Maduzi Hotel: "Spacious & wonderful hotel in e midst of a busy city"
This hotel room is huge beyond imagination. I had a free upgrade to corner suite. The mini bar was free. There was a huge bath tub with the water coming down from the ceiling. The width of the bed was about 2 meters and it was super comfortable and soft. Service was great and efficient. Furniture is a little damaged here and there but it is negligible. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.Amata Lanna: "Tropical Oasis in Chiangmai"
"It's easy to forget you're in a bustling city when staying at the Amata Lanna Chiangmai. We stayed here for three nights during our honeymoon in March and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. It's a beautiful, intimate property with a swimming pool (a necessity on hot days in Chiangmai!); an exceptionally warm and welcoming staff; and delicious, complimentary breakfast each morning. Be sure to try the mango sticky rice -- it's the best we had in Thailand! Wi-Fi is free and works very well at this hotel, too. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Tandjung Sari: "One of the places you have to stay"
"The history, the serenity, the beach-front Sanur at its best. It is one of the must do's in Bali, stay at 'the' beautiful Balinese style boutique hotel that sparked a revolution embracing the traditional Balinese architecture and design. From a magnificent staff to great breakfasts and moonlit dinners on the beach, this is a retreat in the heart of beachfront Bali."Arumdalu: "Incredible Private Resort on Beautiful Belitung Island!"
"My husband and I enjoyed five fantastic nights at Arumdalu Private Resort. We were actually the only guests at the time, so our visit was indeed private! William greeted us at the airport, and took excellent care of us at the resort. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Mr. Agus and Ms. Siannie, along with their son, Albert, and daughter, Caroline, and they were extremely kind and welcoming. Our chefs, Tonny and Anton, prepared delicious Indonesian dishes that were served by Dana, Angie, Cha Cha, and other wonderful staff at the beautiful Sahang Beachfront Cafe and Resto. A wonderful young man, Sue Wep, taught us how to make our own batiks, which was a new and enlightening experience. Our driver, Mr. Insani, was very competent. Lovely Meela, at reception, was very welcoming. We enjoyed a day trip with William and Mr. Insani around the island, enjoying excellent coffee, delicious lunch, and spectacular scenery. Upon leaving the resort, we were presented with a fabulous gift of a beautiful batik and a collection of post cards of the resort. It was an excellent vacation on a remote Indonesian island, accessible by a one-hour flight from Jakarta. "Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A small peace of Heaven here in Ko Samui"
"A funny story about this resort. My partner and I were at Ko Samui for the first time 3 yrs ago and found this place – a small piece of heaven here on earth. We were actually the first ones ever to check in to Sea Dance who just had opened. This resort has since been on our favorite list. Now 3 yrs. later we were able to have another stay here and it’s still as amazing as last time. They had since last time added some more bungalows (all hidden behind hedges you can’t even see them) they also had a new reception and a Spa department. It all looks so great. As Scandinavians we love the design of concrete together with wood. We both tried the oil massage and yes, it’s more expensive than the one you get on the beach – but then again, it’s so much better. Coming here I strongly suggest that you try their food in the restaurant. I had their Fish Taco – the best one I ever had. We got to talk to the chef and they even make their tortilla bread themselves – and trust me, you can taste that. As a final request to the reader planning to go there – you have to try their Passion Fruit Mojito (no words needed) Would I go here again, NO DOOUBT. We love this resort and their staff."Reverie Siam: "2nd Fabulous Stay"
"I had my 2nd fabulous stay at Reverie Siam, in as many months, and cannot add anything that has not already been said in the other reviews, except for the fact that everything was consistently great for my 2nd stay as for my 1st (see my 1st review) (…) The resort is definitely a gem, a serene & luxurious oasis, that is equally perfect for couples or singles looking for a relaxing, or romantic get-away. (...) The background music & nightly live music adds an intimate enjoyment while enjoying a refreshing cocktail or a glass (or 2!) of wine. All of these things, and the too-many-special-added-touches to mention, creates a wonderful ambience of peace, serenity, intimacy, romance, and enjoyment for discerning couples & singles. I cannot recommend this resort enough, but on the other hand, I would like to keep it my secret! I am already planning my 3rd stay soon at my home-away-from-home!"Villa Song Saigon: "An Amazing Boutique Hotel"
"What an unforgettable stay we had in Villa Song ! The restored colonial villa near the river is stunning. Decorated with nice antique furniture combined with modern art. We were happy to stay for 4 nights in the Sanctuary Suite consisting of a cosy sittingroom, a large bedroom, a luxury bathroom and last but not least a large comfortable balcony overlooking the river. We spend lots of moments with a tea early morning and with a drink late evening to watch the river and its boats passing by, which gave us a peaceful feeling. The hospitality of the staff is excellent. We had a pleasant chat with the General Manager Mr. Yega and the Chef Cook Mr. Kevin, both with a lot of experience in hotel business. But also the restaurant manager Mr. Freddie, the waiters, the bartender's, the receptionists and the cleaning staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The speed boat service to town is well organized and a great experience. No need to waste your time with a taxi in the hussle of the traffic. In a 15 minutes enjoyable ride on the river you are in the heart of town. On the moment we stayed in Villa Song, we had the pleasure to choose our diner besides the regular menu, from a special menu created by Chef Cook Kevin and a guest Chef Cook from singapore which came for two weeks for this special event. We had surprising and delicious dishes with a fusion of Asian and Western food and this all in a romantic ambiance near the river. Villa Song is the top of luxury and hospitality… a beautiful place to stay. Thanks a lot to Mister Yega and his team !"CABOCHON: "French Indochine Chic"
"This hotel is set in an elegant period building down a quiet lane. It has a 1920s period styling with a bit of big game hunter and French colonialism thrown in for good measure. It's not an all-out luxury hotel. It's more an experience hotel, and I had a great experience. IT's like going back in time to a by-gone period which a jarring and interesting juxtaposition from the hustle and bustle happening less than 100m on Sukhumvit. Choose this for a unique boutique experience in central Bangkok.
David’s Kitchen: "Excellent"
Beautifully appointed decor. Greeted by owner personally, he was extremely attentive. Wait staff was well trained and wonderfully helpful. Food was excellent. In Chaing Mei it is must. Get reservation online before leaving home.
