Muang La Lodge: "a treasure place"
"as you as you land in this place you feel something extraordinary will happen to you ... Something magic and rear ... There will be a ""before"" and ""after"" my stay here at Muang La Lodge - so much talent on how to link local culture amazing moments and pure pleasure ... Room Tip: choose the room kamu - very quiet"Tugu Lombok: "A magical place with beauty in every step"
"The hotel is beautiful, with lot of different areas to explore, relax and even work. All the areas are decorated with elegance, full of art objects. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was amazing with open air area. The hotel staff is very kind, you feel pampered every minute. "Maison Polanka: "An Oasis in Siem Reap"
Maison Polanka is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It is in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap but provides the most idyllic surroundings to escape to, after a full day in nearby Angkor Wat which is no more than 20 mins away. The staff are polite and efficient and have the ability to be on hand when needed, but always in the background. The food is first class and the beautiful outdoor dining area is surrounded by lush gardens and a pool and sun area. The rooms are well equipped, quiet , with good showers, and have good WiFi. As there are only 5 in total Maison Polanka has an intimate and warm feeling at all levels. The rooms each have their own large, private balcony with lounging furniture and ceiling fans that overlook the grounds. Don't be put off by the approach but be excited about what lies behind the gates. Look out for the friendly pet bunny that lives in the gardens.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "An amazing cultural experience"
"I had the most amazing time. The Blue Mansion is a magnificent relic that has been beautifully restored. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in history and culture. The staff were super friendly and the tour guide provided so much information. The people who bought the Mansion and saved it from being torn down should be congratulated. Stayed January 2017, traveled solo"Tugu Malang: "Fantastic experience"
"Loved basically everything about this hotel. The room was luxurious. Bed was big and soft, the bathtub was large enough, the room itself was the right size, and everything on that end was great. Amenities were also wonderful. There was a tasty fruit basket in my room when I arrived, there was a complimentary tea service which was extraordinary, live music (a local band) played in the evening and was excellent to listen to, and more. My favorite amenity was the tour of the hotel's extensive artifact collection; it was fascinating to see all the different sculptures, paintings, and architectural details. The food was good. I particularly enjoyed the grilled satay (both chicken and lamb) and the extensive breakfast spreads. The complimentary pastries upon checking out were also great. The grounds themselves, including the pool, were very nice. My only complaint was flaky and slow wifi. But otherwise, my stay was absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay again. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Contemporary luxury in a historic mansion"
"Checked into The (lovingly restored) Blue Mansion for a two-night stay in December 2016, my first visit despite having been past the building on previous trips to Penang. From the warm hospitality, comfortable beds, clean big rooms (lovely bathroom a big plus with me), antique furniture, breakfast in the courtyard to coming back to a dim sum basket of local 'kuih' (cakes / sweets) with a handwritten note every evening was a lovely touch - the whole experience was memorable and in my opinion, worth returning for. Pro tip: the hotel is conveniently located next to a food court serving local delights, and across Georgetown Wines for that cheeky vino or late night tapas - thank me later! The Mansion is also home to Indigo, a fine dining restaurant which I tried, enjoyed and highly recommend. For those wanting to learn about the mansion's history, guided tours by some very passionate locals run daily at 11.00am, 2.00pm and 3.30pm - definitely something to fit into your travel itinerary. All in all, a strong contender for a unique experience. Stayed December 2016, traveled with friends"Labyrinth: "Truly outstanding"
Great concept of newly interpreting traditional dishes of Singapore. Super attentive staff that made sure we had a great night. Definitely our best meal in Singapore!Misool Eco Resort: "Beautiful location, Great staff"
"Beautiful villas, fronting on the sea. A very full diving program, but also wonderful coral readily accessible to snorkelers. A smooth sandy beach great for beginning swimmers and a short walk or boat ride from the main area- some villas near the sandy beach, if you prefer that. Every effort is made by the staff to make your experience as perfect as possible. A long trip for me, but well worth it."The Hue House: "A charming secret place for a great Hue cuisine!"
Not easy to find... and that makes it intriguing...beautiful setting and view from the roof top (10F) of a building with a lovely garden and decoration. Warm and friendly service. and great traditional dishes from Hue... a Must try experience if you like secret places !Mie Cafe: "Good food and service"
