Muang La Lodge: "Halte de rêve au bord de la Muang La"

exotic garden at the end of the world, spacious rooms on stilts, steamy baths in hot spring water in high towers alongside the trees, open-air restaurant overlooking the river Muang La, braziers to foot tables to soften the freshness evening and allow to comfortably enjoy the original and delicious dishes that succeed, sky lanterns illuminating the night, taking all the worries to the stars, in short, the middle of a wonderful trip through Laos, have a dream, further embellished by the warm availability of Mathilde and kind words of welcome Raphael manuscripts guests.

tugu bali: "My Tugu Hotel Experience was nothing short of amazing"

"I am very late writing this review, but i have stayed at the Tugu Hotel in Bali a few times now. and it is nothing short of paradise. The hotel itself is made up of a number of villas scattered in a tropical garden and each one i have stayed in was very comfortable and extremely well facilitated, the main lobby, restaurant and each room is full of beautiful and traditional antiques from around Indonesia. The location is great, its in Canggu away from the Kuta and Seminyak areas, located next to Batu Bolong Beach, with Old Mans Bar opposite, for me it is the perfect location and setting. Dining at the Tugu is also an experience in itself, the menu is extensive, from traditional Balinese, Indonesian and Asian dishes to a full Western menu. everything (including Breakfast) was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff have always been nothing but friendly, happy to greet you and nothing is too much to ask. I really do not have one negative comment about this wonderful boutique hotel. Great place, i will continue to stay and dine there each time i head to Bali. Thank you Tugu Hotel for making my stays perfect :) "

Samanea Beach Resort: "Beautiful hotel"

"Samanea is a beautiful hotel in an incredible setting. The grounds are immaculate and the gardens are perfectly kept. The pond is really lovely, and the swimming pool is excellent. The jetty and the boardwalk around the mangroves brings you closer to the sea and to nature. The bungalows are superb, with a separate lounge area and a nice indoor/outdoor bathroom. Not too many mosquitoes, which surprised me being close to so much natural water. Many guests are weekenders from Phnom Penh, so if you visit midweek you may even have the place to yourself. Staff very helpful. I also had no problem reducing the number of nights I'd booked when changed my travel plans. Areas for improvement: 1. Communication between managers and reception staff is poor. I needed to organise transport in several occasions, but constantly found myself having to start from the beginning each time I spoke to someone different. With the language barrier, this caused a problem more than once. 2. People have a habit of forgetting things! eg tuktuk pick-ups to take me to the bus station, forgetting to service the room one day, food items from the restaurant. 3. The restaurant could be better. Items out of stock one day after another, things missing from an order, breakfast not really explained very well (I'm still unsure what exactly is included in the room rate!), quality variable. Maybe it's because much of their business is done at weekends? 4. Wifi is very unpredictable. Similar hotels in many other countries/resorts could easily charge far more than the rates at Samanea and you wouldn't feel shortchanged, so, notwithstanding the things that could be improved on, Samanea gets 5 stars for being great value for money and having a very friendly bunch of staff always willing to help."

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Perfetto"

"Ho prenotato questa struttura un po' alla cieca ma mi è rimasta nel cuore. Sono rimasta colpita dalla struttura, sono rimasta colpita dal tatto e dalla gentilezza con cui lo staff ti accompagna in una realtà così diversa. La stanza è molto curata sia negli arredi sia per quanto riguarda la pulizia. Abbiamo alloggiato nelle tenda con piscina privata ed è stata un'esperienza unica poter sentire i rumori della natura all'interno di una tenda dotata di ogni confort. Ubud è vicinissima e il resort ha delle navette gratuite con cui raggiungere il centro. Il responsabile Kendu ci ha aiutato in ogni nostra richiesta e necessita..Impeccabile! Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "A real highlight of our trip"

"What they are doing at the Inle Heritage should be used as an example for the rest of Myanmar and for other hotels in emerging markets. Service was fantastic, at first we felt a little overwhelmed with all of the greetings and personal care from the staff.. given that there are 4 times as many staff as guests you may understand why it may feel like this, but after a short while we realised that they are all genuinely lovely, friendly staff that are eager to please and interact with you.. We embraced it. We visited during a very heavy storm and a very large piece of bamboo was hitting against the side of our room, we only mentioned it briefly to a junior member of staff on the way to breakfast and by the time we returned from our day trip it had been cut back.. A huge bamboo tree that would need some serious work.. We were extremely impressed with the effort. Food was excellent and the setting beautiful. Thanks Inle Heritage and keep up your efforts! The Village House: "Fantastic place to unwind"

"A beautiful little hotel about 40 minutes out of Kuching centre. The room was great, the 4 post bed was comfy( and squeaky!) The air con was a great relief. The bathroom was clean and the linen was fluffy. The staff were very attentive and friendly. On site they have a kitchen you can order reasonably priced food and there is a bar that is also well priced. I really enjoyed the food but I didn't trying any western dishes other than a sandwich. When we left for our red-eye flight the staff gave us sandwiches for the trip. There are some deck chairs around the pool that are shaded and the pool is clean, warm and adds to the overall relaxing vibe. There's beautiful gardens too. The ponds and fountains also added to the relaxing nature. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to unwind and relax. They also run trips from the hotel to all the major touristy bits and they can book taxis and airport transfers."

Amata Lanna: "Great boutique hotel"

Awesome hotel with a really amazing staff that makes you feel welcome from the time you walk in. Rooms were very cozy and we enjoyed the nice firm bed! Close to the night bazar and city center. The staff also helped with taxi's and suggested a great spa that offered free transport! Overall a great time at the Amata Lanna

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing"

"My husband and I stayed at the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge in October for 5 nights and it was simply not enough! We loved the resort, its surroundings, tours and people working in it so much, that we felt like staying there forever! It was superb! The journey to the resort is spectacular! Nature surrounding the lodge is simply magnificent! Real paradise! We truly loved it! The lodge itself is wonderful, very well laid-out and well-decorated. Rooms are really spacious and the shower wooden cabin is fabulous! Tours are fabulous! Really interesting and definitely worth taking. The lovely guides are incredibly accommodating and very friendly. In fact, they were fantastic. We really enjoyed our time with them and we actually wish we took few more tours with them. The wonderful restaurant requires a special praise! It was superb!!!! The food was delicious and really plentiful. We were spoilt and we loved it! And the wonderful and really talented chef is only 17! His food was superb! Gordon Ramsey has a serious competition there! The wonderful young men working at the front of the house and restaurant were incredibly sweet and hospitable! They were true gentlemen! Incredibly welcoming and kind. We will definitely miss everyone at the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge! It was superb! Huge thank you to everyone at the resort for making our time simply magical! Samanea Beach Resort: "Great place"

The pier is the star attraction, best place in Kep to experience sunset and because of the small amount of rooms available the resort is never crowded, there are always available beds around the pool. All in all affording a feeling of exclusivity rarely experienced at larger resorts.

Inle Princess Resort: "My kind of paradise"

This resort is everything and more of what you could possibly expect for a great holiday. Contrary to most other lake resort on Inle, it is very quiet and feels very private. Rooms were amazing and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great Spa in a nice setting is a plus as well.
