Tugu Lombok: "A really special place"

Review by: Stephenadler | Source: Trip Advisor
"This hotel is unique in its' blend of Asian antiques, classical and modern design, creative use of the old while maintaining the highest level of comfort and modern amenities. The staff is over the top. They will make you feel welcome and will help you achieve almost anything your heart desires. And they make you feel that they sincerely care about you and your enjoying their hotel/island/culture. I developed an external ear infection from swimming and the manager literally hooked me up with a pharmacy and helped me get medicine for it within minutes of hearing of my problem. You will not forget your stay here, ever."

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "The Best"

Review by: Ellen H | Source: Trip Advisor
"Just go! It's THE Best. I would suggest spending at least a week. We only got 4 days, and it wasn't enough. I can't wait to go back. The staff, food, and rooms were all wonderful. As far as Baans go, I'd recommend Baan Tamarind. It's location is awesome, and it's very private. Also if you like to snack get some from the mainland to bring. There isn't much snack wise, and it can get expensive to buy what snacks there are. "

The Hue House: "Hard to find paradise"

Review by: Musicbones | Source: Trip Advisor
"What a beautiful magical spot!! You couldn't ask for a more perfect way to cap an evening after a hectic day in Ho Chi Minh City. You have the feel of walking into a Buddhist Temple from a Japanese garden - except it is perched on the 10th floor overlooking the city you just conquered. The authentic Vietnamese food did not disappoint. We were waited on by helpful staff in traditional dress. We were the only ones there our night - perhaps, because it was rainy outside, perhaps, because it was hard to find, or, perhaps, it is just too new and hasn’t built up the word of mouth. Please, help them and go, you will feel very lucky to have had the opportunity. Getting here is the trick. We never saw a sign. All we found was a security guard to one of the buildings on this short block - just east off the Turtle Fountain/Pond. It is the big steel & glass office building - go into the lobby and press the 10th floor from the elevator. It takes you to paradise."

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Magical stay"

Review by: Mariken v | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent 2 nights at Tiger Mountain but it could have been much more. Superb stay from our first pick up and welcome to our goodbye. From Pokhara it is about 40 min drive up the mountain on a typical Nepali road but then you arrive in an tranquil oasis where you will only hear the birds. Lodge is located on a mountain with sweeping views over Pokhara valley on both sides. Rooms have amazing views towards the Himalayas, perfect for sunrise watching (they will serve coffee/tea and cookies at about 5.30 in your room to accompany the sunrise) Upon our arrival, the lunch table was set on the terrace with a view to the Himalayas and we were served delicious Nepali dishes. Tea was served in the afternoon with home made snacks. Followed by happy hour at 6 and diner around 7.30. Again with delicious Nepali dishes. Had amazing jackfruit curry, some sort of stir fried ferns, spinach dish, home made chutneys, water buffalo curries. I think I would have exploded after a week at the lodge as I had to finish everything. Quality of the food is fantastic, all organic, grown in the area, fresh and everything home made. Even the herbal tea came from their own garden. In the morning there was home made yoghurt with homemade muesli, homemade jams & preserves, honey from Pokhara, homemade bread. Yummy. The lodge offers guides to take you for walks according to your liking. We did a village walk around the hotel and the next day a ridge walk where we had beautiful views over the rice terraces, villages and Himalayas. The guide took us through villages and explained about village life. Staff at the lodge is fantastic: friendly, helpful and offering great service. There is a swimming pool with again magical views, certainly in the early morning you can see the Himalayas reflected in the water. It is a shame it is so far away from Hong Kong otherwise I would be back for a relaxing long weekend. And there is only wifi in the lobby (if it is working, this is Nepal) so relaxing is really good as you can't connect to the outside world! Show less Room Tip: Room 11, a triple room, at the end of the resort with uninterrupted views. Room 10, double room, abo... Stayed: April 2017, traveled with family"

Heritage Suites: "Beautiful Oasis in this Amazing Place"

Review by: JJTales | Source: Trip Advisor
The wonderful feeling of this hotel began at the airport when you are collected in a vintage Mercedes - they give you a cool wet towel and a long cool drink. The hotel is slightly off the beaten track but it is such a beautiful place to return to at the end of a day of sightseeing and the peace and tranquility are priceless. We would not stay anywhere else. The staff were so accommodating (even when the roads outside flooded and they had to sandbag the entrance). The General Manager was always around and smiling and was so interested in what the visitors had to say. We had a bungalow which is larger than you will get anywhere else and had all the conveniences you could want or need. The pool and the food just completed the entire wonderful package. I didn't want to leave

Slow Villas and Spa: "Luxurious Retreat"

Review by: Lindsey S | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed three nights in the 2 bedroom/2 bath villa at Slow and had an amazing time! The accommodations are wonderful and very private - comfortable beds and very clean. The outdoor bathroom allows you to take a shower under the stars! There was so much attention to detail, including beach hats and bags, head lamps, and a cell phone left in the rooms for our use. Bottled drinking water is provided and is refilled as needed at no additional cost. There was a free pilates class offered every other day and our stay included a 30 minute massage for each person. Bikes are available for rent at a reasonable cost. It is also possible to order food to be delivered to your villa or have a chef come to your villa to cook for you. Julie, one of the owners, is super accommodating and helpful. She helped us to plan our next destination in Lombok and very graciously made sure that all of the plans were secured before we left. The location of the property is on a dirt road (like all of the ""roads"" on the island) about a 5 minute walk to the beach. If you go out for dinner, you will probably need to walk about 15-20 minutes to reach a restaurant. Take flashlight and mosquito spray with you, as there are no street lamps, but it still felt very safe. The villa area is locked up at night and there is someone on duty to provide security. Breakfast was included in the stay and delivered to the villa each morning. There were about 6 different breakfast options to choose from. The food was delicious and such huge quantities! What a treat! If you want to be pampered and relax, this is the place for you! Thank you, Julie and all other staff at Slow Villas for an amazing time on Gili Air!"

Mie Cafe: "Best Fusion Khmer Cuisine"

Review by: Best127 | Source: Trip Advisor
Highly recommended for those who wish to try fusion Khmer cuisine presented in the most honest-to-goodness way. Friendly service staff and worth to pay a visit to experience this distinctively unique taste. We will be back again!

CABOCHON: "French Indochine Chic"

Review by: Peter T | Source: tripadvison.com
"This hotel is set in an elegant period building down a quiet lane. It has a 1920s period styling with a bit of big game hunter and French colonialism thrown in for good measure. It's not an all-out luxury hotel. It's more an experience hotel, and I had a great experience. IT's like going back in time to a by-gone period which a jarring and interesting juxtaposition from the hustle and bustle happening less than 100m on Sukhumvit. Choose this for a unique boutique experience in central Bangkok. "

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazig"

Review by: bex67 | Source: Trip Advisor
Absolute heaven on earth. Beautiful location and the staff are all wonderful. You completely relax here. It is definitely one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. The tents are really comfortable with everything you could want. The trip to the Tatai Waterfall was a particular highlight. We also did the 7.00 am trek - although we didn't see any wildlife, it was still very enjoyable and the boat ride back to the Lodge was really beautiful.
