Mume: "Dinner with Friends"
It looks private from outside, foods are delicious and creative. Not that much choice but delicious. It is worth to try.Tugu Lombok: "Very Romantic; great personalized Service! Not too far from Gili Islands"
"So romantic, with extremely well-presented Villas and personalized service: felt like everyone there knew our names from hour one! The grounds are lovely and the pool is excellent. Feels like it should cost a lot more $$ than it does. Notably though it is somewhat isolated and one is pretty 'much here' if not taking a Taxi, so I felt they could have either had rested on poor food - or charged a lot at their Restaurants - but instead the Food was really, really good IMO; some of my favorite in Bali and Lombok. We greatly also enjoyed our included Brekkies... Came here with my Son and we got an extra bed which fit fine within our spacious lovely Villa; we were able to spend a lot of time together. A nice thing too is that one can also say take a taxi to local harbor 'Bangdol' to take a slow boat (costs like 15,000 IDR) to Gili T (the fast boat is 4x more and just a few minutes faster)... also see Gili Meno and Gili Air which I recommend.. one small thing to be aware of is the Taxi Brokers when first arriving from say Bali at Bangdol: they will try to charge you 500,000 or more for a taxi from a Harbor to Hotel and yet will 'secretly' give the taxi driver only 50,000 of that!! If you can make your way past thronging Brokers and ignore their aggressive entreaties; go up to actual Taxi drivers and they will take you to wonderful Hotel Tugu for 100,000 or less. If you can get a Blue Bird metered taxi it might be 30,000. We learned our lesson and became pretty adept in avoiding the aggressive Taxi Brokers in Bangdol Harbor! And this allows a lot of travel in going to and from great Hotel Tugu. Anyway both my Son and I felt that Hotel Tugu and its Staff and Meals were fantastic! Like a hidden gem in Lombok. I think that this place would be great too for Romance and couples. Rob W. Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"The Cabochon Hotel: "my favourite place to stay in Bangkok"
"from the moment we walked in the door.....we fell in love with this place.....we can not recommend it highly enough! if you want something special, tucked away, unexpected with the most divine attentive staff.....this is it! we will only stay in this gorgeous hotel whenever we choose to visit this city. a very very special place indeed! the attention to detail, the drinks and cocktail choices are just perfect and the rooms to enjoy them in....are so so beautiful. a thai restaurant too with delicious food, a swimming pool, everything is here. all I can say is, we just don't want to leave.....its the perfect get away in a busy bustling city that can be very overwhelming. The Cabachon is an oasis with styling perfection. thank you for having us!"Tugu Bali: "Closest hotel to the beach"
This hotel was 5 stars with a 3 star price. Everything was perfect at this hotel. It was close to the beach (a 3 minute walk). Very clean, beautiful rooms. The staff went above and beyond. I had a sun burn and called the front desk to see if they had any aloe. What they did was track down an aloe plant and brought it to my room. It was amazing! I also loved the essential oil they had in our room and the hotel packaged up some for me to take home. They really wanted you to love your stay! The breakfasts were outstanding. I had the healthy yogurt bowls that were out of this world. Can't wait to visit again!Maison Polanka: "Haven in a garden"
"We had a blissful stay for three nights. Staff was very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. We stayed in the Yellow room which we thought was the best room in the main house as it was private, located right next to the shared coffee/tea making facilty and had a big, light bathroom. We arranged for two temple tours through the hotel and the guide allocated was informative and a terrific photographer. Choose this place if you want a quiet place off the touristy area but close enough to hop on a tuk tuk to Pub St in approximately 10mins!"Flower Island: "Unforgettable"
"An unforgettable stay! Worth every Pesos! Absolutely beautiful setting, caring and kind staff, stunning rooms, peace and tranquility not find in many places left on earth! Pearl farm visit a must with super interesting and professional staff. Was encouraging to see the environmental programmes supported by the resort and the pearl business. Clean, clear ocean with the best snorkelling in Palawan. Thank you so much to all the staff for your incredible kindness and care. We will return to paradise! Room Tip: Loved Golden room"The Hue House: "Dinner"
Probably the best meal so far in Saigon this beautiful Vietnamaurrant sits on top of mastr building .Quite difficult to find but well worth the effort.Xcellnt food and staff very friendly price rang very reasonableSatri House: "Perfection"
"We loved this small hotel only a ten minute walk in to town to reach the start of the night market. It is full of wonderful artefacts and curios and lovely nooks with comfy seating to curl up with a book. The junior suite we occupied was wonderful with a fabulous shower and bath and separate w.c.. The two swimming pools were lovely each with its own character. Sweet and comfy bar available and we thought the restaurant was good although we mostly ate in town. Delicious breakfasts. Charming service. The hotel was very helpful organising reservations in local restaurants too. Could have stayed much longer and definitely will return to this haven if we come back to Laos."Supanniga Eating Room: "Tasty Thai Treat"
"Went to Supanniga as within walking distance of our hotel. Nice ambience and super friendly staff. Really nice that they asked us how spicy we wanted the food and they got it spot on for us - we like spice but not Thai hot! We shared pu jah crab - minced pork and crab meat and pla som Tod - fishcakes. Both were lovely, really liked the fact that the fishcakes had texture to them, not spongy. Both dishes were really flavoursome. For main courses, we shared two crab dishes, pricey compared with the rest of the menu - plenty of cheaper options available. Both dishes were lovely, great to share - one with a spicy coconut style curry sauce and the second dish with yellow peppers. We shared some noodles too. No room for dessert - plenty of food. If I had to grumble then the main courses arrived a bit too quick for us but no big deal. We both agreed it was one of the best Thai meals we'd had - not cheap but high quality food served by a really nice bunch of staff. Would return again."Rachamankha: "Beautifully Antique hotel with friendly services"
We enjoyed the antique furnitures and room, brilliant breakfast and excellent services. The room was tidied few times a day and we got welcome drinks and no insects wander in the room. Definitely recommended
