Inle Princess Resort: "LOVELY PLACE"

Review by: Sandra F | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed in a Lake House room - that is very large – and it was wonderful to sit in an armchair on the private deck to admire the lake. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast delicious. The restaurant is good and is well located, just in front of the lake. It is a lovely hotel.

Hotel Tugu Bali: "Highly commend"

Review by: MargaretTMS | Source: Trip Advisor
"So impressed with our stay in Tugu Bali. The villa was a delight to be staying in with all its Balinese history in its decor and surroundings. First class in interior layout and cleaning services. The staff were friendly and so attentive including to the demands of an exploring toddler. Our meals were delicious and choices seemed unlimited. Japanese restaurant menu def worth exploring. The Gardens and waterways were a delight to wander around. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay, where the mixture of calming ambience and historical treasures added to such an enjoyable atmosphere. Only minutes walk from beaches. Many thanks for memorable stay that is highly recommended to all ages."

Locavore: "Gastronomic aerobatics and spot international level"

Review by: philip_ru | Source: Trip Advisor
We saw that the schedule of booking tables in Manhattan traditions is full for a couple of weeks ahead. So we tried with a pounce, straight from a tropical rainfall to get to lunch. Day to day it did not work, but we found out about their sister cafe around the corner in the next street and signed up for tomorrow. For lunch too ceremoniously and formally (dishes, not the atmosphere - that's quite a casual one, we met Americans, saddened by Trump at a nearby table), but for a memorable evening, that's it. It offers two sets - large and small. For 5 and 7 meals. And there are options for veggie. The surprise was that to five dishes there are five apetizers and about the same number of digestives. Extremely authored and fantasy, small and incredibly tasty. Yes, another point is that it is necessary to arrive at the appointed time, as all tables are served by simultaneous courses. And the whole ceremony thus stretches for 2-2.5 hours) At this time, you seem to disappear from the noisy colorful streets of Ubud in the mirror world of real flowers and shades of pistachio. Smiles and conditioner. Wow

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Perfect!"

Review by: BuobSwitzerland | Source: Trip Advisor
"I travellec with a small group of people to Glenburn in October 2015. The location is magical. Yes, it's worth the bumpy ride getting there. Rooms are exquisite. Morning tea in the room was heavenly! All the meals were very good, the Bengali dinner was exceptional. Meals were served at different beautiful locations around the estate, one dinner was under the star lit sky... The staff are exceptionsl - very attentive, very obliging, And we were treated to the majestic beauty of Kanchenjunga on the last day of our stay. The icing on the cake! Can't wait to get back. Thanks Husna and Darlen for your wonderful managemnet of our booking. And thanks to all the staff for the pampering!!"

Glenburn Tea Estate: "10 Person Photo Group from the USA"

Review by: Bill M | Source: Trip Advisor
"Some of the reviews are missing the point. If you want to spend your time whining about the road, then don't go. On the other hand, if you think of each destination as an adventure and you want to experience a wonderful property having only eight rooms, with great food and warm hospitality, then go to Glen Burn. You will not be disappointed! Even though the tea factory was idle, it was still an interesting tour through the plant to see the equipment and to listen to the story of Glen Burn Walking the nearby villages with a Glen Burn guide was perfect! So many fantastic shots!!Because of a previous trip to Glen Burn, our I-Phone teacher (Karen Divine) said it was an absolute must destination being so close to Darjeeling. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "The place to ‘be"

Review by: JPlant2014 | Source: Trip ADvisor
My husband and I have just spent a week at Neeleshwar and had a VERY relaxing time. The accommodation is fab-u-lous (the bathroom being semi-outdoors with tropical planting - thank goodness for the fan as it felt much hotter out there than in our air conditioned room). We had an Ayurvedic massage each day. I could get used to having a daily massage! It was wonderful! Mr Jayan and his staff were very respectful and couldn't do enough for you. Credit must go to the designer of Neeleshwar Hermitage who has landscaped the resort impeccably, with great accommodation and exotic planting. There are lots of resident birds. Breakfast and lunch were taken at their beach cafe, and dinner in the restaurant. The food was fresh and flavoursome. We even had a traditional Keralan meal one evening which was served on a banana leaf and eaten with your hands. There is an infinity pool where you can order drinks and snacks. I loved the trip on the houseboat. If I'm ever lucky enough to return, I would like to spend a night (or two) on it.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "My place of rest."

Review by: TKThomas813 | Source: Trip Advisor
I truly appreciate the quality service the and attention that the staff gave us. The location is always one of my personal favorites to spend time unwinding from the challenges of mega city life. You need to spend a minimum of two days here to truly appreciate the recharge you will experience.

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Contemplative lunch"

Review by: Martin V | Source: Trip Advisor
What a relief. This restaurant is a real "island" of tranquillity next to the lake. Soft music. Whispering waiters. Prompt service and a smile.
