4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Heaven on Earth"

Review by: Marlenewk | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed 3 nights and arrived yesterday back in Phnom Penh and today I wish we were back in the tranquility of 4 Rivers. We have travelled all over Asia and met many wonderful people but the people at 4Rivers are absolutely the BEST. I wasn't sure about staying in a floating tent plus it was a 5 hour car ride but it was worth it and so glad to have this experience. The manager greeted us upon arrival and the moment I met her, I felt that we were with friends as that is how she and the entire staff make you feel. The tour guides were fantastic and they shared their personal lives with us and it was so great to actually see a member of the staff home and meet his family. The trip over to the village was fantastic as this is real life and they happily shared it with us. I could write a whole page about our wonderful experience but better yet....spend a few days with the most wonderful hosts. I also would like to thank the chef and entire kitchen staff for the fabulous food that they served us each day with was a 5 star cuisine

David’s Kitchen: "Girls Holiday"

Review by: Teresa P | Source: Trip Advisor
Disclaimer: this review doesn't even do David's Kitchen justice... We arrived for dinner at David's Kitchen the first night in Chiang Mai, after an underwhelming night in Bangkok. David was at the door to greet us (and all guests). We were taken to our seats where there was a place card with (all of) our names on it. David later came up and asked us about our trip and where we were going. He then invited us back in the kitchen to meet the team and head Chef - and get pictures! The experience alone was outstanding and I haven't even gotten to the food. Everything from the preparation, delivery and first bite was heavenly! Mouthwatering, just the right amount of seasoning and flavor for each dish. It was such and experience to learn about David and how his travels brought him to Chiang Mai. Our experience didn't end after leaving the restaurant. The following day we received a note from David thanking us and wishing us the best of time on the remainder of our trip - yes, he recounted where we were going from there and had remembered from our conversation the night before. You don't find that service in the states and rarely find it in general. Hats off to David and his spectacular team. We will be back for dinner again!

Jing’s Residence: "Jing’s is an Amazing Experience!"

Review by: CosmoD1124 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Our family of four (kids ages 13 and 11) stayed 2 nights in 2 Courtyard Suites in June. The suites were directly across from each other in the first courtyard off of the hotel lobby. We wanted one room with 2 beds, but all the rooms have only one bed, which worked just fine because the beds are massive. The quality of the rooms and amenities is luxurious. Everything was spotless and tastefully done in a traditional Chinese courtyard style. The common areas of the hotel are fantastic. The hotel is expensive for Pingyao standards, but is a great value when considering the additional service and in-room amenities. The location is directly in the center of old town, but just off of the busiest pedestrian street. It is an easy walk to any restaurant or attraction in the old town. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was very peaceful and quiet. Everyone slept great. The AC worked extremely well. Everything in the bathroom worked well, but was a little tight on space. There is limited light over the bathroom sink. The wifi worked well from our rooms. The service at the hotel is very high quality and everyone is extremely friendly. The breakfast is high quality, and made to order, but somewhat limited. Both western and eastern options are available. We also enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea both days, which was simple, but well done. We had an amazing experience at this hotel and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a unique traditional courtyard style hotel with fantastic service and all the modern amenities. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Pingyao."

Manukan Island Resort: "Wonderful experience"

Review by: Ailene E | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed in hillside villa to celebrate our anniversary. The room was exceptional and beach view is astonishing! Service is great and even able to setup a romantic dinner by the beach on same day request. Despite the forecast of rainshower at night it was still a success. They also have a rondalla that serenades us while we eat. Only thing we didn't like is the breakfast. But overall it's a wonderful experience.

Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful atmosphere"

Review by: Noke O | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here for 2 nights in a beautiful suite. Big clean rooms, bathroom and really comfortable bed! The villa is on the Sai gon river, where you can enjoy the view having good food and drinks in the lovely garden. The breakfast starts at 6.30 a la carte and you don't need to rush because you can have it at anytime you want! Food is amazing! The swimming pool is big and beautiful. The staff is friendly, always smiling and ready to help you! We really enjoyed our stay here, if we would come back to Saigon, this would be fore sure our first choice again. "

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Moment de repos exceptionnel"

Review by: titinette12 | Source: Trip Advisor

The Cabochon Hotel: "little gem in Sukhumvit"

Review by: bubuNewyork | Source: Trip Advisor
"I just came back from Bangkok where I stayed with friends at the Cabochon. The hotel was recommended by a friend who lives in Bangkok and was an excellent choice. The service is outstanding: friendly, nice, very helpful staff. The rooms are large, they could benefit from more lights but I didn't stay in the room very much. The decoration of the hotel is subtle, beautiful and stylish. The location is great: in the same little street, there is a great bar,(Shanghai in the 20s style) , a famous restaurant and a little further many restaurants. I also love the swimming pool on the top of the roof. So relaxing after a day of heat and humidity to swim and relax on the roof. The hotel restaurant, with Northern Thai food is excellent too, but ask for mild version if you don't like very spicy food..."

The Island Lodge: "Nice oasis to relax on the Mekong"

"Great choice for a quiet week-end in the Mekong delta, a mere 2-hour drive from HCMC. Transfer organised by hotel with excellent driver and comfortable car. Well-trained staff, good service and nice restaurant. Thank ctlinh"

tugu malang: "Unique experience"

Review by: MongJeab | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Stayed here for three nights. The hotel is well located for city center. Stunning quixotic atmostphere in the hotel. Antiques, hand crafts, paintings are well decorated all over the hotel and lots of flowers. The room is clean, tidy, and classic. The staffs are amazing friendly, helpful, and attentive. Nice breakfast next to the pool. Moreover, the hotel spa was fantastic. Don't miss the hot stones massage. This is a great spot of Malang. "

Tugu Malang: "Unique, Stylish, & All-Time Favorite Hotel"

Review by: Audrey_Golden | Source: Trip Advisor
I love this hotel. It's an incredibly unique place that's adorned throughout with Indonesian antiques, and it also has an incredible antique shop for browsing or buying (not to mention a very large and well-curated selection of Balinese silver jewelry, both contemporary and vintage). The rooms are fantastic, filled with super stylish antiques, art, and fresh flowers. The hotel also has incredibly cool stationery in each room, reminiscent of grand hotels of the early 20th century. Melati Restaurant, part of the hotel, serves some of the best food in all of Java. This place is truly special and has to be one of my favorite hotels anywhere in the world.
