Villa Song Saigon: "A place to relax"

Review by: Callummac1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We visited Villa Song on our last night in Vietnam. What a wonderful boutique Hotel. The staff could not be more helpful The room we had was on the ground floor with access to the pool area, the room was spacious and very comfortable. The manager was so good he let us purchase an item from his hotel entrance as he said he could get a replacement from Hanoi. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Loved it!"

Review by: Wennag | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is just a 2 min boat trip across the river from its sister hotel Apsara in the old town. You just drop by at their receptions and tell them you whenever you need to cross. Very convenient. Apsara Rive Droite is a little gem with a pool, a nice garden, beautiful rooms and a pleasant little restaurant and bar. The hotel manager (Hann) is the perfect host with his friendly, yet professional style. Even if the hotel is just two minutes by boat fron the old town, it is located in a less touristy area. I quite enjoyed strolling i this neighbourhood too as it gave glimpses into laotian everyday life. This includes the morning alm cermony that takes place on the road just outside the hotel.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Awesome Experience"

Review by: Mark S | Source: Trip Advisor
Thanks to the whole team at Yala for a great stay & awesome experience. The game drives were fantastic & I'm missing the amazing food already! Well worth it & would highly recommend the experience to anyone else.

Talabgaon Castle: "Very unique and relaxing"

Review by: Brad R | Source: Trip Advisor
"My family and I stayed at the castle for three nights and spent Christmas there this year. It was wonderful, and a great place to slow down in between more hectic Indian stops. We entirely enjoyed the brief camel wagon ride to a small and under-visited Indian village. A great stop in between crazy and hectic Jaipur. Breakfast on the terrace and dinner next to the fireplace on the cool December nights were charming. We even had a local music group perform for us on Christmas Eve. It will certainly be a highlight of our time in India. My son even tried the pool even as it was only 50° outside"

tugu bali: "Can’t keep the secret"

Review by: colyngardner | Source: tripadvisor.com
"My wife and daughters spent a few days at the Tugu in 2015 and could not wait to return again, this time with me. They were right to be so positive. The hotel lives up to all expectations with lovely traditional Balinese style rooms with many novel and attractive features. The exclusive hotel garden provides direct access to the beach and uninterrupted views of the sea and the stunning sunsets. A very short walk along the beach leads to some friendly and pleasant beach bars serving a range of food and drinks. A good tip would be to plan a visit soon as the Canggu area is developing quite quickly as more people discover this lovely section of the west coast. Finally, a word about the staff at Tugu. A very special group of people who work very hard to ensure that the guests have a perfect stay. All in all a very high recommendation for those who do not want to stay in large and impersonal hotels in the more well known Bali tourist areas. "

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "“This is a must see -a fantastic, wonderfull and different experience”"

Review by: vivilizzi | Source: Trip Advisor
"After 30 minuts sailing on Tatai river we arrived at the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. There are 12 luxus tents floating on the river. Each tent has a terrace and a bathing ladder and there is a restaurant serving wonderful food. It is placed in the middle of the jungle so here is peace and quiet except the sound of birds and fish jumping in the river. The staff is excellent and talks English. The Lodge has several excurtions. We went by boat 40 minutes to a waterfall and climbed the rocks, had lunch, enjoyed the sun and jumped in the waterfall to have a heavy back massage. After comming back we enjoyed a cocktail and had the most wonderful sunset from our terrace. We also went by boat to see fireflies lightening in the dark trees along the bank. We only stayed 2 nights but we could have stayed much longer if not for our schedule. It is a wonderful adventure experience if you want to go to a peaceful and different place. With love Vivi Lizzi, Denmark Room Tip: All the tents are the same and placed with 6 at each side of the restaurant"

Maison Polanka: "A unique experience, perfectly executed"

Review by: KenatRSF | Source: Trip Advisor
"My reviews reveal a shameless sybarite, happily wallowing in the decadence of suites in the top hotels all over the planet; the Amans, the Four Seasons, the Six Senses, the Belmonds. Siem Reap has most of these and visitors would be served well at any one of them in their visit Angkor Wat. For something wildly different and unique, however, book the ""Khmer House"" at Maison Polanka, the best of the five available rooms. This is a lush garden, about two acres, surrounded with high walls off a bumpy, unpaved back street not too far from the main canal road and the Museum (and the Aman). Behind the electric sliding door is a beautiful, cool and shaded oasis of grass, kept wet, with high trees and flowering shrubs. It is quiet and peaceful; there is no traffic noise Khmer House is a small, simple wooden, single room building on stilts in the center of the property. The large living room is underneath the house and the equally large bedroom with a sitting veranda is above. The bedroom is air-conditioned and has fans, in addition. See the website for photos. All this at less than half the price of the chains. Dining is under an outdoor pavilion adjacent to a very nice 50 foot pool, suitable for laps and cooling off after a visit to the temples. The menu, though limited, is varied and offers excellent suggestions for any palate. We were so pleased we ate all our meals there for five days, not venturing outside. I also attended the cooking school; one student and three cooks. Lots of fun. As it turned out, a great advantage of our booking was the superb service we received with our private car with driver and guide. Our guide, ""Pich"", is a certified, uniformed guide for Angkor Wat and accompanied us on all our temple tours for two days. She arranged for the tickets and the timing for our visits to avoid crowds. (We enjoyed the sunrise over the main temple.) She is an excellent, knowledgeable guide. The driver awaited us with ice-cold towels and water when we finished each temple visit. He was also available on call and waited for us on shopping and museum visits. a very worthwhile indulgence. The staff is small but attentive and anxious to please. Upon each return to the garden, a young women awaits with a cold towel at your room. This is not ""roughing it""; it is equal luxury in a different guise. A superb alternative to the usual."

muang la: "Unexpectedly delightful"

Review by: PiperFisher | Source: tripadvisor.com
The management is superb, each meal delicious, serene location in the countryside and wonderful staff. Also, the massages are special and the hot springs a surprise. We heartily recommend Muang La Resort to all.

Satri House: "Perfect stylish getaway oasis"

Review by: Sucinhkg | Source: Trip Advisor
"The whole setting of the hotel is very artsy, decorated beautifully with attention to detail and resembles the place it used to be perfectly. A quiet oasis in the middle of Luang Prabang with large, comfortable rooms, a nice pool, a very nice spa with knowledgeable staff, the whole staff team very attentive and lovely. It invites to meander around the premises, sit here and there, read, listen to the monks chanting in the nearby monastery sometimes, and just BE. Appreciated the NOT having a TV screen anywhere, no music, no noises at all, just nature. Breakfast was lovely and very good. One thing I would love to see improve - there is too much good coffee in Laos - but this was not incorporated in the menu - yet. Coffee was good but for coffee lovers could be improved."

Jing’s Residence: "Why did we stay only one night?"

Review by: jcrane66 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Actually, the answer to the question in the title of this review is that we didn't have more time to spend on holiday. Our greatest mistake was not having two nights at this lovely hotel. Imam at reception was kind and welcoming. He made us feel right at home. The room was gorgeous and the courtyards of the hotel are lovely. The hotel is so quiet - it was the best night sleep we had the whole holiday! The breakfast was off a menu and the choices were both Chinese and Western. And both of our choices were delicious. We also decided to eat dinner at the hotel. It was ""upscale"" pricewise, but the food was excellent and well presented. We also were able to try some of the local dishes which we would have missed out on if we were just wandering the streets. We would recommend this hotel to anyone - and we hope that one day we will find ourselves back in the Jing Residence.... "
