Supanniga Eating Room: "Amazing traditional Thai cusine"
Here you can find some traditional Thai dishes. I enjoyed the Khao Krieb Nam Jim which is a steamed flat rice noodles with a spicy shrimp dressing. Good cocktails to accompany the great food.Mie Cafe: "my number two in Siem Reap"
nice, small restaurant with friendly staff and good, innovative food. We were very well taken care of and left the restaurant happy. And for all those Swiss who know what a "Röstiraffel" is, watch out for some of the lamps. Very nice and an excellent idea which I will copy at home! I can highly recommend this restaurant and I am happy that the owner of Wat Damrak told us to go there.Les Maisons d’Itac: "Surprising quality"
We took our staff for a company outing to this property over 3 nights. We are surprised with the quality of the villas, cabanas and pools and the amazing service that was provided. They are really lovely people and Bryan manages the place very well. We had no complaints and nothing went wrong,We purchased our foods and they cooked for us. Its a very quiet and peaceful location which is hard to find in Philippines. The only downsides are the long trip to get there which is about 3 hours and the lack of a beach to swim. On the plus side there are interesting activities around the place like kawasan falls and oslob whale watch, Ideal for people needing such a holiday or company affairs. The Village House: "Fabulous retreat-you must stay here"
"We stayed at The Village house in mid August this year (2015), and we loved every minute of our stay. The rooms are luxurious, wonderfully comfortable and thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. The hotel itself is stunning, everything has been done for you to effortlessly enjoy the stunning surroundings and allow you to fully relax. We took lots of trips from The Village House, all of which were excellent and extremely hassle free. We ate in the restaurant every day and never had a bad meal, again a really thoughtfully put together menu and everything was fabulous. The greatest accolade goes tot eh staff, they are amazing, made us feel very welcome and at home, fantastic experience."Yandabo Home: "A special place"
"Having enjoyed our river cruise from Bagan, we were whisked by a small boat to arrive at Yandabo Home and a warm greeting from the staff group. A real achievement to create this boutique hotel here, off the beaten track. Simple bedroom with a high quality bathroom and products and food well presented. Friendly staff took us to visit the local villages with tea and biscuits on the way on the boat back a nice touch. Thanks to all the team. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"The Apsara Rive Droite: "Friendly, spacious, good service"
Our family of five have stayed at Apsara Rive Droite on our trip 1-4 Dec 2017. The owner and manager team was very responsive in replying email and helpful. Khun Haan; a manager, took care of us very well and made us feel as home. We stayed in Deluxe River View Suites which were spacious and had a great view of Nam Khan river. The best part is also the quietness and serenity. We also booked tour to waterfall and were so surprised by hotel service that one staff accompanied us to take care of our family, I forgot his name, thanks to him too. On waterfall trip, hotel arrange us a great service and unforgettable luncheon. When we had some questions about place to see and to go, Khun Haan and his team was always helpful with nice recommendations and even arranged transportation for us. We really love Apsara Rive Droite. It was a fantastic experience for our family.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "とっても素敵な湖畔の一軒家レストラン"
Rahai'i Pangun Wildlife River Cruises: "Orangutan spotting in comfort"
"Wow Borneo’s trip on their comfortable boat for three nights and four days gave us a real insight into Borneo, it’s jungle and wildlife. On spotting our first orang-utan we thought we were in luck but then to find 7 in a group was wildly beyond our dreams with them even coming to the waters edge for a closer inspection of us. A tree full of hornbills and 2 Proboscis Monkeys completed the talley for the day. On the last morning we were taken to a village only accessible by boat to be greeted by the Elder, Pak and a welcoming ceremony with children learning the ancient ritual. Pak took us to the jungle to see trees and spices growing, explaining their medicinal properties and the need to protect the jungle. We need more Paks to safeguard the forests and environment of Borneo. On the boat we were lucky to be the only guests and the staff looked after use beautifully. Meals were all freshly cooked using local delicacies and our guide was attentive throughout. The cabins are perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable. Take a trip with Wow Borneo now before the world finds this gem."Tugu Lombok: "Just perfect!"
I simply cannot fault this hotel. The room was enormous, the most comfortable bed ever, lovely bathroom. Food was faultless - breakfast healthy, any time, perfect; dinner delicious, lots of choice, great service. Great cocktails, wine, beer - anytime, anywhere. Beach - white sand, beautiful view, sun beds wherever you want, endless towels. Lovely swimming pools with soft warm water. Staff are amazing, friendly, full of good advice and nothing is too much trouble but no one is intrusive. This is the perfect, peaceful retreat when you need to de-stress, relax and recharge. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here and were thoroughly spoilt. Would definitely recommend visiting Gili Meno for a day.Manda De Laos: "Lovely innovative cooking in special location"
"This is something of a hidden gem tucked away in a side street away from most of the tourist area. The impressive building surrounds a beautiful lily pond and is a lovely place to eat lunch or dinner. Quite romantic. The food was superb. Lao cooking with a twist. I would especially recommend the succulent spare ribs and the do it yourself lapa or minced lamb salad starter which is really tasty and great fun to ""make"" yourself by the table. The bamboo fish was interesting although not my favourite. Cocktails and wine also great."
