Locavore: "Impressive servings"
Going to Locavore is like being at one of your favorite high-end restaurants. They offer food served in ways that you don't consider yourself. They played with ingredients and served it in their lovely place in Ubud. I was surprised by the match between the cocktails and food + the surprise snacks that were served. We recommend going all-in if you visit this place.Reverie Siam: "Honeymoon"
"My wife and I stayed at this hotel when visiting Pai for 2 nights. The service was brilliant as were the rooms. The facilities were great. 2 nice pool areas and the resteraunt alone is well worth a visit. We ate dinner there one night which was reasonably priced. We went for the tapas which was delicious however on the second night we sampled street food on walking street where there are many food vendors and nice little hippie bars where we sampled drinks and cocktails which were good too. The Main Street in Pai is in walking distance from hotel around 10 mins however the hotel offer free transport in a tuk tuk too and from the hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to use the hotel again if we returned to Pai However there are many stray dogs around Pai but don't be alarmed. They barked a bit but seemed to stay away and let you be "VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Beautiful Hotel"
"We had a great stay here. The best bed we have ever had in a hotel.A lovely tranquil place on the river. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and public areas. Excellent breakfast and dinner. In district 2 about 30 mins from the centre of town. Regular free boat service in to town. A perfect place to stay just a little way from a very busy, noisy and bustling city. Would love to go back "VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Absolutely charming hotel"
"A haven at the edge of the Saigon River. A beautiful, peaceful spot to chill out after a hot session of sightseeing. Chef Kevin, always eager to please with innovative Western based menus liberally sprinkled with South East Asian herbs and spices, great. Restaurant and hotel staff greeting us with their gentleness and smiling faces all the time. I can only highly recommend Villa Song "Locavore: "Mind blowing experience"
"As I am new to the fine dining scene I wasn't quite sure what to expect but once the first tasting dish came out it was like a flavor bomb went off in my mouth and woke up taste buds I didn't know I even had and the night got better from there from the 7 starter tasters which seem to never end (trust me I didn't want it too) to the main my partner and I got the 5 course one herbacore and the other locovore it was the best way to go so we got to sample each others food yes they were small in size but I couldn't of eaten and more once it was finish we had dessert to finish off but even that was a experience as I don't really have a sweet tooth I was in heaven with the predessert taster then the dessert then the final dessert sample board neither I or my partner could fault our night at all it was culinary delight with amazing produce which is as fresh as you could possibly ask for yes the staff could use a few lessons on how to talk abit slower and louder as we couldn't really understand what we were eating but that just added to the excitement seriously looking forward to returning next time I'll be doing the 7 course with drink pairing Highly recommended and yes its pricey but if you were to go to Melbourne new York London or anywhere else for the quality you'd probably put a extra 0 on the end of the bill Great concept from a fellow Aussie and dutch working together highly recommend"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Exceptional as ever"
"Our third visit and this time for a full week, which didn't seem a minute too long. The hotel certainly deserves all the many awards that it gathers. The formula is very well tuned to demanding Western tastes but there is always a willingness to tweak that formula to make everything totally perfect for individual quirks and preferences. Sasi the food and beverage manager is a modest, unassuming man but he runs one of the slickest operations of this kind in any part of the world.. He exudes genuine care about his guests and that attitude filters down through his team. (Particular thanks to Melbin, Sharoon, Libin and Kiran.) The food is outstanding from breakfast through lunch to dinner. The beach is almost deserted, the pool delightful (although a little more zeal in tidying up the vacated sunbeds would be welcome - that's about the only fault I can find!). Some good low-key outings are possible to fish markets, Theyyam festivals etc to enliven the general chill-out experience Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"Villa Song Saigon: "Great Food & river view"
Beautiful hotel at the river with super friendly staff, owners and good food. One of my favourite places to escape the hectic city center. The river side is amazing at just 15/20 min from downtown it feels like being on a mini holiday just by having a good meal or coffee. A great quality escape :)Rahai’i Pangun: "Best jungle boat experience"
My first jungle experience in Borneo on a beautiful wood boat, excellent food and friendly staff. Loved it!SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Michelin star quality lakeside Yangon"
My second time to Yangon and this is the best ! Sensational food and wine set in amazing gardens on the lake. I recommend arriving before dinner for a cocktail in the stunning lounge area. It’s so beautiful to sit under the outside terrace or if you want something super romantic and private choose one of the private dining options (see photo ) or there is one lakeside. Service was impeccable. Must do !Mrauk U Princess Resort: "a remote gem of Myanmar"
"This little secret retreat is not easy to find... but the the cruise to access, the service at the property and the discovery around Mrauk U are exceptional. A truly unique destination. I recommend to take the cruise on Mrauk Oo Princess boat, as it is an experience in itself. The lunch on board and the views all the were surprising. The hotel has also a floating swimming pool in the middle of a lotus pond and about 20 bungalows in a vast garden. one suggestion: develop the river side, with a deck (maybe a lounge) to enjoy the river even more"
