Pindaya Farm House: "A wonderful, relaxing time"
Aye Aye, her husband and team at Thahara Pindaya couldn't have been more welcoming. The accommodation and food were fantastic and the walks and sightseeing gave us a small insight to a spectacular, fantastic, friendly country. Thank you!Sanak Retreat Bali: "Peaceful & magical"
"Stayed as a family (kids 5, 9 & 11) for a long weekend (3 nights). Stayed in a two-story family villa that was spacious and cozy, with beautiful rice paddy views. Kids chased frogs at night with flashlights and splashed in the pool during the day. Playroom above the restaurant and the pétanque court in the back were great additions! Excellent food & service, superb massages - also for kids, which is rare and ours loved it! Did the walking tour in the rice paddies and nearby village, including a swim in the waterfalls - it was wonderful. Also did the trip to Danau Tambligan, which was interesting, and the Munduk waterfalls. The sunsets are amazing, and the peaceful surrounds make for a perfect R&R destination. We will be back! "Mume: "Knocked it out of the park!"
"we ordered 2 appetizers- Oysters and tartlets, 3 small dishes- prawns, waygu tartare and beef tongue and 2 big dishes- amadai fish and beef cheek. 2 deserts - Cucumber sorbet and passion fruit cake. 1 bottle of water and 2 glasses of wine. Oysters and tartlets were both very good. Prawns, tartare and beef tongue were excellent. Amadai fish and beef cheek were nothing short of amazing. Deserts were also very creative and tasted great. I mean when was the last time that you thought of cucumber as a desert ? This is a restaurant that is truly deserving of a 5 star rating."Talabgaon Castle: "Simply Wonderful"
"We arrived late in the evening and still enjoyed a very warm welcome from staff, The music, food, and ambiance were a very special treat. The Castle is simply beautiful. I awoke for sunrise, with light shining through the many stain glassed windows that adorned my bedroom. I wandered about the property, enjoying the light as it rose above the Castle. A staff member wished me a warm good morning, and took time to show me more about the Castle. A very special treat! Talabgaon Castle is a very tranquil place with attentive staff ... it's a great place to escape the business of over places in India. Breakfast was home cooked - welcomed and tasty. I also enjoyed a cup of coffee in my room prior to heading out to explore. I enjoyed finding the many fresh flower potpourri vessels, as well as a few peacock sitings! It was a visit to remember, for sure. I only wish we could have stayed for at least another day. The drive to the Castle may seem a bit lengthy, but in my opinion it's well worth it. Take time to enjoy the India experience along the way! The journey ... and the destination ... is the reward. Enjoy!!!"Nimmu House: "Paradise in Ladakh"
"I stayed in Nimmu House during a trip in Ladakh organised with a group when we had to go trekking. We stayed in Nimmu before and after our trek. This place was so peaceful and it was the perfect place to have a little rest. We stayed inside the tent in the garden which are just amazing and cosy with all facilities and much more than what you could expect after trekking in Ladakh. The inside of the house is also very special and has his own story which is quite interesting. At night, we enjoyed the bonfire and nice drinks outside all together. Food is very wonderful thanks to Maya and menu is different everyday. We had Chocolate Mouss, Chocolate Pie and also Lemon Pie which is so nice French people The atmosphere is very friendly in Nimmu house :) Manon, her husband and Audrey take good care of their customer and are always available to discuss with you about any enquiries you have regarding the services, the house or any kind of thing. I really like to thank all of them for this wonderful stay in Nimmu which was so special for me as it was my birthday and they made it so nice for me :)"Jing’s Residence: "Not to be missed"
"If you wish to visit Ping Yao while in China, this hotel is THE place to stay. It is, in fact, worth the trip, all by itself. The classic beauty of the old town and a stay at Jing's Residence combines for an unforgettable experience. Aline Wilson "Tugu Malang: "Tugu or not Tugu? Gu! And quickly!"
"If we had to give an example of what a dream hotel would be, well... the Tugu Malang would come in handy! The crazy dreams of an art lover reside in this hotel where you feel at home very quickly. The decoration is just unbelievable, and would deserve a special edition of any decoration magazine. The deluxe room we had was very nice. The staff is very friendly and efficient, even if you are not staying in a suite. The cycling tour with John is perfect! The complimentary tea + + is fab! The swimming pool is great! The guided tour is very interesting. Go! You won't be disappointed!"The Cabochon Hotel: "A refreshing change"
"If you are looking for a change from the normal 5 star hotel experience then I would really recommend the Cabochon. The hotel has a colonial era boutique theme and it is done very well. The food in the restaurant is very good and cocktails and Gin and Tonics (they are a specialty) in the library before dinner are also excellent! The location just off Sukhumvit road is also very convenient. Its not right in the centre of the shopping district but its close to a BTS station and it is nice to be a little out of the way. We also enjoyed the roof-top pool. The other important feature of the hotel are the staff. They were all very enthusiastic and helpful We are looking forward to returning to the Cabochon next time we are in Bangkok"MATHIS RETREAT: "Best place in Ubud"
"My wife and I stayed at the Kenanga for our honeymoon in Ubud. The place has a unique charm, and is very relaxing. The rice fields in front of the infinity pool and the restaurant are breath taking. The staff is so friendly and always smiling. They made sure that we were satisfied From the moment we arrived until we left. We would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Ubud. "Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Total paradise and relaxation exceeding expectations"
"This was our first visit to this amazing resort. The journey there, from the welcoming sign at the airport, to a quick efficient drive to our boat to the bay, exceeded our expectations. The arrival view was mesmerising: a wide open bay with a vast long sandy beach with a little hut for lunchtime and a yoga sala, and of course dense nature. Massi, the manager, embodied true professionalism. He welcomed us to our beautiful house Baan Tamarind and gave us thorough details about the resort's amenities. Our house was beyond our expectations. With two stunning bedrooms both with an amazing view of the sea, and stunningly designed outdoor bathrooms, we also had an amazing living space upstairs as a canope amongst trees with a sunset view everyday! The food was probably the peak of the stay. The Club House has been renovated in a spacious way that makes you feel at home away from the busy city life. There is a new menu EVERYDAY (something rare in the hotel industry where after a few days, you run out of culinary options) with completely different meals - each very distinct and deliciously made at defying prices for the quality. The staff constantly walks around with smiles on their faces and are always available if you have an inquiry. The morning buffet and cooked meals are my favorite. You get to sit outside or inside (your choice, although I recommend outside due to the beautiful sea view) and make your own freshly squeezed juice. They have an amazing tea selection and of course the fruits are exquisite. I specially recommend their Thai omelette with rice - a must have during your stay, truly a taste of Thailand! I cannot describe the joy I felt when going to get massages. Porn and Poy are possibly the kindest ladies and although they may seem gentle based on their graciousness, their hands work wonders. I have had back problems for quite some time and honestly, felt rejuvenated every time I came out of the massage sala! The Thai massage is a must. In all, the hotel was anything I could have asked for. You are truly immersed in nature, at night hearing the strangest most relaxing sounds from this rich ecosystem to walking on their vast empty white sand beach with a light breeze brushing against you in the bright sun. Room Tip: Sea front views are the most rewarding due to the proximity to the beach and stunning view!"
