I have been to Tugu Bali many times since 2004 and it maintains a high level of quality with wonderful and friendly staff, great service, gorgeous views, easy access to the beach and very comfortable rooms...will be back!Rachamankha: "Incredible!"
This was our favorite boutique hotel in Chang Mai, Thailand. It was located down a side street, but was an incredible venue. The architecture and flow was impressive. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful. The grounds were laid out artfully and were gorgeously landscaped. Breakfast and meals there were wonderful. We stayed several days and were able to sample almost everything on their menu and were never disappointed. They also have a small museum on property that should not be missed. The hotel was a refuge of tranquility and beauty. Very close to major attractions all of which were a short drive away. Stayed 4N. Fantastic all round services, food, location, hotel ambience. Highly reccomend. Travel from Surabaya a/p to Malang not so convenient -by car took us 3 hrs. Return to Surabaya by executive train to Gubeng, city station- no stress 2 hrs.Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "What a lovely stay"
Very nice small resort in a beautiful and preserved site, including a direct access to a magnificent beach. The bungalows are lovely and convenient, with their private pool and outer lounge. The staff and management are both discreet and efficient, always available. Exquisite cuisine too, we didn't expect such high-quality. Loved this place! Simply beautiful and charming! Every detail, every flower and candle was just perfect. The hotel is very clean and everybody is kind and helpful! We had dinner at the restaurant and I have to admit that I was a bit nervous telling them about my celiac disease and how they had to be careful! The menager himself discuss with me about what I could eat and how everything had to be done! I had an amazing dinner and a delicious breakfast!!! "Hotel 4 in stunning location 500 metres above sea level. I love it up here. Perhaps not really for beach lovers, but the infinity pool is fabulous with views across rice fields extending down the valley. Individual traditional wood cabin accommodation with huge and very comfortable bed. Spotless modern bathroom, wonderful private veranda with mountain views. Superb restaurant with elevated terrace and views serving Balinese cuisine with a french twist. My rare steak was to die for. Easy access to stunning trekking to waterfalls through beautiful jungle booked in advance or through the hotel. This is a proper flavour of the beautiful island of Bali. FANTASTIC! "I visited the Blue Mansion during one of the tour groups, and I was simply captivated by the rich story behind the building. Every single detail of the mansion was explained meticulously by the guides. I did the guided tour twice, and I was very impressed by the fact that the guides were genuinely passionate about the history of the building, as well as the history of George Town. I went back to the Blue Mansion for dinner at the restaurant upstairs. Again, I was impressed. the food was spectacular, the decor is kept minimal, so the natural beauty of the building can be appreciated. I particularly love that I get to have a drink at the balcony and stare at the beautiful sculptures up close! Definitely worth visiting. Again and again and again and again. Great food and friendly staff with really lovely pools. We went in the rainy season but still had a great time!! Very friendly & helpful staff, including the manager. Decided to give this hotel a try based on some recommendations, and also due to the fact that i had a work appointment nearby. Great location & many interesting local attractions to visit nearby. Food at the Blue Mansion was brilliant.The Apsara Rive Droite: "Very nice place"
Perfect location near by the river Khan, and so close the center with all shops, restaurants and bars. Warm welcome. Rooms having a very good value for money. Plus, we had a nice meal at the restaurant. Friendly staff and kind manager Christopher.
