Lovely colonial property with modern facilities. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Interesting rooms and common areas with beautiful antiques. This was brilliant. It was just 2 nights out of a long trip for our family but definitely one of the absolute highlights. We are a family of 4 with a 13 year old girl and 17 year old boy and we all loved everything about the camp and the game drives. Jeeps were perfect for game viewing and small enough that it was just our family in the jeep with a driver and a guide. We went on 4 game drives and saw heaps - leopard on 2 occasions,crocs, lots of elephant, eagles and so much more. They took us to the uncrowded blocks of the reserve, so you weren't fighting against lots of other jeeps to get to see the animals. It felt very personal, and different. The camp and tents were fab - all the mod cons and very comfortable whilst still giving a feeling of being out in the bush. We had been worried about being a bit bored in the middle of the day but the the game drives take up a large part of the time and the day just flew by. The new swimming pool will be a great addition. "The staff were very helpful and willing to please, we enjoyed being spoilt as there is only six rooms. We were fortunate to stay for two nights over Valentine's Day, we returned to our room after dinner to the room being filled with rose petals and hot water bottles in the bed. On our second night the staff baked a special birthday cake and all the staff came out to sing happy birthday to my husband. The bungalows are tastefully decorated and comfortable. The whole resort is a wonderful experience from the lovely food in the restaurant, the playful cat haven and kind and caring staff. Highly recommend for a special and memorable stay. "Stayed at this property for 2 nights with wife & 2 year old kid. Striking feature about this resort: 1. Staff: be it reception, housekeeping or restaurant,they are simply the people who love their job truly. Always welcoming guest with a big smile & addressing the guest by their names. They love to engage with the guest on variety of topics . 2. View from the restaurant. It is picture perfect for a good start to your day. Property is small, but has its own charm & we truly enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are small (Relatively) but practical. Offer complete privacy to each of the room. Bathroom is open to air & you may have to share your space with some tiny guests... Snails :) Our room was provided with an infant bed as complimentary. Breakfast is tasty & if you have a specific preference, do let them know in advance so that they can accommodate your request. Beach is small & rocky. I wish the all Hotels that share this beach own up some responsibility and ensure cleanliness on beach. "The Maduzi never fails. Fantastically located just off Asoke & about 200 metres to the SkyTrain. The Maduzi is stylish, modern though at the same time it feels like you’re at home. The rooms are fantastic, large, the biggest beds you’ll find in Bangkok & lovely appointed bathrooms with amenities. The hotel has a good size restaurant which serves beautiful breakfasts & to say the most gorgeous bircher muesli I have ever had. So many hotels are alike but at the Maduzi, the staff really makes this place top-notch. They are always welcoming, friendly & always up for a chat. Undoubtedly, the best small hotel in Bangkok. "Stayed there 3 nights at the Shantung room on Oct 1st. Was my second time staying there and seems quite an improvement compared to the 1st probably it was from a different management back then. Happy with the service upon checking in. Shiro at the desk was friendly. Glad that we had a early check-in and no hassle of waiting for our room to be ready. All the staff are polite from housekeeping lady to the wait staff for our breakfast,the lady at the bar & the security guard at the main door. I am amazed with the selection of ala carte breakfast menu and buffet spread with the price for the the room. Wish we had time to dine and experience Indigo in the future. "Das IPR liegt im Norden des Sees im ""Schilf""-Gürtel versteckt. Dadurch erreicht der Motorenlärm der ab 7h über den See knatternden Langbote das Hotel nur noch gedämpft. Die Boote für die eigenen Gäste müssen ca. 150m vor dem Hotel den Motor abstellen und ein Einbeinruderer steigt zu. Die Anlage ist mit viel Geschmack und Liebe in einem wunderschönen Garten erbaut worden und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Mahlzeiten auf der Terrasse des Restaurants sind ein optischer und lukullischer Genuß, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, wie übrigens fast überall in Myanmar, eine Freude. Wer nach Tagen ohne viel (eigene) Bewegung mal so richtig durchgeknetet werden will, sollte sich die burmesische Massage, die im schönen Badehaus angeboten wird, gönnen."
