4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Stunning and calm 3 days at 4 Rivers"
"We loved the lodge, from the moment we arrived the warm welcome and the stunning location were as much as we could have hoped for. From kayaking in the mangroves to swimming in the waterfalls and in the river just outside your tent - this place is anything but dull - check out their activity programme. We are vegan & vegetarian and the staff accommodated us completely - with a varied and changing menu with multiple options every day. Highly recommended - and having read the very few negative reviews I can only think of them as truly bizarre. This is heaven on Earth."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Cultural Hotel"
"Very much enjoyed this hotel/museum. The staff were attentive and informative . The free bikes a great idea . Well located. The female receptionist (song?) was extremely helpful with tips of where to go and advice . Review collected in partnership with this hotel "MesaStila: "Tranquility"
"Tranquil and relaxing this retreat has everything you need for a break from the ordinary. My husband and I just returned from a four fabulous nights at MesaStila, its low season so not very many other guests but all the facilities were available and we were kindly upgraded to an Arum Villa. A large breakfast each morning filled us till tea time, both of which are included in the room price. Dinners were a very good selection of both asian and western foods but i'd highly recommend sticking with the Javanese dishes that the chef, Arya Kusumaatmaja, prepares so excellently. each day has an assortment of activities that are included such as , yoga, coffee plantation tour, martial arts, etc. and there are many optional tours you can book. The staff were all very friendly and professional, the village tour we took with one of the staff( I'm sorry I don't have his name to hand) was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and brought us to several small cottage industries that are well 'off the beaten track'. I've already recommended this place to my expat friends who travel extensively throughout asia and I look forward to going back again someday "The Island Lodge: "A gem on the Mekong river"
"A peaceful place located on a small island on the Mekong river. Perfect gate away from Ho Chi Min. Nice view on the river. Great staff and team. Awesome a la carte breakfast much better than any buffet. Possible to take boat to visit the other islands and not far away from Cai Be floating market. Very authentic and warm welcome. Do not hesitate...run for it."Tugu Bali: "Pure bliss in Canggu"
I have been to Canggu a few times before and never realised that this amazing hotel was actually right there! The interior with Indonesian antiques and art is astonishing and gives the place a special feeling. Our room had a private plunge pool which was a great addition to the hotel pool. I loved having breakfast in a different place every morning and the staff was so friendly and attentive. The cooking class was also amazing as we got to try different Balinese dishes. We also watched the cultural dance and had a delicious dinner that night. It's great to be able to join the afternoon tea time every day and watch the sun go down over the ocean, all in all really such a beautiful experience.Misool Eco Resort: "Very special place"
Just spent 9 days diving at MER. It is a bit of a trek to get to but well worth it. Don't hesitate to go. It is an extremely special place. Apart from the lovely friendly staff, great food and relaxing accommodation all made from recycled wood, the conservation work they are doing is extremely special. Make sure to attend the presentations in the Dive Centre on Mantas and the building of Misool Eco Resort, very interesting. We had great vis most of the time. The highlight had to be Magic Mountain where we had a magical encounter with 6 mantas who stayed around the whole dive and performed for us. Other favourite dives included Nudi Rock, Fiabacet and Wedding Cake. (...) A special thanks to the managers, Sue and Mark who's hospitality and personal service was wonderful. What enjoyable evenings we had chatting with them and the other great guests we shared the island with that week. We also had the honor of being the first guests in their new coffee shop which is located in front of Sorong airport. It is sure to be a great success. Tastefully done and makes a great departure lounge. The MER staff went and checked us in while we sipped coffee and browsed for last minute memorabilia. Then, half hour before the flight we were transported to the airport and walked straight through and onto our plane.CHAKRABONGSE VILLAS: "Beautiful stay! Highly recommend"
"My friend and I stayed here for a few nights at the beginning of March. The villas are absolutely stunning with a beautiful pool and lovely dining area on the river. All the staff are polite, friendly and super helpful. Mr Ohm and Ms Atom were always there when we needed them, we especially appreciated the late check in and taxi from the airport organised for us. Room was gorgeous and very clean too! The hotel is right in the heart of old BKK so you can escape the hustle and bustle whilst also being able to see all the temples on your doorstep. This place is a hidden gem, highly recommend for anyone wanting a chilled space in BKK or for couples wanting a romantic getaway! "Mathis Retreat: "Magique"
"I loved it! From the first steps we made into the camp, till the minute we had to leave. Noel´s Safari Camp is probably the best and most ecological way of luxury living around the national park. Every tent has a comfy bed with netted windows, monkeysafe and outdoor styled bathroom facilities, solar lights, eco soap and wonderfully scented and clean towels and linen. Although we knew that we´re already in the national park, surrounded by wildlife we felt totally safe. We sadly didn´t get the chance to see any leopards on our safary, but the fact that we could spot lots of other animals in their natural environment itself is woth going there."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Just Fantastic"
"My mum and I stayed here in the luxury tent and it was fantastic. I poked my nose in the more Safari style tent and it was too basic for me but other people seemed to enjoy the adventure. The luxury lodge was air conditioned, spacious, comfortable, ensuite, hot water etc... the lounge for pre and post dinner drinks was welcoming and friendly, the food was AMAZING and the chef will do a cooking demo if you ask. We saw six leopards over four drives, just delighted. We used the back gate of block one and also block five. Such a pleasant experience, not crowded and very successful. When we checked out they asked for feedback, I said a pool would be good - half joking! It's coming! But it's fantastic without anyway. Go go go! Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"
