Villa Mathis: "Everything about this place is just perfect"

Review by: CarolAsia | Source: Trip Advisor
Love to travel but most love staying in unique places. Mathis so far is the most incredible place I have ever stayed in. Each villa is unique and represents different parts of Indonesia. Also each villa has its own pool, place to chill, read, meditate or just play around. The service is amazing. The location is great close everywhere which makes is perfect place to stay in.

Reverie Siam: "Sophisticated and stunning without being pretentious"

Review by: Dana D | Source: Trip Advisor
We loved our stay at the Reverie Siam. We took advantage of their free shuttle into town for night life which was easy and convenient. We also rode bike and also rented motorbikes to get to out of town adventures. It was always so nice to return to the tasteful serenity of the property. The details are just wonderful. We also appreciated a well executed menu and wine selections. What a wonderful getaway.

Inle Princess Resort: "A Magical Place"

Review by: Fallsbiker | Source: Trip Advisor
From being "driven" into the hotel by a one-leg oarsman to enjoying the palacial dining room, this is a magical place. The contrast between life here, and the abject poverty in Myanmar fomented by years of dictatorship is instructive.

Supanniga Eating Room: "Great food with a unique dish"

Review by: Living_luxury | Source: Trip Advisor
Ate with a group of work colleagues and was Super impressed. There is deep fried catfish which comes out like popcorn. To die for. Also all the usual great Thai dishes. Well worth it for great local food

Mudanwan Villa: ""

Review by: Faith T | Source: Trip Advisor

muang la: "Wonderful find"

Review by: AnnBoss | Source: tripadvison.com
"This amazing retreat is worth the 5 hour road trip from Luang Prabang. We only stayed 2 nights. Would loved to have stayed longer. The food is wonderful. The taster menu couldn't be better. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. Couldn't have hoped for more. "

Tugu Bali: "Wonderful Experience"

Review by: Travelbug000111 | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you are looking for a luxury hotel which upon entry you feel like you are in a warm home filled with beautiful antiques and lovely friends, stay at Hotel Tugu Bali. The rooms are beautifully decorated with wooden floors, four poster beds, day lounges, and unique lamps/dressers/etc. We stayed in room 208 which overlooks a pond filled with water lilies directly below and the ocean in view (and earshot). The room layout included a partially enclosed room with a day bed, sunken tub and seating area-a perfect area to have breakfast and/or dinner. The food was delicious-both breakfast and dinner included a variety of local options, including tasting plates. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgable. My sister took a floral arranging class with Dek, who is extremely talented and showed her how to make beautiful offerings. Massages are very good-highly recommended. Once at the hotel there is no reason to leave-it is an experience in itself. However, the hotel is located about a 2 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to an area which has many restaurants and shops. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"

Papua Paradise: "Unique and exciting experience!"

Review by: Constance Otradovec | Source: Google Review
Papua Paradise was a unique and exciting experience, jungle meets the sea. The bungalows over the water were something I’ve always wanted to experience. The bed was very comfortable and mosquito nets were put up every morning and put down again at night. Every night, the frogs would sing loudly and the birds would wake you in the morning. Excellent timing since there was so much great snorkeling to experience. I especially liked all the hooks in the room for hanging clothing, etc, as well as the drying rack on the porch. The food was plentiful and delicious. There were many choices at each meal, Indonesian and western. Staff were friendly and helpful. The snorkeling in Raja Ampat and the Fam Islands was incredible! Snorkeling the house reefs was in itself a great experience. The house has a front reef, to the left and to the right of the pier as well as a back reef, a short walk to the other side of the resort. We especially enjoyed the front reef to the left facing the island at the end near the last of the bungalows. The dive team were all helpful and knowledgeable. Papua Paradise is rustic but well set up. If you’re out to dive or snorkel, I think you’ll enjoy the resort.

Muang La Lodge: "Peaceful place with very accommodating staff"

Review by: Eric W | Source: Trip Advisor
"The staff, premises and rooms make this place wonderful. Staff is extremely accommodating and anticipates every need. You don't ever get ""no"" as an answer. The amount of effort the staff gives is unmatched, especially in such a remote location. Food is great not amazing. They gave me extra portions since I was a big eater which was very kind. The Of Rice and Men excursion was great w an amazing picnic lunch. For our other excursion, Mountain bikes were mediocre but good enough for our ride. Not trails but back dirt roads. We also selected to do a full day hike w a guide. The part we did was great but if you plan on doing a hike make sure you ask some questions and prepare accordingly. We weren't warned until last minute about the potential leeches that would inevitably crawl on us during a certain point in the hike. We ended up not getting that far anyway as we cut our long hike short when we reached an extremely steep area w loose gravel. Getting down would have been too difficult. We are fit and intermediate hikers and it wouldn't have been enjoyable. Overall the Muang La Lodge experience was great. The price is what it is, and I found myself wondering if I could have found a better deal for a similar experience in Laos. Make no mistake, you're definitely in some great hands at the lodge."
