoyed our helpful consultation with Dr. Suma on the premises. We thoroughly enjoyed our yoga and meditation sessions, and our massage masters (Indu and Arya and an excellent young man at the Priya Spa for my husband) were pleasant and competent. Mr. Sasi was the manager of food and beverage, and his team was excellent, including Dipin and Jayan. Dipin even recognized us when we visited Kanan Village nearby for the Thayyam Festival, and came over to speak with us! Shri Anil Kumar was an excellent Yoga / Meditation teacher, both skilled and wise. Mr. Jayan was an excellent manager, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous musical evening that he organized for the guests. Our two nights on the Lotus Houseboat were calm and relaxing, far superior to the very, very busy houseboats that operate out of Alleppey and cruise the southern backwaters. Captain Vinod, Chef Dinakaran, and Guide Sugesh were all exceptional, and we are very grateful to have met them. We visited a coir factory and a local village with Sugesh, and my husband enjoyed a village cycling excursion as well. Neeleshwar Hermitage was a great pleasure and we thoroughly enjoyed our six nights there, and can highly recommend this experience to other travelers!
