Tugu Bali: "Our new favourite hotel in Bali"
If you're looking for something special, unique and authentic then Tugu is it! A truly wonderful experience all round. Our accommodation was lovely. We stayed in the Dedari Suite and we're lucky to have not just a plunge pool , but an extended view through reeds across a pond and beyond to a nearby temple. We could even get glimpses of the surf! The staff were amazing, the gardens and buildings incredible. A wonderful way to immerse yourself in Balinese history. The attention to detail is everywhere, right down to the metal elephant door knobs in the public restrooms. Trying one of Tugu's cultural banquets is highly recommended. The recently opened Ji restaurant and bar is also destined to be a winner. Good food and drinks in a very quirkily exotic bar.MesaStila: "Tranquility"
"Tranquil and relaxing this retreat has everything you need for a break from the ordinary. My husband and I just returned from a four fabulous nights at MesaStila, its low season so not very many other guests but all the facilities were available and we were kindly upgraded to an Arum Villa. A large breakfast each morning filled us till tea time, both of which are included in the room price. Dinners were a very good selection of both asian and western foods but i'd highly recommend sticking with the Javanese dishes that the chef, Arya Kusumaatmaja, prepares so excellently. each day has an assortment of activities that are included such as , yoga, coffee plantation tour, martial arts, etc. and there are many optional tours you can book. The staff were all very friendly and professional, the village tour we took with one of the staff( I'm sorry I don't have his name to hand) was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and brought us to several small cottage industries that are well 'off the beaten track'. I've already recommended this place to my expat friends who travel extensively throughout asia and I look forward to going back again someday "Villa Song: "You Have to Stay HERE!!"
"Apologies for the late review but I had to get around to writing a little something about this wonderful hotel. We stayed her in July for five nights. We arrived at about 9.45pm after a seven and a half hour flight feeling a bit 'blah' only to be told that the kitchen had remained open for us to order dinner. How cool was that? So our first night was spent by the river, looking over at Ho Chi Minh, thinking ' we make the right choice here'! Our entire stay was really faultless. Friendly staff, lovely food and fabulous pool staff made our first stop off in Vietnam a 100% success. We arranged our private tours to Chu Chi Tunnels and a day trip around the city through the hotel and they were super choices. I remember now, on this cold dark November evening in Dublin, how lucky we were to have visited the wonderful, lively, exciting city of Ho Chi Minh and if your lucky to plan a trip there, stay at the Villa Song, its absolutely perfect. Thank you to everyone there for making our stay so lovely,"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Unbelievably restful hotel"
The hotel is a small oasis of tranquility, beautiful rooms, great service, lovely beach and really attentive staff. The place is quite small and for a couple of days only 3 of the cottages were inhabited but even when 15 people were staying it was still calm and uncrowded. The pool is relatively large and there are plenty of beds there and in the garden. There is also a tailor on site and he copied a linen dress and a pair of linen trousers in less than a day perfectlySupanniga Home: "Nice peaceful homey relaxing place in winter"
My family visit here in winter. we will come back again. Love it. Nice food and service. Unbelievable tradition delicious Eastern Thai food in Konkean(a North-East province). Recommend you to visit here in winter.Villa Song Saigon: "Great riverside hotel in Ho Chi Minh city"
"Highly attentive and professional staff. Really great setting next to the river where you can watch the fascinating array of boats go past. Really great room and a nice pool to chill by when not out sightseeing. Breakfasts are great too. Stayed November 2016, traveled with family"KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "A great place to stay at Koh Samui"
"I and my partner spent five days at Khwan Beach Resort and our experience was nothing but fantastic. This is a small resort run by competent, kind and diligent people (Gaelle, Nittaya, Sai and Margot) who will make everything to fulfil yur wishes. Located literally at a two minute walk away from Mae Nam beach, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxed holidays, surrounded by nature, nice villas each with its own private swimming pool, and (walking distance) close to restaurants, convenient stores, fresh fruit markets, etc. I will definitely return to this place. Mind you however that the resort has just initiated construction works for a restaurant which may cause some inconvenience during the day. Therefore, if you are planning to stay there, contact one of the managers (Gael or Margot) for more details "Samanea Beach Resort: "It’s gorgeous place!"
Manager who was very kindly friendly with their guests. The room look like older but seems to be based traditional structure of the local citizen. The outside bathroom is definitely a unique feature. The resort was very silence that you could heard some songs from insects in night time hi hi hi. The beach that where you maybe swim but watch sunrise or sunset then that is a great experience. The long wharves that made me better feeling as on the sea by my foot. The food was so good. There are not many rooms in this resort with their large site, almost of them for tree, swimming pool. With kindly noted, the resort must control better against mosquito. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.
When you are done with the temples in Siem Reap or the noisy city life of Phnom Penh this is the perfect place to relax for 2-3 days. There is nothing bad to say about 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. Great staff, fantastic general manager, delicious food, beautiful rooms and pure peace in a plastic free environment. You will love it. It takes time to get there but it’s worth the trip.
