Bassac Cruises: "An experience not to be missed"
"Boarded the Bassac at Cai Be, a well organised tour, food excellent, the varying scenery of the Mekong terrain makes you wonder how any army (even the USA) would even consider trying to subdue the residents. The was of life as explained by An the guide was an eye opener - they must be 100 years behind the rest of the country. A revelation. Guide An was excellent."Maison Polanka: "It’s even more beautiful the 2nd time around"
I consider this my home in Siem Reap. Everything about this place is pure magic. From the whole ambiance and the garden, the rooms, the pool, and most of all the restaurant, everything is simply exquisite! The owner Nathalie is a sweetheart, her and her staff are one of the warmest people you will ever meet there in Siem Reap. They arrange trips for you and make sure you are taken cared of even if you are outside the premises. I love love love love Maison Polanka, I'm so grateful to have been there.Hotel Tugu Malang: "Fantastic home away from home"
"Currently staying here with my family in executive suite for 5 nights. I usually wait awhile before doing reviews if at all, but I needed to do this. The hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Malang. Originally a colonial house that was renovated and expanded into the current 5 star hotel. Very centrally located in Malang. The decorations are very unique and truly a different feel with the various antiques and furnishings that have been collected by the owners over the years. Took a tour and hired a professional photographer to take pictures of us throughout the various spaces where the antiques are. Art, Ceramics, statues, ancient pottery, furniture, and much more. Staff are friendly and always very prompt and trying to help. My kids actually prefer to just stay in hotel rather than go out to see city and other attractions it’s so comfortable here! Rooms are clean and Well maintained. Spacious. Good mattress and linens etc. Well worth the stay and price is great for a true 5 Star hotel! Will stay here again no doubt."SUMMERTIME VILLA: "A Paradise"
Summertime Villa represents the beautiful journey of Sucheta and Hans together and their various travel tales...There will never be a dull moment during you stay! Every corner of this gorgeous place represents the taste and expertise of its beautiful owners..The staff is so helpful and polite with smiles on their faces..The meals that they serve is to die for with so much of love in it, be it local or international cuisine!! Whether watching birds, reading books or having simple conversations over a glass of wine, this place will embrace you unconditionally! Please do visit this place to add some everlasting and memorable moments in your lives......The Island Lodge: "aradise on the Mekong Delta"
We were lucky enough to stay here for one night after booking the Les Rives 2 day Mekong Delta speedboat tour. After an awesome day, we had a 1-2hr speedboat ride and had a bit of a snooze.....we woke up just as we arrived at the lodge and wow, instantly it took our breath away. We were greeted personally by the check in staff, room manager and then Michel (one of the owners). This place is beautiful, not crowded, such a feeling a peace and tranquility. Every member of staff was exceptional. If we head back to Vietnam again.....we know where we will be staying :)Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing Traditional Villas"
We only stayed there for a night and also it was kinda low season period so yea not so many guests were around and more quiet and peaceful. For the breakfast its not that great tho. The Spa looks so nice with hybrid colonial and traditional style cottage. You can also learn more about clay pot making process, they have nice jetty for boat pick up if you up to go for ride around INLE lake. The dinning hall itself it s more looks like a traditional Myanmar theater which is also good looking. For the pool, even its small, its still looks so beautiful with the set up and surrounding lake and plants. For overall, its a nice views with inner lake surrounded by the villas, very large villas interior, outside shower with large area, very fast wifi internet, nice people around. For me i really dont find it very good food for breakfast, may be i was there on the low season and not many guests are around and also staffs. Anyway the resort itself is so beautiful and interior decorations with stunning views.Manukan Island Resort: "Staff are there main asset"
"We visited here for a 4 night short holiday at the end of our main holiday in Malaysia. We were very impressed with all the staff at the resort. They excel in customer service and really do go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We made some comments about the breakfast ( not covered / few flies buzzing around) - it was addressed straightway, professionally. The chalet we had was very nice and enjoyed having our little beach to come and go as we please. Everywhere is very clean. The island it self doesn't have a huge choice of things to do, other than snorkel, and is definitely bring a book place. The island is busy during the day with day trippers but it's great at night when you get it you self - you get to wander about, sat on the jetty watching the fish. There a few good food choices - the main restaurant is good - slightly more expressive than mainland but then food is imported. You might get tired of the menu after a few days - a refresh or daily specials would be good. It's doesn't offer a huge number of options for families but if you just want somewhere to relax and watch the world go by with excellent services I would recommend."Babe: "Food with a view"
This place is food divinity! The waiter offered me for trying the lamb chop. Uhmmm no words required, the lamb was very tasty!!! So juicy and tender. This place serves Japanese tapas with a mix of western Japanese. The food prepared here was something I had not seen elsewhere and was delicious. The staffs are very nice and the seafood are very fresh as some of their ingredients are flown in from Japan. I love the atmosphere where you dine next to the swimming pool. The dim lights, the seats and the magnificent view gives thus place two thumbs up.Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful little classical hotel."
If you're looking for a hotel in Ho Chi Minh city, i recommend you Villa Song Saigon, the hidden gem only 10 mins by car or you also can take the private free boat into the City. The hotel is by the Saigon river, nice view for breakafast and afternoon tea.Try the eggs benedict for breakfast, won't disappoint you. Nice...Tugu Bali: "Superb Dining Course"
"We visited the Tugu by chance when in search for a different dining experience. Their prefixed course menu is nothing but impressive. It is certain worth the splurge. For me the most valuable was their willingness to accommodate on vegetarian options. It is recommended to book at least a day in advance. If you have a large group, they have rooms available with a rather interesting decor theme of red lights, antique and wooden carvings (picture an imperial room in Shanghai). Service is pleasant and friendly. "
