Cuca: "Superb restaurant"

The food style is tapas so you can order as little or as much as you like. The tastes are amazing as is the presentation. It's so good that we went twice while on an 8 day trip in the area.

Slow Villas and Spa: "Made our honeymoon memorable"

"We spent 5 days of our honeymoon here and enjoyed every second! The staff were super helpful and friendly, providing detailed maps with places to go and eat - they even packed us a lunchbox for a day trip to Lombok. The room itself is very clean, bed comfy and all amenities great - loved the outdoor shower! Being able to hire bikes is a great idea (although I think this should be a free service). The breakfasts are amazing! So much choice and was delicious (those crepes!), and room service/delivery for those rainy days was handy. Overall we can't fault Slow Villas in any way. I would definitely stay again when visiting Gili Air. Thank you!"

Villa Song Saigon: "Charming Boutique Hotel"

We loved this place. It's a stunning villa with a gorgeous pool which is open late into the evening. The highlight for us was the breakfast which can be taken any time of day - who knew beef pho and French toast go so well together?! The area is a bit sterile (lots of international schools and expat compounds) but we just wanted to chill by the pool so this was a perfect end to our short stay in Vietnam. Particularly grateful for accommodating our request for a late checkout. Nice little gym too. Would love to return.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A few days to chill"

"Well... I could say I hated the place... to keep u all away... so I can keep it all to myself.... I just loved it... So historic, original, wonderful staff, huge rooms all fully restored in modern luxury and the whole place with old/antique furniture... I was in my element... elegant, traditional. Fantastic food, ( the dining room ceiling looks ridiculous) but the rest is just gorgeous... It is the middle of downtown GT (George Town), lots of transport options, and walking to discover the rest of GT is easy... The staff are wonderful... I just loved it I would not take kids there... destroy the atmosphere.... but I am sure kids would be welcome.... if necessary A very, very special place... If u are into history and love the old... you will, like I love the place... do go....."

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Relax and rejuvenate"

The cottages themselves are very well designed and appointed. The classy and restrained luxury can be experienced and enjoyed with the sounds of the sea as the perfect accompaniment. The large and open to sky bath area and a beautiful sit-out with some awesome sunset views make for a perfect package. The huge infinity pool overlooking the Arabian sea is another gem in this property. You can choose to take long walks on the beach or get a relaxing massage at their award winning spa. The food at Neeleshwar Hermitage is a big, big plus! Fantastic authentic Kerala fare is on offer with the chef ensuring that any request of yours is taken care of and what comes to the table is the freshest and tastiest of dishes which will leave you smiling. Shashi and his team leave no stone unturned to ensure that both you and your tummy are always happy. Thanks very much! The resort also organizes small day trips to local attractions and activities. There is also a souvenir shop where you can buy interesting curios and clothes. The entire management and staff of Neeleshwar Hermitage should be proud of the excellent job that they are doing to ensure every guest is very well taken care of and pampered. Well done, Jayan and your entire team! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will definitely not hesitate to recommend this to others and to come back again ourselves...hopefully soon!"

Mume: "Just amazing"

"I personally cannot understand the low rating. My experience here was fantastic! I am from the industry and the food & cocktails were on a really high level. Also the casual dress code and relaxed environment just make it better. For Taipei it might not be cheap, but compared to places like Hong Kong or Singapore it is! And you definitely get great quality and its worth it! Recommending this place to everyone!"

Samanea Beach Resort: "The best choice"

"I have been in Kep for many times but this time I just found Samanea Beach, it is so beautiful with swimming pool, garden and sea view. It is a real relaxing place to stay and their staffs are friendly and sweet. They also serves very delicious sea food there. The most important thing is the Bungalow room is reasonable price."

Pindaya Farm House: "Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with extraordinary views of Pindaya"

This is a lovely working farm and small hotel. The owners are delightful people who accommodated our needs, and fed us extremely well. We had heard that this part of the country is called the Tuscany of Myanmar, and it is absolutely true. The hills surround the valley, and the red earth is reminiscent of Italy. The organic produce is spectacular, and the preparation of the food at Thahara Pindaya was simple and delicious. The rooms are comfortable and capacious, while simple, and the views from the decks are splendid whether in the early morning, middle of the day, or evening.

Maison Polanka: "Wow….Spectacular"

We stayed at the Maison Polanka with 2 families recently. The owner Kathy and her staff were outstanding. This place is basically 1 acre property with a 4 bedroom homestead on it as well as a 1 bedroom homestead. We were fortunate enough to have the run of the place for 4 nights which meant we had our own staff whenever we need them. Lovely place to stay, really enjoyed the tranquility of the property.
