Inle Princess Resort: "Beautiful and quiet lake site resort"

Review by: Harry R | Source: Trip Advisor
"We arrived at the resort by boat from Nyaung Shwe. Some 100 m from the hotel, motors are no longer allowed. A rower came on board and leg-paddled us to the jetty. This exemplifies the resort's emphasis on quiet and relaxation. Our cottages were on the lake. From the terrace, the sunsets were beautiful. Our room had binoculars provided for bird watching. A spa with a massage menu, bicycle rentals, and a swimming pool rounded out the offerings. Breakfast and dinner on a sundeck were tasty and included a sampling of local and Shan cuisine. I highly recommend the resort. Room Tip: Lakeside cottages were private and delightful."

Amata Lanna: "Tropical Oasis in Chiangmai"

Review by: Amanda N | Source: Trip Advisor
"It's easy to forget you're in a bustling city when staying at the Amata Lanna Chiangmai. We stayed here for three nights during our honeymoon in March and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. It's a beautiful, intimate property with a swimming pool (a necessity on hot days in Chiangmai!); an exceptionally warm and welcoming staff; and delicious, complimentary breakfast each morning. Be sure to try the mango sticky rice -- it's the best we had in Thailand! Wi-Fi is free and works very well at this hotel, too. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Locavore: "good food and great service"

Review by: kalena_jehan09 | Source: Trip Advisor
We had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food was flawless, but we were truly impressed with the ease, welcoming, and fluidity of the staff. They thought of everything. From greeting us as we walked in. It is clear that they are as passionate about the guests' experience as much as the food they're creating. Do yourself a favour and go visit. Enjoy the grandeur, you will not be disappointed.

Samanea Beach Resort: "Wonderful setting"

Review by: teresa s | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed for 4 nights, and could not fault it, the staff were friendly and helpful, Jonathan one of the hotel managers was very helpful in his knowledge of Kep and the surrounding area. We only ate one evening meal in the restaurant but it was exceptional and the choice of breakfast menus good. The restaurant and bar staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was fantastic and we loved the bathroom. We came in each day to a clean room with fresh towels everyday. Even down to the security at the hotel entrance all the staff were very friendly. The setting was lovely and peaceful, and the grounds kept in tip top condition. Lovely to walk along the pier at sunset. We could not fault this hotel and I would highly recommend it.

Tugu Bali: "Amazing property"

Review by: lesserodyssey5 | Source: Trip Advisor
Very unique experience staying in this hotel. Quick walk to the surf breaks at Batu Balong, Old Man's and Echo Beach/Pererenan from the lovely beach area on the property. Food in the restaurant is a bit more expensive than other options in the area but well worth the price.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Outstanding"

Review by: Chris M | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is nothing short of top of the class! The food, rooms, service, amenities, beach and general 'vibe' (coupled with a near-perfect January climate) made for a perfect end of trip experience. If peace and quiet is not for you then the Hermitage is not for you. It might be 'off the beaten track' but it doesn't feel isolated. Terrific staff. Hard/Impossible to fault.

Talabgaon Castle: "Perfect place to wind down between busy cities"

Review by: Julia R | Source: Trip Advisor
"To sum it up briefly this place is amazing. It is a very serene, quiet place for relaxing between the hustle bustle of the cities. You'll fall in love with this place. You won't be disappointed. Do not miss the opportunity to stay at this pristine palace. Our one night stay at the castle was exquisitely delightful. The staff greeted us with hot towels and lemon water to drink. As well as beautifully smelling flower necklaces. They showed us to our room which was tidy and supplied with bottled water and biscuits. Then they brought warm tea. We were given a menu to choose our dinner selection and we were astonished by how delicious the food was. They have an organic garden on the grounds from which they get their vegetables and they were spectacular. The chef preparations of the food were so delicious that words cannot capture how much we enjoyed the supper. In the morning we were greeted by a continental breakfast, but then they began to bring out all of the hot selections from omelettes to traditional Indian fixings. I was upset with myself for eating fresh fruit and yogurt because I wished I had more room for all the delicious breakfast selections. When you first arrive you know youre staying in a special place because you notice the castle walls as you are driving through a small village. You pass through a large traditional gate to an open area where the driveway is and there's another smaller traditional gate to enter the grounds where you can see the beautiful 200 year old structure. The grounds and castle itself are beautifully done, clean and modernized. We were provided bottled water in our room and at dinner. The bathroom was marble and glass with no shortage of hot water. The bed was large and luxurious with very clean linens. There was also a big flat screen television. There are many seating rooms and a Polo bar room. There is a large swimming pool behind the main building. We were given the opportunity to participate in a camel cart or jeep safari ride the next morning and we chose the jeep. We were able to see beautiful birds and local friendly people. You drive through these tiny, minuscule towns and the people are so delighted to see you. Because 'guests are gold' in this part of the world we were invited in for tea and Palau. Unfortunately we were not able to accept their request as our guide said we must go as we were on a stringent time schedule to leave for agra. I wish we had stayed for longer and we're able to become more acquainted with these friendly people. This place is a little out of the way, but worth it in every aspect. The food, the staff, the accomdations, the villagers, the history of the facility. You'll not want to leave and you'll be eager to retuen.great place for romantics, adventurers, or those looking for relaxation during a busy trip in india. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"

Tugu Malang: "Superb hotel"

Review by: Fraser R | Source: Trip Advisor
"After staying at a different Tugu Hotel in Lombok I decided to stay here while wanting to visit Mount Bromo. The staff and service here as well as food was excellent! Also the Spa if you are a couple go for the couple's option of 4 hour massage treatment as it's well worth it to try out. If you are wanting to visit Mount Bromo the hotel can arrange a private Jeep to take you there and back which is great and the guide and the driver were very helpful and super polite. Certainly make this a consideration if you are visiting Malang. Just to let you know that its around 2.5hrs drive from Surabaya to the hotel which they can arrange for you too."

Villa Song Saigon: "Just perfect"

Review by: Maryline S | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Villa song is a little gem of a boutique hotel by the Saigon river away from busy HCMC, which can be reached by free shuttle in under 25 min. It has a pool which is a godsend after a hot day in town. The room was lovely spacious and well appointed from the Nespresso machine, kettle, free mini bar, apple tv remote if you wish to download some stuff... i could go on and on. (...) The personnel was very attentive eager to help always with a smile and well organized, which is a credit to the management team. This was the most perfect way to end our tour of Vietnam, we left on a high note though wishing we had stayed longer. I don't think you will find anything better that this hidden gem"
